Why do you say that?
Yes we NEED a figure of this! Classics/Universe badly needs a Shockwave and this would do nicely!
Celebrate your love of Shockwave by going to youtube and watching 'Shockwave's Burden' by Dr. Smoov if you haven't seen it.

I've never per-ordered a video game before, could you support this statement a little?

The exclusives are usually a code that you can get after the fact. its no more special or secret than a gun cheat in GTA or up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, Select, Start

Gamestop always says "only when you pre-order at Gamestop" for pre-order bonuses, specifically in-game items. I know from experience that this is a lie. They said that the Terminus Armor for Mass Effect 2, and the baseball bat melee weapon for Left 4 Dead 2 were exclusive to them, but you got them even if you pre-ordered off of Steam. They're also saying that with Aliens vs. Predator you get three exclusive skins when you pre-order from them, but, again, you can also get these when you pre-order from Steam.
It may be true for physical objects like figures or keychains, but they can't actually make a piece of coding only work if you pre-order from them.

It's possible that it's a mirrored image, but if not that okay too...
This really looks awesome, but I would also like to have the Transformers Movie Game version of Shockwave made into a toy... remember, he's a triple changer, and totally badass =)

Actually, isn't a little odd for him to have that body, since he never changed his form for earth he should look like he always has.
Not that i care. I just want a new Shockwave toy.

That's not always true. Sorry but it's just not. I preordered Halo 3: ODST and I got a code that lets me play as the legendary Sgt. Johnson. You can't download him. That's the only way to get him. That's just one of many I can think of. Preorder bonuses are sweet and they don't cost you anything so what's the problem?
Don't listen to the lies and miss out on Shockwave people!

The Dem Bones map on Batman Arkham Asylum was a pre-order bonus. You can't get that any other way.

It's not quite a lie. He's probably not available via DLC, no one's denying that. The lie is that it's NOT Gamestop exclusive, there WILL be other stores that offer the same thing. I explained that just because Gamestop says it's exclusive to them, doesn't mean it's true.

As for the pre-order bonus, there have also been a few "exclusives" that later became widely-available over XBLive or PSN. The Penny Arcade "Cardboard Tube Samurai" costume for Yoshimitsu in Tekken 6 was a GameStop "exclusive," but is now available code-free on the networks.
In other words "exclusive" might just mean you get to have it first.

Very nice update of the old character model if I do say so myself.

I've never seen Shockwave before except for his head, but this guy's awesome!
I'll be picking him up with Optimus Prime...

Welcome to the site, hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
And if you're just getting into the hobby and like the appearance of ol' one eye. Then you need to check out his Energon homage http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/toys/energon/shockblast/316/ Definitely worth picking up if you're going to start a colleciton.

HECTOR wrote::-? Here's something to consider about Shockwave. He turns into a big handgun but I've never seen him shrink or used as a gun by someone else. If either of these things have ever happened I've never seen it. All I've ever seen him do is turn into a giant cannon that flies around so I don't think we can get mad if he turns into a flying cannon in the game. Just a thought.
In Transformers G1 cartoons Bruticus used Shockwave as a pistol.

OK cool. I must have missed that. Either way it's highly unlikely that he will turn into a pistol for the game. A player turning their character into an item another player can use . . . . . . . . . . . . . sounds awesome! It seemed really complicated to me before but now that I think about it, why not? It would add whole new strategies, especially in multiplayer! Imagine multiplayer matches where your teammates can BECOME special weapons, turrets, even vehicles like Halo's warthog! I just blew my own mind

For the record, I do not want to become a weapon for someone else. While there would be advantages for the other guy, there would be nothing for ME to do. What am I supposed to do? Pull my own trigger when or IF he aims at someone?
It's a bad idea, and it always was. As Michael Bay said, it would be like Darth Vader turning into his own lightsaber and having someone else swing him around.

Well I meant you would still have a useable alt-mode on top of that. Think of Shockwave, you have your robot mode, your alt-mode as a flying energy cannon but with the option to become useable by another player. My idea is sort of triple-change-ish. It would be a teamwork effort, distributing points between the two. Or larger characters could seat other players while in vehicle mode. That's what I meant because you're right, an alt-mode you can't use is stupid.

But that's still useless. My ally already has a weapon, I don't want to immobilize myself just so he can have another one. I can understand turning into a vehicle to carry around an ally, perhaps so they could provide extra fire, like the gunner and passenger in a Warthog, but turning into a weapon for someone else is a bad idea, even if you have another alt-mode.

What about if it was worth it? Like a turret or an instant kill pistol like Megatron or Shockwave (but with a long recharge so it doesn't get abused).

i don't think it was mirrored. IMO, it looks better the other way.
great figure regardless, i will most definetly be be picking this game up
