If you thought we saw the last of the Generation One Elite Guard in Botcon 2009, you've thought wrong! Young Kup and the rest of his crew are back for more daring adventures. The Transformers Collectors' Club have updated their website with a little preview of the 2010 Comic that will continue off of what 'Wings of Honor' established. Check out the action with a bit of the preview below....

With only one day left to get the FREE membership figure, we are thrilled to give fans an inside look at the this years comic, appearing in each issue of the Club Magazine. "The Coming Storm" is a 36-page story, told in 6 page installments throughout 2010, that follows the adventures of the Generation 1 Elite Guard. The story takes place approximately 10 years after the events of Transformers Timelines Issue 4: "Wings of Honor

This confirms what I suspected before: we're going to be getting more new versions of European- and Japanese-exclusive G1 TFs. Which, in and of itself, is still pretty dang cool...I want to see who they tap to be Clench.

Aside from Ironfist (who looks like he could loosely based off of Universe Hound), it looks pretty much like this year's initial cast are all characters we've seen before: the Botcon '09 Elite Guard team, Dion, Metalhawk, and Over-Run...

No, that's just what Ironfist looks like. It's his original G2 toy. Over-Run is based on the Energon Bulkhead model, but with his original Action Master vehicle.
The Buzzclaw redecos seems to be Insections/Virulant Clones.
