Every BotCon can be great ... it's what you make of it. I think my personal favorite is still 2008 in Cincinnati.

Edit: Also finished listening to the Podcast, was interesting to hear Jon talk about his experiences at the convention, but it really felt like the other members of the podcast were left out of the conversation.
I don't think I remember Counterpunch saying another word after the halfway mark.
Like I said, great to hear what Jon and Ryan had to say, but slow down a bit to let the other 3 or 4 people get a word in.

I need to get to a Botcon soon. I've never been. Should start making plans for the 30th anniversary.

You guys got to meet me and vice-versa.
I LOVED that "Anything You Can Do, Me Can Do Better" song! The next day after the G1 voice actor panel, I walked up to Gregg Berger and sang David Kay's lines of the first verse in my Grimlock voice to his Grimlock voice. He got a real kick out of it.
Ernie Hudson's the Ghostbusters guy who voices Fowler.
Wally Burr and the guy who voiced Daniel were there?! Oh, man! Now I really wish I had been able to go to that panel!
The Rescue Bots each have their own unique transformation feature? That's actually a pretty ingenious concept for a line like that! I can honestly say that that is an impressive design concept for a preschool TF line.
David Warner for Shockwave! David Warner for Shockwave! MAKE IT HAPPEN!
Erector (or rather Cragun) did appear in one piece of fiction: Zone story page 3, in which he barely even does anything.
As for what we saw of Erector in his video, we saw a G2 Erector, a Beast Wars Erector, an Animated Erector (different from the real one seen in the comic), a Movie Erector, an Erector-style All Hail Megatron cover, and a Prime Erector. All hilarious fakes.
I would have thought the poll was rigged had Grimlock won, since Gregg Berger showed up to this year's convention just like how Scott McNeil showed up last year when Dinobot won.
What? Reveal the Shield Optimus Prime upgrade kit? I must have forgotten about this or something cuz I can't recall hearing about this. Anybody got a link to the pics?

Yeah, I knew Hudson's name... just couldn't think of it at the time. And David Warner for Shockwave INDEED.

It was great meeting you again, enclinedesigns. Hope to see you around Seibertron.com some more. I've got some things I'd like to show you with our Transtopia section that needs some love ... maybe you're the right guy to help me get it going again, or can at least give me some ideas about how to improve it. Here's to making the Transformers online community an even better place for fans!

It is awesome to hear jON3.0 had a great time with the voice actors. I can totally relate about wishing you could multiply yourself just to be able to do, see, and hang out with everyone at once. That itself was exhausting.
It was sad that so many of our Seibertron friends could not be there and the ones who attended were all scattered around. It was still a lot of fun. Here's looking forward to Botcon 2012.

I think those were the 2007 shirts.
Yea, now that I think on it they are. Hell, they may actually be from 2006 and I got a left over one in 07.
