G4TV has posted an interview with High Moon Studio's Sean Miller, the game director for Transformers DOTM the video game. The game is described as a prologue that helps to set up characters and situations for the upcoming movie. Players will take the form of both Autobots and Decepticons in a single campaign story with levels built around certain characters. They also discuss the new "Stealth Force" system, which is basically a way to deploy various weapons without having to constantly switch between robot and vehicle modes. The interview can be viewed here, or watch it below!

only reason why stealth force was incorporated in is because hasbro needs some way to try and sell the toys to the kids so they stop warming the shelves. I have more faith in the game then i do in the movie, these guys seem to know what they are doing but im still going to wait til i see live gameplay. With pax coming up im sure we'll see some soon.

I've more faith in the movie than the game since I enjoyed the first two movies and found WfC to be the most tedious game I bought last year. Still, at least this game looks better graphically at least. A lot easier to see what's going on and uses movie designs rather than their godawful blocky junk crap from WfC.

Hmmm...the Stealth Force concept is being applied outside the toyline. Sounds like a good idea.

Why couldn't they incorporate "stealth force" into the main toyline instead of this crappy "Mech-Tech"????

The game's still looking good; I'm starting to like the steath force concept. Megatron looks cool, but I wish he would fix his face...

So stealth force is another mode entirely? Great! If [vehicle] strafing is only available in this mode, then I'll be able to dig it. Now the question is how they've chosen to switch modes. : x Is L3 being used again? Circle, R2, etc.?? (sorry players on other consoles/pc, you're going to have to translate that for your own favourite platform)
