We interrupt this Earth Wars event update to also bring you a new trailer for the game, featuring Bruticus, Optimus Maximus, and the Dinobots! Check it out, then continue on to your regularly scheduled event update.

Megatron and the other Decepticons have arrived at the abandoned Decepticonoutpost where preparations for Slog’s betrayal are nearly complete!

Meanwhile, the Dinobots are on their way to rescue Slog!

We're always looking for ways to improve our events and based on player feedback we've made some changes to our upcoming leaderboard event.

This time round, we've tried to make the event enjoyable for a wider number of players, with the top leaderboard prizes being available to more alliances than before.

Additionally, we have enhancements in the works for future leaderboard events to encourage players to remain in one alliance during the war. This will result in the top 40 player's Battle Points contributing towards the total.

New Characters
Experienced fighters who are ready for battle, Kup and Dead End arrive in Transformers: Earth Wars next week! Get your first look at the new bots with their community voted ability Orbital Bounce!

Kup has been there, done that, got the T-shirt. There's almost nothing this veteran warhorse hasn't seen or experienced - so when it comes to swapping stories his fellow Autobots don't even try to compete.

Gruff and grizzled, Kup is forever waxing nostalgic about this battle or that narrow escape. Even if only half of his stories are true, it's still a packed life he's lived. One thing's for sure - he's a born survivor.

Despite his dreary, fatalistic certainty that the big shutdown is all that awaits them, Dead End spends more time than any 'bot this side of Sunstreaker making sure he looks his bright shiny best.

The "best-looking wreck in the auto junkyard" as Stunticon boss Motormaster likes to say.

Nevertheless, Dead End still fights with grim and committed intensity, perhaps determined to take as many Autobots with him as possible.

Orbital Bounce - To battle! Teleport to a target location and gain 70% damage reductionand immunity to slows and stuns.

Although they did fix Sideswipe's head later on, and I'd say say Dead End's looks okay.

On another note, it looks like that unconfirmed edit on the Wiki was right about Dead End!

I stopped playing this game when I got kicked out of mu Alliance on a day I left my phone at home, and couldn't battle for ten hours one day at work. If you're not part of an alliance, it's virtually impossible to rank yourself up.

Renegade’s Crystal contains the chance to win a 2, 3 or 4-Star Drift or Barricade, 100 4-Star Shards, 100 3-Star Shards, Incendiary Barrage Mk 3 Battle Boost or Force Field Mk3 Battle Boost.

A warrior-born, Drift abandoned his former ruthless ways, exchanged his guns for swords, and became a crusader for justice – albeit his own brand of rough justice. Because of Drift’s shady past, his new Autobot allies are slow to trust him and despite his loner attitude.

Drift suffers in isolation, but never stops trying to prove his worth, and trustworthiness. His Great Sword draws on his own Spark energy.

Barricade has something of a motor-mouth, and whether it’s smashing through an Autobot roadblock or hunting down his quarry, he never misses a chance to taunt, criticize or demoralize his hapless victim(s).Even his fellow Decepticons, up to and including Megatron, aren’t safe from Barricade’s verbal barrage. But luckily for Barricade, Megatron understands the tactic is designed to

The Multiverse Saga continues with its penultimate entry, and Starscream has dispatched Hun-Gurrr to sabotage Barricade’s mission in an attempt to recruit new found Decepticons for his own ends!

When using Frantic Rage & Righteous Rage for Optimus Maximus &Bruticus instead of moving to the selected target, they instead target the closest structure:

Sometimes, bots will get stuck attacking walls instead of moving to another target.

We have had several reports of the Space Bridge not being hit by Orbital Strike, this seems to have been an issue with the active radius of the Space Bridge.

Who are the Quintessons?

Here's a great description from the Transformers Wiki to get you up to speed:

The Quintessons are a bizarre and ancient race, whose dark history and shadowy machinations are bound up with the history of the Transformers, with connections to both Primus and Unicron. They are known galaxy-wide as traders, entrepreneurs and businessmen, but their dealings are very rarely on the level, often laced with intrigue and betrayals.

They prefer subtle manipulation, scheming, and advanced technology over brute force, but if those don't work, they can fall back on the legion of deadly Sharkticons and Allicons at their command and a fleet of battle-ready spaceships as well. However, the Quintessons themselves have zero fighting abilities and are absolute cowards if they have nothing to hide behind. For example, they are seen to be powerless against a Sharkticon revolt.

Under Investigation

Here are some of the issues reported that we've been investigating:

We're looking into this one, and improvements will be coming in an upcoming build.

Various reports that squads are getting mixed up with other bots or are getting wiped.

We've had reports that Optimus Prime and Megatron's Special Ability is not working as intended.

That Hot Rod design still puzzles me why they had his arm gun exhaust things just droop down like that so they're useless as guns. And also looks a bit like.. I dunno. Other droopy things incapable of shooting... Just looks bad having them hang down below the arms like that.
