To be released in April in Japan under the name: SoftBank 815T PB., the phone is set to be featured in an upcoming Japanese TV drama called Ketai Sousakan 7.
The phone really transforms, and even has robotic face like wallpapers to add to the effect.

Cool, but pass anyway. Just because they had a cell phone become a transformer thanks to the all spark in the movie doesn't mean they literally had to go out and make one. Besides...wasn't that what the real gear was for?

Cool concept, but the bot modes sure look like shit.

I can't see me realisticly getting one though.
However they are a step in a good direction. Just maybe nest time try putting some effort into it. If they split up the keypad, I can't see why my Razor couldn't fit into SpeedDial's body?

Technically, the same could be said about Musiclabel Soundwave, except Soundwave looks freakin' sweet.

It's either they put some use into them, (like a swiss-knife kind of thing of some sort), or they design the robot to go beyond kindergarten level.
Otherwise, it's not gonna attract any substantial number of buyers.

Says you. It's clearly not marketed for the U.S. shores. Japanese culture will eat that ish up and ask for seconds.

I don't know i'd be curious as well. I would hope not though. Extra limbs would'nt justify an insane price increase.

Take 2 phones, black and white. And pose them punching each other. Like in a boxing ring.

You can use that as your ringtone.

Granted these are crappy, but sometimes crappy works!
These are the B-Move Camp items of this generation, and a prelude to a real phone that can actualy walk up to you when you get a call and are in the other room.
I agree they could have done better, but still they are to hoaky not to like

I would actually get a cellphone if one transformed.

One of the legs may accidentally fall out and kick your face during an important business call.

My own cell phone has the G1 "transformation" sound as a ring-tone (amongst other G1 stuff, like Prime speaking)and the Autobot logo for wallpaper, so imagine the fun of that on an actual transforming phone.
