This just in from Teletran-1: New detailed video views with transformations of Springer, Refraktor, Brunt, Red Alert, and Galaxy Upgrade Optimus Prime! Thanks to Hasbro.com we have some new videos showing the transformations of each of the next wave of Transformers War for Cybertron: Seige figures. These versions will hopefully be representative of the final product, and given the debate over Red Alert's colors and detailing this might answer some of those questions. These provide clearer looks at Red Alerts rifle/axe functionality and Springer's weapons and how his sword works. Do any of the videos cement your need for these or do they change your opinion for the negative? Is your Trypticon technically complete without Brunt? Take a view and share your thoughts with the Seibertron crew.

Now Red Alert's light bar looks to be a very dark red. I think how it appears, whether black, red, or somewhere in between, is going to depend entirely on the lighting in the room. That's kind of a shame, honestly. I wish they'd gone with clear plastic instead, even for the alt mode dome. It would have looked better all around, IMO.

Springer looks great, and his transformations look fun. The color of his legs looks a little more gray than blue now, but that blue seems to just pop out at random times. I think it depends again on the lighting angle and the contrast around it.

On Springer, it looks like there might be a spot where the copter blade holder might be stored under the hood of the car mode. Here's to hoping the Hasbro designer really thought that through. The back end hatch looks pretty hollow. maybe there? JUst hope that part has a spot to be while in car mode. the blades can easily store on the sides of the engine hatch.

I genuinely understand where some of the dislike for Galaxy Upgrade comes from but I have the classic version and this new version and the new version wins, hands down. Lights and sounds and firing missiles? Wheels on the trailer that are actual wheels? I get why the old one has love for it but the new Galaxy version is better in just about every way. More poseable, better scaled to the rest of its own body parts for crying out loud, and it doesn't have as much of a penchant for collapsing in on itself like a Unicron black hole. I don't think I'd be inclined to even post anything if he wasn't just so fun to pick up and play with in all of his modes it all fits together super well, on mine at least.

I just had to throw some Galaxy Upgrade love out there :-D

Just got myself a couple of wave 2 siege figures and was tired and was trying to check out the instructions... they got worse. Really hard to see what’s going on... so was wondering why they don’t just add video instructions on their site at this point... and this seems to be akin to that. No Refraktor combined mode tho.

Soo, yeah. I'm pretty sure you already news'd it as showung up in Dayton, but I can confirm Brunt is in the wild. Nabbed him at a Meijer un Bargersville/Greenwood, IN. Nice figure, lots of fun. Still not a fan of the Weaponizers but its bice to have a Deluxe fugure to go with the Full Tilt that came with Trypticon. (Looking at you, Deluxe Sixgun and Legends Scamper...

So, kinda late, i know, but i got lionizer today. Feels like he could help drift a bit as mine missing all his sword. Not bad, but i feel like his official transformation looks a bit busy.

So i tried to rearrange his leg a little bit. I think it looks better now as a sword.

Agree with that, Is so strange they say with 3 Refraktor you can do also "this"....but I not showing you "this"! Same for Soundwave...why? Make some videos content inside the Teletraan "game" no?

Look there! Up in the sky! It’s a bird! It’s jet! It’s the Autobot we all want to get! It’s Jetfire! Courtesy of Dorksidetoysover at TFW2005 we have some lovely clear shots of the Autobot Air Guardian in all his G1-styled glory. A nice treat is the extreme close up of his Autobrand flipping gimmick. We also get to see him in both armored and unarmored modes, including an up close shot of his face with and without his helmet. Take a view and share your thoughts with the Seibertron crew. This is one hot item fans of old and new will no doubt be clamoring for.

Well Siegefire is looking mighty nice. The silver on the guns is great ;)^

Guess I need to commit $80 to a pre-order :ic$:

God $80 that's such a kick in the wallet, yowch. It looks like an excellent toy and I mean the closest to an official MP Jetfire that you could get - again, official. That's just so much money I think I'll have to devote to Omega Supreme. Is anyone planning on getting both Jetfire and Omega? Or are you like me and it's either one or the other?

I guess they couldn't decide on how the mask should look. In the first renders it looked like it did here, but the prototypes at WonFest and Toy Fair had extra unpainted blue bits.

Jetfire looks so good, and I hear rumours that Symths in the UK may be stocking him :? Can't wait to see what other characters can be put in this class, Tidal Wave anyone?

Also Stargrave I respectfully disagree about Galaxy Upgrade, for me I find the original to still be better in almost every way... Plus you can't use leobreaker (and all repaints) on Galaxy Upgrade ;)

If anyone wants to pay less, just wait a bit for Black Friday. Both he and Omega are ripe for the kind of big ticket item Amazon and other web based sites like to discount to bring in crowds. I can't remember a year where that didnt happen. Paying full price for these bigger mass market items is basically just a tax for getting the toys when they come out early. Hasbro is well aware of this price cycle or else the same thing wouldn't be happening every year and they would not still be making big bots like this (let alone 2 in one year).

Well, he may fit within an MP collection depending on the specific episode you are adhering his scale to ;)

I've actually collected very few figures from this Siege Line, so getting both Jetfire and Omega Supreme are in the plan for me. As others have mentioned, I'll definitely wait for both to go on some sort of sale. There's still a few leftovers from the Japanese Legends line I want to get first before they become scarce.

I'm personally getting Omega but not Jetfire. I have my perfect Jetfire in the Thrilling 30 one, and I am not a fan of the Skyfire aesthetic.

I mean yeah true, the G1 and Thrilling 30 toys are pretty great, but this one just is THE Jetfire toy I didn’t know I’ve always been waiting for. Now all I need is a Siege Galvatron and I’d be content.

Oooo Siege Galvatron would be Sweet! I’d love to see new Cyclonus too, something a little more streamlined than the Combiner version.

And yes Galaxy Upgrade does not combine with Leobreaker, that’s true....and it’s kind of a hot mess when he does I love him I love him but gorilla fists or lion tippy toe claw hand that isn’t, well, really a hand doesn’t win out for me. If he didn’t have ogre fist if he didn’t look like he was on stilts if he didn’t flippyfloppy all over my deskytoppy I’d be ready to agree with you.
Plus I’m probably just biased to the new shiny object I totally get like that.

And those aren’t wheels on his trailer we all know stationary non-rolling wheels are obviously galvaconductors

Springer was the only bot from the animated movie that didn't show up in Prime Wars. I don't think we're due for new versions of the others very soon. Of course, WfC will be running for two more years, so who knows where it will take us before it's done.

I feel all the Siege prices should be at 75% of what they are selling at. Or line up with the studio series prices. $50 on Ultra Magnus was a must for me because I have been waiting for this G1 update my whole life, and though I don't regret it, it still seems overpriced. I have no real attachment to G1 Jetfire, but by golly he just looks so amazing I'm going to have to get him and Omega Supreme. I'll just have to sell my unopened Combiner Wars Protectobots and Aeriolbots to do it.

That’s another good point I didn’t notice. We can only hope, since the best Galvatron toy out right now is the Titans Return one, and that’s not saying much. I think a Siege Galvatron would work really well with this line’s emphasis on laser blasts, damage effects, and hyper detailing. Also the head might actually look right for once.

You’re probably right, given the whole “pre-war” focus. It makes you wonder what the next two “themes” will be after Siege. I know the line is called War for Cybertron, but will we be seeing an Earth themed line next, or a continuation of the “Cybertronian mode” motif? Who knows.

This is just me, but I’m still waiting for the resurgence of Pretenders. Not those half-assed, lowest-price point Power of the Primes figures, but proper pretenders. There’s a lot of character potential, double pretenders, vehicle pretenders, the likes.

I personally think we could see a "time skip" from pre-Earth Cybertron to Rebirth Cybertron for the next part of the trilogy and then maybe an odd mix of the two Cybertrons for the last one if the Prine Wars trilogy is anything to go by with them combining the previous two line's gimmicks for the last one

Lazerbeak is cool and love that they built forearm notches onto Soundwave so 'beak can perch easily.

Ravage is.... bad... it's bad figure. He's going to live in cassette form in SW's chest.

While that is true in general. In some locations, Walmart for instance, SS Deluxe are retailing at a normal lower price of $17.96, as opposed to Generations $19.96, thus a possible reason for noting a discrepancy.

That's just Walmart taking a hit on a toyline they bought more of. I think Epsilon was more referring to the idea that the leaders in the SS line were more in line with their definition of what a leader should be.

Honestly I'm not entirely sure if Galvatron could ever register as a 'high priority' for Hasbro. Truth be told, his TR Toy was pretty damn good outside of the horrendous implementation of the titan master and the crown. People give him too much crap, given he's shockingly toon-accurate in spite of being a triple-changer. >:oP

I'd go for a new Galvatron---a better head and a better implementation of the arm cannon would be great.

I doubt that it would happen but I think it would be kind of cool if the current trend of "voyager with armor" leaders continued to a new Galvatron. Either in a Shockwave capacity or with a Magnus twist with Megatron getting armor from Unicron and becoming Galvatron. Obviously if they went with the Megatron evolving, the base Megatron would need to basically be Galvatron with a new cannon, crown, and boots being the armor to fully turn him

If we get a new Galvatron I'd love to see those concepts/ideas (somehow!) reused:

From Dengeki Hobby, we have some great new photos of Transformers War for Cybertron: Siege SG-36 Deluxe Class Impactor. If you don't recall, this is our fan vote winner from the War for Cybertron Trilogy, along with Mirage, who unfortunately has no Takara Tomy photos as of late. We also have included images of SG-37 Leader Class Galaxy Upgrade Optimus Prime, though he has already made it to US toy shelves, or will very soon. Do these new images shed new light on these figures for you? We hope so, and tell us your thoughts in the Pub forums below!

Impactor is... Looking better and also slightly worse? I'm starting to like the boxiness and general design, but the colors are iffy. The yellow is too yellow and the purple is too dark for my tastes. And wasn't he originally supposed to be a Decepticon in the fan vote?
