Yes, you can see a head and fists poking out in one of the photos.

I must resist.

Way too big for the ClassiGeneVerse? If anything, this gestalt looks like it will be closest to scale, probably besting FP Crossfire Bruticus.

It's definitely too big. This thing would tower over Universe Bruticus with Fansproject addons as well as Superion and Crazydevy Devastator.
Technically yes, if you wanted to go by some sources this would be close to scale if you wanted him to tower over the other figures. But, and this is a big but, there is no other Gestalt out there that would look right next to it so it would stick out like a sore thumb.
The best you'd be able to do is display him with some other deluxe figures but I'm keeping crazydevy with my Classics collection.
Edit-> The teaser we got before from tfclub says it will be 30cm which is about 12 inches. This would be taller than Bruticus but not by much. The conflict I have is in the pictures scavenger looks huge. Even if the guy has tiny hands, just the arm looks to be around 7" long. Also, Scavenger appears to have more mass than the universe counterparts. I guess it's still too early to tell.

Just that limb alone puts the most recent attempts by Hasbro at creating a quality Devastator to shame.

Classics Henkei Universe Generations Please refrain from using it though, it's a slurr as well.
It is? Can was start banning people from using CHUG then. It's a stupid name anyway. Classics for me.

This is going to be a huge figure. From the picture of hand holding it, I would guess it's going to be Primus size. 12 inches? I don't think so...

My question and answer exactly. Boy, you guys are making it easy today. Thanks!

One part is going to set you back 80 bucks! These TFclub guys are pretty damn ambitious.
Until a company successful enough that they can lower their prices and increase production numbers, there is no point to this.
And this certainly comes as a major hit to me personally considering I've already spent upwards of $1000 on transformers this year alone. Heck, me cutting back is why iGear's kickin' Arcee figure will never see the likes of my shelf.

No real need to worry about that I think, since their track record does include Battle Rollar.

That actually worries me more. Battle Rollar was cheaply done and looser than my ex. Gear of War 1 was cheaply made too. However GoW2 was much better, so I am cautiously optimistic on this set.

This is a WHOLE new Devastator from TFClub, nothing whatsoever to do with G1 Devastator or CrazyDevy. And you shouldn't let Perfect Effect's quality make you shun 3rd party products, FansProject is better quality & construction than HasTakTom, iGear makes some pretty good weapons, I wouldn't buy any of their figures, but that's because I find them to be nothing more than overpriced KOs. HeadRobots also does some pretty good work(especially for the price).

Really? Reviews gave me relatively good confidence in the toy. Though it is made almost entirely of ball joint's so I guess it's not a huge surprise. Still, ball joints are something that can be fixed, and what really matters is that the plastic quality is good.

HollyW00d wrote:Remember people, if this preview image is to be believed, and the silhouette is Devastator, then he'll only be 30cm tall. This doesn't seem right when you look at the images but it could be a trick of perspective combined with tiny hands on the sculptor. Jury's still out
Maybe they meant to put 30in. LOL

Ok that joke was way too easy, In fact it was probably intentional.

COMPARISON::: To Energon Omega Supreme
RESULT::: This Devastator figure will stand roughly the same size as Supreme Energon Devastator. The forearm proportions are very much the same, and the closed fist takes about the same amount of space up on my wrist as does OS' right claw.
CONCLUSION::: Be very excited people. If I'm right, this Devastator figure will be in scale with classics figures (deluxe/voyager class)(Classics Bruticus and Superion are undersized for Gestalt figures), and roughly animated movie-accurate in size as well as looks.
SECONDARY CONCLUSION::: New pants required

Agreed on both conclusions. Just hope i'm not poor come the release date, I think this thing is going to really hurt wallets, don't even dare think about what it will probably cost on secondary markets later on if the quality is as good as it looks so far.

Guess I'm opening a new saving account now. Wow, third party manufactures really know how to cater to us old G1 farts. Oh damn, now i kind want those legends sized figures to be Dev's guns.

Thank you. That was exactly my point earlier. The FP updated/Energon repaint Gestalts are way out of scale on the small side so it will be nice to have something nearly the right size. And I suspect that this figure will be around the same size as Bruticus with his back cannons extended up so they'll probably look just fine together.

This is from a third party company, not to be confused with TFCC (Transformers Collectors Club.)
