The pictures give us a better look at the car modification parts and what they look like in vehicle mode. We also get a look at the backdrop the set offers for display. We also get a better look at the Charlie figurine who is sporting a Bumblebee logo t-shirt. The photos also reveal an abundance of stickers, allowing you to further customise Bumblebee to your liking.

Carnivius_Prime has also shared their observation that this version of the mold has unpainted feet compared to his first release yet now has yellow paint on the back of his hands.
So far this toy has been found at Target in California, but as they are getting many exclusives for the Bumblebee movie this could be one of them.

I like that they've still kept to the template of having a backdrop for display despite it's odd nature. Question is, will they try and sell this at Voyager price point because of the extra plastic in Charlie plus the car parts

Yeah I do like that backdrop, and it's a bigger one too cos of the box size but yes that does make me worry it'll be voyager priced cos of the size of the package but I'm hoping it'll just be a lil bit more than a standard Deluxe or perhaps somewhere in-between. Not gonna worry til it's out. I got my orders of Ironhide and VW Bee to look forward to anyways.

Leave it mint. This release kinda reminds me of those "Pimp My Ride"-type shows, turning a rust-bucket into a one-of-a-kind souped up vehicle.

Just in time for it to be custom faded in the first movie

It is? I think I missed that in Carnivus' post - or is there a Target sticker or something on the package I can't see?

Thats whats great about the internet, connecting us all. Yes, it was found at a california target and the pics ended up across the internet, including a foreign TF group (which is the most popular TF group on FB).
And to answer an earlier question, we are not 100% sure its a target exclusive. But it looks like an exclusive (being a special version of a previously released toy) and its at target which is getting all the Bee Movie exclusives. So I just connected the dots.

There is no "Only at Target" sticker on the box, so that does make me wonder.

It's speculation on the unusual box shape that doesn't fit the mass retail releases.

As I've said in a previous post, I'm hopeful that this may turn up at a tesco for us brits but I'm aware of how much of a long shot it is.

None of the Tescos near me even sell much in the way of Transformers. One of them got those half-assed Cyberverse scouts that barely transform and that's about all they have on their shelves.

The local asda no longer stocks any tfs though it might get some in to support the bumblebee movie, I just worry that we'll get stuck with less and less places to buy stuff from in personWith only a handful of nationwide toyshops are UK tf fans doomed to become online only? Especially if we skip out in waves if Studio Series toys.
My local Asda doesn't really sell toys and the Cambridge one barely sells any TF stuff (certainly never seen any Studio figures). I did actually have TLK Hot Rod ordered from the Asda website and delivered for free to my local Asda which was neat. Only store I've seen Studio figures sold in is the Forbidden Planet in Cambridge but it's a small selection (as is their Titans & PotP) and I perhaps should have picked up Brawl there while I had him in hand. It's a bit much for my anxiety to do the bus ride to cambridge and back (about 3 hours of my day sat on a bus and i hate that) but at least it's free cos i have a health-related bus pass thing.

There's a Sainsburys the other direction in Ely which i was in on Saturday which actually had some TLK stuff in. W3 Bumblebee, Drift, Slug, Sqweeks and Barricade half price for £12.50 each and Voyager Hound (which I had hoped was half price too but nope) for £33 but no Studio. I don't think The Entertainer in Cambridge has Studio either (has TLK and PotP last I looked) so guess it's mainly specialist shops like Forbidden Planet that tend to do it here. So no idea who'll release that customisable Bee set in UK. As you mention probably have to go online with Kapow or something. Which is fine.

Yeah back in 2007 and 2008 where I lived back then was right near one of those small Tesco Direct convienence stores and while far too small to sell any mainline figures they did sell movie Legends class figures (back when Legends cost only £2.99) and i often bought one along with my milk and bread and such.

Minor correction, so that we are all on the same page going forward, we should not lump EB games and Gamestop together automatically.
EB Games exists in Canada and Gamestop exists in the US and they act as independent retailers attached to a different nation.
So since an exclusive is given to one retailer in the nation, it could be that it is given to EB Games in Canada and not to Gamestop in the US.
This is a good example. IF this is an exclusive, and we see that its available at target, then Gamestop in the US will not have it, just Target. BUT because there are no targets in Canada, EB Games could pick up this exclusive, which is what they have done for many target exclusives in Canada. Its probably what they will do with that Target Exclusive Soundwave we are getting.
However if there is a figure that is exclusive to Gamestop in the US (like Marvel Legends Ronan) then its pretty certain that it will be also found exclusively at EB Games in Canada.

ZeroWolf wrote:Thanks for the correction willso either it's an exclusive at target or exclusive at gamestop, EB Games will likely get it anyway.
Yeah, thats the way things are these days. Unlike what people may think, the US still has way more retailers (both online and brick and mortar) selling Transformers and capable of getting exclusives than Canada does.
Canada just has TRU, Walmart, EB Games and Amazon (which is a shadow of its US counterpart to the poit where we just roder from the US version anyways).
Funny thing, we do have another store which has had transformers exclusives in the past, but its not a toy store. Its a home and hardware store called Canadian Tire

I kid, still seems like you've got more options than what we've got in the UK, at least you get cheaper postage from the states

Yeah, we are luckier than you guys for sure, but i think most in terms of prices (and sales). Postage from the US is not as good as you think though, USPS (and e-bay) considers Canada an international country (which is not incorrect) and we get similar rates. It costs as much to ship stuff from japan to Canada than the US to Canada. Which is why I have only ever ordered from BBTS once in my life.

Since a theme of the set is customization, I think I’ll give him his first AOE colour scheme.

I customised mine a bit anyways with some extra paint and also snipped the roof rack thing so it folds neatly with the roof so doesn't drape down behind him in robot form cos that looked ugly and I dunno why Hasbro didn't snip it themselves.
So yeah the new one's definitely on my 'if i come across it real cheap and feel like being a completionist' list.

I'm tempted to get at least one Shadow Raider just to have him as Lockdown's troop guy like they were in the film. Obviously they look totally different in the film other than having the masked head look but the toy works as them reformatting to have alt-modes like their leader. Works for me anyways. I just convincing myself cos it turns out i really like that orange and black look on the shadow raiders and the green masked head.

Not quite his body type but eh it works for the sake of the toy.

I feel like some of the TLK stuff goes pretty well.
Voyager TLK Optimus, Megatron, Hound, and Nitro Zeus
MB Warhammer Bumblebee
Premier Berserker
I also went ahead and put Leader Jetfire in the mix. He was too small before, but for this line, he seems just right at least in robot mode.

Honestly, I find most of the new mold TLK figures fit in quite well with Studio Series. You can tell they were already on an upswing in quality after the low of the AOE toys.

Not home at moment so I may forget some but currently I have some TLK toys like the ones you mention Voyager Megatron, Prime, Wave 3 Bee (with a third party hammer), TLK (and DotM) Barricade, Berserker and Cogman and also I have AoE Drift and the second AoE Bumblebee and Evasion Prime, and a Revenge Optimus Prime (for any time Studio Prime looks too small, though Revenge annoys me with his more limited posability among other things), and RotF Bludgeon.
Oh and Legends class Ravage cos he's awesome and way more scale accurate than the Deluxe.

The Last Knight figures seem to be almost a "preview" of the studio series. Some may lack a bit in paint apps (but then again, some studio series figures do too), but the attention to detail in sculpt and size is there. Most of the Deluxe and Voyager TLK figures seem to fit perfectly in terms of aesthetic and size with the Studio Series so far. There are a few cases where I still prefer the Age of Extinction versions of some characters, like Crosshairs and Drift, especially because I have their very well detailed (with paint) Autobots Unite 5-Pack versions. I go back and forth on which Hound I like better, though. The Hasbro Aubobots Unite 5-Pack version of the Movie: The Best version from Takara. Oh, and of course, I still have Movie Advanced Voyager Optimus Prime instead of the Studio Series version displayed, scale be damned. He just looks so much better (though his transformation is nightmarish).
