I picked him up 2 days ago from Walmart in Dyersburg, TN for $39. He wasn't even in the system yet.

A few months later, I sold it for the same price I paid so that was not a loss. Some years later and the Titant Returns version come out. I was hoping for a modern take on the figure like they did for Ultra Magnus... Instead, it's the exact same thing as the G1 but with better articulations. Exactly what most fans wanted, obviously, but it was a clear pass for me.

What I really don't like about 6shot is you have only 2 modes that are great. The bot and the spaceship. All the other modes are just afterthoughts. Same thing with RiD dragon Megatron. I also sold him for the same reason.

Overquoting to say that ironically, I tried making a pseudo-6shot-Megatron custom... It failed horribly. I never painted it and he went back into the junk pile, never to be featured in my "lab" (see signature below). If you are curious, look at that garbage HERE.

Well, those who have done this are complete moron because it's not worth it at all to do so. Especially after all the time and effort it take to build a reputation. For the record, I deal a LOT on Ebay. I have a feedback of 528. I only had trouble with sellers 2 or 3 times over 10 years. Ebay is secure asfak.

By comparison, half of the time I deal with people (with one or two posts to their name) on the BST forum on Seibertron, they genuinly try to scam me. Fortunately, Paypal got my back every times but my money is frozen for weeks every times. So I don't bother anymore.

He had good reason. Cary, Will, and I all had that happen back in November with an Iron Maiden listing. Same exact thing too: perfect feedback, lots of feedback, mailed out, seller disappeared, no one got anything

I received that message once. I think it was for a KO Ratbat, but I don't remember if the seller's rating was high or not. The thing is I didn't get the message until after it was shipped and I had a tracking #. Lucky for me the item came with no issues.

Same thing just happened to me with a Takara Legends Blurr. I'm still giving a cooler of weeks before I make my PP claim to get my 20 bones back.

Oh I hear ya. I also understand why they do it though. A store will move a lot more volume with a sale written like this, than just a 25% discount, because the average shoper is a bit dense once they walk into a store.

Amazon is really too far ahead of themselves. Some of these still haven't had their first issue come out yet, and they won't arrive until November or December in some cases

Thanks to a picture from Steve Robinson of the UK, we have news that Smyths in the UK is selling off its Combiner Wars stock by offering some large discounts! In the image shown, Combiner Wars Battle Core Optimus Prime, Silverbolt, Hot Spot, and Scattershot can be seen, all discounted to £10. Also seen are a Titans Return Megatron and Optimus Prime, knocked down to £18.99, and even some Robots in Disguise guys on the bottom for the same price as Megatron. While we do not know how wide this sale is, if you live in the UK, you should go check out your local Smyths and tell us what you find!

It's the same in Ireland. Scattershot and Onslaught are 10 euro each.
Megatron and Laser Prime are down to 25 euro.

Computron very quickly went from 85 to 50 euro. If the 6 robots had been sold individually at the usual prices, they would have cost 130 euro so that's quite a bargain.

Skywarp went from 70 euro to 25 euro. My nephew got a nice present for his 5th birthday with that a few weeks ago.

Most of these I saw in Smyths. I saw Skywarp go for the above in both Smyths and Ken Blacks.

Quite a few bargains out there.

I just saved 20% on HasbroToyShop by signing up with my email address again, even though I already receive their emails. I ordered just about everything new that was on their website (including RID Combiner Force Legion Class Blurr and the new Rescue Bots). I saved about $50 and got free shipping on a $270 order. Movie deluxes came out to about 15.99 and Voyagers at 24.99, which is much more reasonable. Wish I had thought of HTS before ordering a couple of items on Amazon earlier.
