Before the release of "Transformers / Last Knight King" on August 4th, as for Camaro likes the place where Bumblebee's career is anxious. And better news before the new release. Transformers masterpiece "MPM - 3 Bumblebee" commemorating the 10th anniversary of the movie will be released from TakaraTomy on July 15th.
This MPM - 3, the world 's topic with the amazingness of making it. As I witnessed the appearance of the standing Bumblebee, I do not think that this is assembled with the parts built into the Camaro scale model.
"This January, when real items were announced in Hong Kong in the world premiere, it was a pleasure from the fans around the world that I was happy." Transformers designer Hiroya Onishi . In the United States, Hasbro Inc., a toy maker based in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, holds a license for Transformers. In that connection, Mr. Onishi has visited Hasbro headquarters in the US East Coast several times. When entering the United States, passport control declared "Transformers designer" about occupation, and was also deeply impressed by the officer. It is not uncommon to be asked for a sign when participating in an event held in the United States. Even in Hong Kong, again. Transformers designers are very popular worldwide.
"To faithfully reproduce the image in the play is a mast, it is a masterpiece movie that requires a high degree of completeness as a transformer toy, so I bothered as much as I could breath, and the overseas fans got a weight There was a strong desire to be sensitive to marketing and to have a strong sense of weight. It was severe in terms of cost but this time we adopt die cast parts everywhere to give weight And I made the deformation difficulty degree a setting of 8 years old up.When I touched the transformer toy for the first time, I designed it so that you can enjoy the deformation easily by getting used. "... It will fit properly in the Camaro form It is terrible because it is. If you ask Mr. Onishi, he sometimes aimed for a car designer. "Actually, our company President Toyama was riding in Camaro's Transformers specification limited car released in 2010, and I have also tried it.It is very prominent in Bumblebee color, but also unique to the cockpit There is a view of the world, driving is fun "
The MPM-3, manufacturer's recommended retail price setting is 10,000 yen (tax excluded). It is a one-make product to be released under the TAKARATOMY brand logo as a universal specification, but although it had significant cost constraints, from the quality it can be said that it is reasonable. Bumblebee is a dream function carried by Camaro. That dream was very realistically reproduced and molded. It is wonderful that Mr. Onishi who likes cars designed it by driving Camaro. Whenever a new work of a movie transformer is made public, "Bamblebee is Speaking of Camaro", it is no longer promised. Mr. Onishi keeps his promise as a designer.
Also, at the dealer caravan event "Chevrolet Camaro Preview Tour 2017", the Transformers Specification (5th generation) Camaro owned by Takara Tomy and the Bumblebee statue exceeding 2 m in height are also on display. The future will be Chevrolet North Osaka (Minoh City, Osaka Prefecture) on June 24 and 25, Chevrolet Kasugai (Aichi Prefecture Kasugai City) on July 8th and 9th, Chevrolet Tokyo on August 19th and 20th (Tokyo Metropolitan Port Ward) and a caravan. Please check the power and precision of Bumblebee, and the profound charm of Chevrolet Camaro on this occasion.
Yuya Onishi (Oyunshi Yuya) Born in Higashi Osaka city in 1984, "City of Manufacturing". He is in charge of research and development of next-generation devices at the Panasonic Group. Joined Takara Tomy in 2011. In charge of planning and development of transformers overseas with mechanical engineering, car design / product design as backbone. Coauthored book "Monodzukuri 2.0 Makers' Movement in Japan" (Kadokawa Shoten).

First impressions:
The box and packaging are very cheap. Only a single plastic tray on the inside, and the figure is held in place with plastic ties. No second clam shell for protection when you store it. For the price, higher than other MP cars, this seems like a very cheap move.
The different plastics have slightly different shades of yellow. Very noticeable in car mode.
One complaint I had, can be erased. The figure comes packaged in car mode, with the doors open. When you take it out, you naturally want to close the doors. You will find that things don't tab right, and the car mode is loose and floppy. This is because something is done wrong on the inside. After playing with Bee for a day, and transforming it several times, I can tell you the car tabs together just fine, and holds together tightly.
Car mode does look very good. It even has a place underneath to store the "gun", though this is not in the instructions. Also, the instructions are the crappy Hasbro variety, not the nice detailed ones that usually come with a Takara MP, though this was expected.
Bot mode is very highly detailed. Looks amazing. Mine, however, suffers from very weak joints in the feet/ankles and shoulders. He is very back heavy, and while he will hold certain poses, the ankle joins will fail if you bump the table, or walk to heavily in the room. Again, you expect more from an MP.
Also, his door 'wings' do not tab in. They are very loose and easy to move. Anytime you pick this guy up, you will have to adjust them.
These nitpick might sound petty, but this is a very expensive figure, supposedly of high end quality. It does not meet the mark set by any previous MP release.
A nice, even amazing figure in many ways, but not an MP.

Having MP-11 Starscream inflicted PTSD right here...
Paid over 300$CAN for a friggin' imperfect "leader" figure that didn't felt "premium" at all.
Well, let's hope Hasbro will fix these issues in time for the American release.
Then they'll somehow produce a very limited run, poorly distributed, AND price it at 50% off the expected normal price just to be sure it will be insta-scalped.

But the real reason is that I'm currently buying something HUGE from my local seller... I still have 2 to 4 months of payments to make... Yeah, I'm nut.

I dunno Kan... not saying it isn't possible... just saying this one might be hard to call. This isn't MP-08 Bee or YOTM Primal. He's got more going for him than they did. People actually want this figure, he's 100% new, and he's not as (grossly) overpriced as they were.-Kanrabat- wrote:I'll definitely wait for clearance. Because I'm pretty sure plenty will be available and those overpriced items always come on sale sooner than later.
If stock and distribution is limited, I think your wait it out strategy will screw you. He'll absolutely be in demand, at least initially. It'll all depend on how many actually hit shelves.

It's still Bee. It's impossible that there's no hive that will be unleashed at every stores.

Based on mine, and the vast majority of online reports, if you pay full price, you're gonna have the regrets.
Unless you leave it as a display piece only, I guess.
Good luck to you all, though. It really is a beautiful looking figure, it just doesn't hold up.

No, he's not worth that much.
Him however...
99% complete. Just missing one tiny Fastrack gun. 574$CAN with taxes.
I could have one 100% complete for the same overall prise (thus saving around 40$CAN being the price that gun go for) but he's the only one who was willing to take in 174$ in trade as the first payment and setting it aside until I pay the rest by paying 100$CAN minimum monthly.
I had to jump on the occasion. This universal grail had to be mine!
One thing for sure, I will not buy any TF this year at Comiccon.
(BTW, Will, check your inbox!)

Lots has been said about him, mostly negative. Out of the box, he's 90% in car mode and getting him that last 10% of the way is a son of a B! Getting all tabbed in is such a pain, but it can be done, and he does look good once that wizardry is preformed.
The transformation is complex and he pulls off some neat moves. His proportions are perfect, like he came right off the screen of the first movie. And he is the very definition of "pictures don't do it justice". And sorry, my pics do suck . I've heard he can be quite loose, but at least on my copy I have no issue posing him. And damn, can he pose!
I think what I'm most impressed with is his face sculpt, and legs (looks and transformation). Maskless, he looks outstanding. That face sculpt. Mahgawd. But that mask... it doesn't look terrible, but (on my copy at least) is very unstable. Trying to move it into place causes it to snap off almost every time. Anyways... legs! The legs incorporating the wheels is god damn brilliant. Also: diecast. He's got a fair amount. He's weighty and feels good.
But in the end I don't know if I can recommend him since quality seems to vary so much. But I absolutely love him. Thumbs up.

I've got two MPM-3's. One bought from eBay hailing from China (I think), the other locally from TRU. Both are quite similar, but with slight differences. Would you consider the TRU one to be Hasbro US/CA, and the other one to be Hasbro Asia? (pics at bottom of post)
The TakaraTomy releases of these new MPM's are very confusing. Neither TT versions are out yet I think. Bee is showing a release date of this month, and Prime being in September. And we don't know what their boxes look like for sure, whether they'll be the same as the others or completely different. We know the figures themselves will be different, but not the boxes.... right?
And yes, I've seen this pic, but I don't believe it's anything more than a mock up, possibly even unofficial.

However, as you mention, it is currently impossible to know if the Hasbro Asia one will be any different from the Takara one since Hasbro Asia has a knack for distributing Takara's same product in Asia. The box will surely be different though, if at least in terms of there needing to be Japanese writing but your right we cant be sure beyond that.
Does that help at all?

If you have to decide between MPM-3 and MPM-4, my suggestion would be to go with MPM-3 (and I'm not even particularly fond of Camaro Bumbleebee in the first place lol)

Prime will probably be out 9/14.

Apparently the Hasbro version doesn't have any of the yellow paint over some of the yellow parts.
Normally I hate light pipping, but this is a rare case of it being done super well. There isn't much of an inlet on the back of his head, but it lights his eyes up nice and bright like on MP Shockwave. I only wish the eyes were more blue rather than slightly tinted.

Appreciate away!
I should point out that there aren't any stickers on the box and Bee's name is written in Japanese on the front so this isn't a case of them using the Asia box and covering stuff with stickers like we've seen them do in other movie lines.

But I figured it out and I have now transformed him a few more times and its great. No frustration and nothing annoying about it and everything fits properly. It all tabs in well so I dont have any of the problems in that regard. The only thing I would have liked was them to get the alt mode right and have that extra hood exhaust. I am also not sure if this yellow is correct, but the film was all colour filtered so its not easy to replicate.
