The figure will likely be scaled to fit in with the rest of the figures in their PP line.

How about making a character that hasn't been made?
Oh well. Onle less expensive 3rd party product to buy. I mean it looks promising, but with two versions of Devestator out there and several minibots that have only been released as Legends figures to get, replacing a great BB toy isn't high on my list.

Is it wrong that I laughed?

You mean a late 60s - 70s VW.

Who let Wheelie on the internet?
Glad I held out on ever adding a BUmblebee to my collection, but you're right saying they've made plenty. This must be aimed at pickier collectors like myself.

No, You mean a late 30s to late 80s (and beyond if you're Mexican) VW Beetle. Designed by Ferdinand Porsche c. 1937 and put into production by the Nazis as the KDF Wagen and still in production in Mexico (due to it's popularity as a taxi!) well past it's death in the US and Europe. I loves the Beetle (hence the knowledge) and would love a seriously accurate Classics sized one, this could actually force me into dropping some third party cash if it looks good in the plastic flesh. Gimme Gimme Gimme!

Thanks to Quantum Reflex for the heads up!

That's an interesting take on Cliffjumper, and a unique decision to not cash in on the obvious repaint they could've done.
I really don't mind the repaints if they utilize a few different features or add-ons to further separate the two. But I'm still excited to find out if we actually get iGear's Ironhide/Ratchet by the end of the year. Or even when the mini-bots will start getting released.

Agreed. If they pull all of these sets off, and well done, my hats off to them.

I will buy this in a heartbeat. And if it's good, it will trump every other BB in my collection (until they make a deluxe or scout scale version, hint hint). Bring it on, iGear!

Gandalf wrote:I can't believe so many are saying there are too many Bumblebees already, and that there is no need for this one. I respect your opinions, but I'm shocked. This isn't just another random Bumblebee, it isn't just another redeco or barely tweaked mold. It isn't a Camaro or a generic small car. This is Generation 1 Bumblebee. A Volkswagen! There hasn't been a toy of this for 22 years (well, 18 if you count G2). And most likely there will never be an official version from Hasbro.

I agree.

Now they've posted the teaser image of the remolded Cliffjumper feet mirrored below:

That said, this BB and CJ look very nice indeed, not 100 quid nice like what iGear will want for them but still nice.
