Ah, those old Pretenders. Back in February, the galleries of Seibertron.com were graced by their presence. Now customizer aprim's newest creations asks the question, "What if the pretenders were released in 2011?". We've got Groundbreaker, who looks like he's ready to break out the shell and give the Decepticons all they can handle. Check it out below!

Aprim, amazing work. The highest respect. This almost makes me forgive Hasbro for making Pretenders. Except of course they didn't make it--you did.

Its sweet but the thing that allways turned me off to these was the human faces on Robot bodies

Now I would buy this! 
Back in the day I hated the pretenders too. The Decepticon Pretenders where much cooler than the Autobot ones! Some great villains came outta there, BLUDGEON & THUNDERWING

As a kid did i love pretenders, i saw it as 2 toys in one and i used the shells as masters of universe heros:P

Man, I only had one pretender as a kid, and it was indeed Groundbreaker. Never thought I'd see him looking this awesome though. Love it!

I love the use of the Master Grade DOM as the base for this. One of my favorite MS's and a great tribute.
