I've just got back from a fruitless evening of Transformers shopping in Hong Kong, but I did find something interesting.
In one of my regular (and reliable) Transformers dealer's stores I saw a notice for the pre-order of Disney Label Donald Duck, who appears to transform into a Yellow Beetle. Due for release in August for around $30 (US)
Sorry for the poor picture quality, the image itself was blurry and I was using an iPhone to take the photo.
Does this mean that the Disney Label will continue? Has Takara joined forces with one of the US's largest amusement moguls? Will keep you posted as more details develop.

But I can't since they went with the Bumblebee angle this time.
There's one thing i'm still wondering. Why are Mickey, Donald, and whoever else that may have one, controlling mechs that resemble Cybertronians? Is there even a story to this line?

Ah well...
Nice to see Volkswagon and Transformers teamed up again, even if it in such a bizarre arena...(assuming this is going to be an actual release)

So if this line continues, who would be next? Gotta be Goofy...

Hopefully this goes on for long enough that we get stuff like a Jack Skellington or some other Disney Villains.
Come on. You know you want a Maleficent with a Dragon Alt Mode. Id like to see some villains. But with Mickeys main opponant being Pete, the big fat dog. How are they going to fit that into a Walther?
What about a Goofy version of Blaster with a Cassette form Pluto?
Now if only the Micky were reasonably priced for the size

You mean Disney actually did animation? With actual cartoon characters? Craziness!
But seriously, I think Donald could have done better than a rubbish character like Bumblebee.

I'd get more of these. I like that they are using TF designs in the mix. I wish the other crossover lines would do this.

And I think it would be cool if they did Minnie Mouse/Arcee
Not that I wouldn't mind a Hot Rod, Megatron, or Starscream mix either.
It would be cool to see a Gizmoduck/Prowl to pull something completely out of nowhere.

Either Pete or Blot. Those two must be the best candidates if there ever comes a Megatron-esque DL toy.
Though Blot and Soundwave would be pretty neat too, both are spies etc.

OMG! I can't believe someone else remembers Gizmoduck!
This Donaldbot would be perfect if it had a mechanical feature that made it hop up and down in place and wave his fists while quacking angrily...
Oh, and can anyone else see Scrooge McDuck as RotF Jetfire?

Yeah Volkswagon just stays away from anything promoting war...I'm not surprised they have no problem with the Disney Label line...That's also why I doubt there will ever be a Disney Label Megatron...I just can't see Disney having one of their characters turn into a handgun or even a tank or whatever...

Great idea. And to think folks were badmouthing the whole cane concept.
The more I think about it, the more the Gizmoduck/Prowl idea is growing on me (yeah, there are others out there who remember and I wasn't a youngster back in those days either) I noticed the idea of Pete/Megatron and the counter-argument of Disney's non-violent, no gun/no tank stance. Grimlock-Pete is something I could totally see. There is a good chance that Disney may steer a little clear of the faction focus and instead just shoot for designs that seem to fit with Disney's own established characters. We may very well not even see a Megatron persona for this line.
The idea of adding Transformers to the next Kingdom Hearts line...SWEET! Even if it's only these style of Transformers, the very thought that the TF influence has reached this extent is awsome.

If only Disney Label weren't so expensive! Market this in America, Hasbro and Disney--people will eat it up!
