The other big piece of news is we now have a pre-order month for Runabout and Shattered Glass Drift. This marks our earliest release yet, as these will be available to all Club members for pre-order purchase starting in January, 2012 with an anticipated ship date of early March. If you were thinking of waiting to sign up at the March 16th* deadline to get these, you probably shouldn't! We expect these two club exclusives to go fast so if you need to join or renew, do it today!
*Note: Anyone who DOES sign up by March 16th WILL get the FREE 2012 Runamuck figure. That is guaranteed. To be able to purchase Runabout and Drift, we suggest being a member no later than Jan 1st.
They have also posted details and the cover for issue #42 of the Club magazine featuring Transformers Prime Wheeljack, visit their homepage to view the full sized image.
This is just the tip of the magazine iceberg as Issue 42 also has a great interview with the voice of G1 Tracks and Cosmos, Michael McConnohie, two all new MTMTE profiles, a retrospective article by Jim Sorenson and the finale to the 2011 Comic storyline "Battle Lines." A couple crazy twists has changed what you thought about this G1 story-line forever!

Actually this set is pretty awesome. The Turbo Tracks mold worked great for Tracks and Wheeljack, but looks fantastic with Runamuck and Runabout. The Drift mold is good, too. The colors on SG Drift work really well to my eyes.

Not sure how they can do a Botcon in June when they have Joecon scheduled for late June in The Big Easy.
Good to know, but really it's 'not-news'.

IMHO,this looks awful in red,the superior colors are the retail stores drift & blurr colors.
I'm not a fan of runabout & runamuck using a deluxe mold. this seems wrong, they should be using basic sized toys because their 1980's toys were really small. worst offense is funpub using the wheeljack & tracks generations molds for runamuck & runabout. What's next will funpub use the energon arcee mold, recolor it & call it wreckgar.

What? They have Joecon already scheduled? Officially? Who gives a crap about Joe? Kidding. But what the F? why can they have one announced and not the other?

1) That Botcon figures won't be ready by March
2) Given what I recall from past TFCC panels, it's far too hectic in their office to get the preorder figs edealtwith at the same time as handle the convention figs. I think this could hint at a later convention this year.

Dude seriously! People need time to schedule work and pets and kids or whatever. I need time to adjust the budget for a spending spree. It really bothers me. Funpub doesn't care if people can make it or not. They know they are going to have a kick A turnout. "So what if a few people can't make it because we waited too long to announce the dates?"
End Rant.
