my mini-bot army... so far
bumblebee -classics deluxe class
cliffjumper -classics deluxe class
brawn -"stand in" ROTF scout class Firetrap
beachcomber -ROTF scout class
windcharger -reveal the shield scout class
outback -"stand-in" reveal the shield deluxe class fallback.... same damn character
warpath -classics deluxe class
....and then there is voyager class seaspary who looks very nice but is so much taller than all the others... ohh well i'd rather him be bigger and better detailed than undersized like the two 3rd party "sprays" we already got.

You people all like this? All of you, seriously? I catch crap left and right on these forums for being too loyal to Generation One, and then this...this...THING comes out and I'm thinking finally something G1 that I actually DON'T like, I can finally agree with everyone...but NOPE I start to scroll down the comments and everybody seems to be short stroking it over this thing.
Mugatu says: "I feel like I'm taking crazy pills!!!" LOL
Whatever, I'm pulling for I-Gear in general so I'm glad they'll make some dough on this thing but it's not for me. I don't like the design....why does a robot (spiritually gifted with a "spark" or not) need a clear helmut/dome? Just to look like an astronaut? I get it, the tacky 50's, 60's UFO alt mode was enough, you don't have to go all Billy Mumy on this thing like some prop from "Lost in Space". And those arms? Dreadful...I mean, change the color scheme to orange and off-white and you'd have an aborted Unicron fetus from his 80's prototype. I guess the fact that this thing will sell just goes to show that it takes all types to make up the world.

1) everyone is entitled to like whatever they want, we do not all have to agree with each other but at least respect each other.
2) If you catch crap (really bad)then please pm me said posts so I can deal with whomever is giving you grief
3) Agreeing with everyone is so important? Hell I like the fact that I do NOT agree with most..
After seeing the proto pix I dig him.. He will lok nice next to igear Huffer and Seaspray..

Prime Evil wrote:Nice, I'm definitely looking forward to this one. Looks like a good scout class as well. I'm hoping for a $20-$25 price range with the size increase for a 3rd party product.
Size increase? Looks like it'll be the same size as Rager and Spray, at $15-$18 each. They're all part of the same "MW" (Mini-Warrior) line.

We also welcome the proposal of the height of them, thanks.

craggy wrote:UK folks: anyone been ordering any of these guys? Direct from iGear the best way to go? I usually go to Kapow for my TFs but they appear to have an iGear deficit.
I can't comment on their credit card security as I use PayPal whenever available, but when it comes to iGear products the only reason to not go direct to them is if you have loyalty to a particular retailer. Place a pre-order with them and you'll get your stuff cheaper than anywhere else, quicker than anyone else and their free shipping also applies to the UK.
I've placed three orders with iGear in the past and this guy will certainly be the fourth (or fifth if Hench is listed first).

Yeah, I did miss that. I welcome the size increase, but I hope the price doesn't increase much. The price point was one of the appealing things about Rage and Spray. It's rare to be able to buy a quality 3rd-party figure for less than $20, especially shipped.

I totally agree, but I'm hoping that iGear will realize that part and that was what really appealed to a lot of collectors was the price point. But the one reason I didn't buy them was because of the size. I don't really collect Legend class, but will do scout class. I can see this maxing out at $30, but I'm really want to buy this for no more then $25. We will see soon though.

Is it just me or is this Cosmos coming off as downright burly? It's like a WFC design.
It's quite a transition; G1 was fat and happy. He trimmed down in Classicsverse. And now he looks like he can wreck some decepticons.

And will people PLEASE stop complaining about the helmet? Of course a robot wouldn't need a helmet in space. But robots also don't need human faces, voices, or accents, yet they have them and we don't complain. They also don't need to hold guns that could just as easily be incorporated into their bodies, and a robot with a space helmet is no sillier than a robot with a sword. There are far sillier things in the TF universe. If we can accept that (G1) Megatron transforms into a small pistol that needs to be held and fired by another robot, then surely we can accept a robot that wears a helmet in space.

Brought to you by CHAiR, the Coalition for Helmet Acceptance in Robots.
Also, I'm totally in for one of these!

Umm... try more like 15-20 dollars. 3rd party stuff don't come cheap

So why is it back to being about LEgends sized here?
Nolonger interested. Don't get me wrong, this is cool and all but damn I'm not a fan of Legends sized figures.

$15-20 would be cheap for 3rd Party...you can only hope it's still that price

He's the same height as RtS Windcharger.

14 cm is about 5.5 inches, which is just about how big he looks in those pics. Spray and Rager are already slightly larger than typical Legends, and UFO is slightly larger than Spray and Rager.

Sorry misread that, they state between 8 and 12 cm, and 12 cm is larger than Scout Windcharger.
And I seriously daubt Rager and Spray are as tall as Windcharger.

If you count his propellers, Spray is similar height to Windcharger. Same deal with UFO...

I was hoping UFO's head would be the same height as Windy, but I suppose that was asking for too much. Still it's leaps better than the legends Cosmos HaTak made, so I'm getting it for my shelf.
