Greetings Seibertronians! If you thought yesterday's look at the abandoned city mode was the only news about Unicron in the Transformers Generations 2020 book, then we have some news for you!
On the same page, as the aforementioned city mode, you see a photo of the Hot Rod and Galvatron Mini Figures that are included with the crowd funded Unicron and they've been changed since we last saw the mock ups, now looking a lot more like that do in the seminal Transformers the Movie from 1986! Next to the picture is a render of their new design.
You can also see an image comparing the size of Unicron's head to the mini figures.

Earlier today, we posted a video review for Hoist, one of the new Deluxe Class figures in the first wave of the upcoming War for Cybertron Earthrise toy line. Not content with just one review, we're now bring to you another video review, this time for Deluxe Class Ironworks! Brief refresher: Ironworks was the name of a non-transforming Micromaster base in the original G1 toyline. For Earthrise, Ironworks not only gains sentience, but also a pull-apart-to-transform robot mode, much like the Weaponizers of the Siege line. Unlike those figures, though, Ironworks reassembles into his old form as a Micromaster base, rather than weapons and armor. Now, onto the review!
This review comes to us from regular reviewer TonTon who does a great job showing off all the detail on the figure, as well as both his modes. Shout out to Seibertronians Calidus and TFanPage101 for the heads up.
Though the official release date for these figures isn't until March, the combination of figures already being reviewed and past toylines launching before the official date could mean we'll see these figures in the next couple of months, if not weeks. As we said yesterday, the Nezha toys would be revealed today. And indeed, they have, on the Chinese site TMall. We see the Nezha mech which is basically him in giant robot form. The smaller Nezha figure can fit inside. This mold's transformation is based on the Cyberverse Spark Armor Bumblebee toy but with a different look entirely. The toy is 160 Yuan ($24 USD). We also have an image of this toy in its box, which is very similar to the Cyberverse packaging, making this a subline. The in package image comes from INCHIKIBANCYO on Twitter. These toys and show are only intended for Chinese audiences so there is no current plan for a release outside of that country.

Thanks to our very own ScottyP, we have a very interesting bit of artwork to share with you. ScottyP was perusing the Transformers Generations 2020 book this evening, which for the unaware, is an annual book released that contains information on upcoming toys. It also includes some interesting concept art by Emiliano Santalucia. This particular bit shows that the upcoming 2021 War for Cybertron Unicron figure, which was fully crowdfunded in October, had originally been planned to have a third mode, that of a city, which would have made him a triple changer. Also of note, as can be seen in the back of the photo, is the group of TV screens shown in the original animated movie.

Thanks to our old pal Chuckdawg1999, we have a new video review to share with you! Today, Chuck takes a look at the final figure from the Siege line, Leader Class Astrotrain. While previous figures have transformed into a shuttle and train, this is the first version of the character to transform into his original G1 locomotive mode, rather than a bullet train or a Cybertronian train. While Astrotrain is being sold at the Leader Class price point, he comes out to be roughly Voyager sized, or as Chuck explains it:
Astrotrain is a good figure and a great note to end the Siege line on. Unfortunately, I don't feel it's worth the price it's going for now, but this is the new reality we have to get used to with Leader Class figures going forward.

We now have our first trailer for the new Chinese Transformers X Nezha show. Fellow Seibertronian Sabrblade breaks down the new characters we see, which come from different parts of Chinese mythology and literature including the The Return of the Condor Heroes. We should be getting a full reveal of the accompanying toyline tomorrow so stay tuned for that.

The big yellow bot is Lei Zhenzi, whom we've already seen in toy form.
The skinny green bot is Tu Xingsun, whom we've also already seen in toy form.

Good news to Canadians who wanted to try their hand at coming up with a combined form for the Arcee sisters, the first wave of 2020 Studio Series deluxe toys is out now at Toysrus.ca. You can order the newsest Camato Bumblebee, WWII Hot Rod, Soundwave and the three motor bike sisters on the website and they will ship right away. While they only ship in Canada, desperate Americans can always use a forwarding service if they are so inclined. All three are the now standard price of $29.99 CAD. However, please retain your order confirmations because there will be a sale this coming Friday and you can claim a partial refund of $6 a figure.
These are expected out on January first in the US, though you'll probably see them a bit before that.
Other than this very unique promo box packaging (well, for Transformers toys, at least), the paperwork might be what interests Seibertronians the most at this point, since Series 3 started hitting retail back in September. Staying true to this being a "Christmas" promo, Hasbro went with a past, present and future them for the promo paperwork.
According to the included promo paperwork, several tribes are being retired. This includes the Shed Heads, Techie Team and Backpack Bunch. In addition to promoting several of the current tribes from Series 3, and the upcoming "Winner's Circle" tribe from the upcoming Series 4 Goldrush Games, there's also a promo sheet for 3 new tribes from Series 4 (Magic Tricksters, Movie Moguls and Science Alliance).
In addition to a Series 3 checklist, there was surprisingly a Series 4 checklist that includes the entire set, which hasn't been revealed before. We've included the entire list for your viewing pleasure below, along with images of the promo box.

Some photos cropped up online since the begiing of December regarding the Chinese exclusive subline of Transformers Nezha. I write subline because in terms of packaging and marketing, the Nezha line is being marketted along the Cyberverse line, with similar packaging and now Cyberverse characters/designs being offered as well. We see these familiar characters being offered as building toys, which fellow Seibertronian Sabreblade explains here.
Specifically, just the first four items on the page, as the rest appear to be unlicensed stuff.
The four are new Lego-esque construction brick figure sets of Windblade, Bumblebee, Megatron, and Optimus Prime, all based on their Cyberverse designs, and all sporting the Nezha Transformers logo, Cyberverse art for Optimus and Bumblebee, and Nezha's own box art in their stock images.
We also have an image from Weibo where we see a Nezha figure that can fit inside a robot which turns into a car. The synergy with Cyberverse is present in this toy as well since that mold has the same transformation as the Spark Armour Bumblebee toy.

Many of you have let us know that PrimeVsPrime on YouTube has upload a video reviewing the all new Transformers: Generations - War for Cybertron Trilogy - Earthrise Deluxe Class Cliffjumper! A few Seibertronians have made us aware of new in hand images of the first wave of Cyberverse deluxe figures due out January 1st. These images come from the Hobbymizer Faebook page and feature Deluxe Optimus Prime, Shockwave, Megatron and Bumblebee. There are also images showing their scale where we see that they are indeed, as expected, the size of a deluxe Siege toy. They also have the same articulation and complexity as Siege figures and are priced the same. However, you get bonus pieces to build a non transforming Maccadam figure. The images show how well these figures are articulated.
And good news for Canadians, these have also been found in Canada now. Over at Cybertron.ca, we have a sighting from Matt McNally who found these figures at a Toys R Us in Burlington, Ontario.

Thanks to our friends over at Flame Toys on Twitter, we have several new pieces of information for you regarding their Furai model kit lines.
Up first, we have box art for 2 of the upcoming/currently being released kits. The Skywarp kit is the 3rd use of this Seeker kit, following his usual mates Starscream and Thundercracker. He appears here in his signature dark purple and black, and his box art features a pretty nice piece of art of Skywarp blasting away. He is currently making his way out to stores. We also have the box art for the upcoming Drift kit, which is based on his initial IDW 2005 body style, ready to take the fight to the Decepticons on the blasted city streets.
