The official Adult Swim Facebook
page has shared a video featuring some old known faces to the Transformers fandom: Beast Wars leader Megatron and at-times-second-in-command Scorponok! The two are apparently advertising a new Robot Chicken episode, which has featured Transformers toys and characters previously - but the added kick this time round? Original Megatron voice actor David Kaye is reprising his role for the clip!
Check it out below, and as this is Adult Swim, please be aware that some strong language is used.

They could have added Frank Welker without knowing who Kaye is, but it's great that I can hear David's voice again!

Finally! Robot Chicken acknowledges Beast Wars! And it not even a hint of a cheap Optimus Primal poop joke? Ah, there's hope for it yet.
And here this season started out so lame that I was worried it'd be their last. As long as there's more toys in the box they've yet to stop-animate, there's hope!

I have Adult Swim on my FB, I saw this clip this morning. I watched it twice, laughing like crazy at it to the point my co-worker thought I was deranged.....he's not wrong.
The guys on Robot Chicken have always done a great job bringing in folks who voiced or acted out their characters. Seth Green has done awesome with this show.

Great stuff! It's so sad how much better Scorponok's toy looked in comparison to his design on the show.

Oh my dog David Kaye as Megatron again. Parody or not, I don't care. How I missed him!

That was actually pretty good, I could have seen something like this being a Beast Wars Episode.
One of the best things is that there was no "crude" humor in this like I have associated with Robot Chicken in the past.

I had no idea robot chicken was still going, this is fantastic. Wonder what it would take for them to do a whole episode on transformers, they should have more than enough material. When anyone says to me about how old I am to play with toys my reply is normally "seth green does it! And he gets paid for doing it!"

...Okay, yeah, it's cool that they did something with Beast Wars and David Kaye, but this comedy routine is REALLY by-the-numbers. It's a tired sitcom routine, cliche'd to all hell, following the same formula everyone else has done. I knew the punchline about 10 seconds in, and that's never a good sign. This was a simplistic, dull, people-pleaser sketch, just the lowest hanging fruit short of Primal poop jokes. Robot Chicken has written much wittier comedy in other sketches.

It's bothering me that they didn't open up Scorponok's mutant head to show his robot head.
Also, yeesh, that ending was dark.

I've seen worse. And, of course, by worse I mean better. In fact, I've seen worse ON Robot Chicken. Like all the B*tch Pudding episodes, which are
golden.

Theyvtotally recolored a Polar claw.
I thought the V/A had to be Kaye or either a REALLY good soundalike.

Eh, i saw thT coming. Still awesome though. Robot Chicken has killed lots of character before and done weirder stuff.
Scorpys head bugged me too. Surprised to see an OG Megatron withbhis beast mask. I got in after Beast Wars so all I ever saw were the retooled "accurate" heada without the mask.

Predictable ending but that doesnt take away from the comedic value, its about time they did a Beast Wars skit and having David Kaye just makes it better. One thing that bothered me though was they didnt open up scorponoks mask, yeah it looks cooler but its not accurate. It would be cool if they did a follow up to this: show megatron getting arrested by prowl & barricade for killing the panda, throw him in the back of optimus primes trailer and have primal driving prime, throw some kind of comedic thing in there like megs see maximals everywhere or something. But heres hoping for more beast war skits and just more Beast Wars in general, its time for a revival.

It's overdue for a revival

Well, yeah, it's Robot Chicken. Not much to expect from them since bottom-of-the-barrel lowbrow "humor" is what they're known for. They aim for the lowest common denominator of "comedy".

To each their own, but even RC hits a higher mark than most (CN) cartoons nowadays.
But even if you cant laugh, you have to apprrciate the work put into it. Ots clay and Stop Motion with toys and it still felt good. The transition from a Clay Panda to the Polar Claw toy was good. And they got the Megatron VoiceActor, so props for initiative

That's always good stuff.
If only they the didn't just use it for the most tasteless of low-hanging fruit.

South Park is still the best comedy show. At least Robot Chicken isn't as lazy as Family Guy.

Not a huge fan of Robot Chicken, but it was at least mildly amusing and I'm pleasantly surprised to see Beast Wars on the pop-culture radar at all, which I don't think I've seen before for a version of Transformers other than G1 or the movies.

I thought it was odd, but I've always felt like Scorpy's mutant head looked better anyhow.
