Dorksidetoysover at TFW2005 we have some lovely clear shots of the Autobot Air Guardian in all his G1-styled glory. A nice treat is the extreme close up of his Autobrand flipping gimmick. We also get to see him in both armored and unarmored modes, including an up close shot of his face with and without his helmet. Take a view and share your thoughts with the Seibertron crew. This is one hot item fans of old and new will no doubt be clamoring for.

This just in from Teletran-1: New detailed video views with transformations of Springer, Refraktor, Brunt, Red Alert, and Galaxy Upgrade Optimus Prime! Thanks to
Hasbro.com we have some new videos showing the transformations of each of the next wave of Transformers War for Cybertron: Seige figures. These versions will hopefully be representative of the final product, and given the debate over Red Alert's colors and detailing this might answer some of those questions. These provide clearer looks at Red Alerts rifle/axe functionality and Springer's weapons and how his sword works. Do any of the videos cement your need for these or do they change your opinion for the negative? Is your Trypticon technically complete without Brunt? Take a view and share your thoughts with the Seibertron crew.

The first time we saw Transformers Siege leader class Galaxy Optimus Prime was in comic art, and it seems like our first look at Siege Ratchet could be on some card art. Hasbro is trying to keep a standard image throughout its transformers media and thus the cards have had a lot of Siege themed designs in their art lately. In the latest card reveals, we have an image of Ratchet on the Take Cover card (shown below) and that image shows Ratchet in an identical body to Siege deluxe Ironhide. So this could be our first look at the deco for the upcoming Walgreens exclusive Ratchet. The art shows him with a black crest on a white helmet, which is Ratchet's standard colour scheme in the G1 cartoon.

There was this nice air of innocence in the air yesterday when colour images of Masterpiece Blackarachnia started appearing online. Fans speculated her small stature would mean a return to price points below $100 USD. Of course, there's the fact that she comes with both a base like Dinobot AND a web accessory bigger than her, which people may have forgotten will figure into said price point. So all in all, it comes at very little surprise that the first notion we have on its price is closer to the $130 USD mark. As can be seen below from a listing description
posted by a user from TFW2005 called TTemploy, the MSRP will be 15000 yen (around $136 USD at the moment). The listing descritpion also lists different faces, a weapon and missile, visor accessories and the aforementioned bases.
Regarding the price, this is the MSRP, meaning that the prices from some Japanese vendors like Amazon Japan will be lower. However, this will be the price western sellers will probably sell this toy for and after the qc problems with previous MPs, many fans have preferred buying from local importers due to the ease of exchanging defective products.
Here is the listing description:
preorder starts on 15th
retail price : Yen 15000
release : November
package size : 165×85x240
1x Black Widow Body
1x Smile Parts
1x Screaming face parts
1x Poison Anchor
1x Anchor Missile
1x Visor
1x Visor cable
1x Cord
4x Spider Web Parts
1x TF power Base
1x ARM
1x Adapter A
1x Adapter B
1x Character card
1x User manual

Thanks to a tip off from fellow Seibertron user,
Sjeng, an image has surfaced from a yet as unknown, Japanese magazine. This image shows none other then Snaptrap!
He's presumably a Voyager Class as he appears to be a heavy retool of Power of the Primes Hun-Grr. While this certainty looks legit (reinforced by the just visible and recently announced Generations Selects Smokescreen on the right hand side) take this news with a pinch of salt until we can confirm the source of the image.
What do you think of this? Let us know in the Energon Pub and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews!

Catz has been finding listings supplier listings for a while now and it's always fun when we get more. Of course, while the listings are real they may take up to a year to see what they were all about (like
Rebekah's Garage).
We finally have the actual listings and product codes for the G1 reissues coming out in 2019 and there is nothing else coming after Soundwave and his cassettes. We are indeed getting a War for Cybertron Soundblaster and Ratchet, the later will be a Walgreens exclusive for their holiday season (so be prepared to wait a while before finding it at retail). For the Datsun fans, there will also be a deluxe Bluestreak. Also, there sill be a special edition Optimus and Megatron without the battle damage as part of the 35th anniversary. The other item from War for Cybertron will be a 10 pack of Micro Masters (some redecos to fill out the teams? who knows!).
Beast Wars fans will be happy to see that we are getting a Cheetor toy and it will be one of those more fun looking battle armour ones. A warrior Slipstream will be coming too. Last but not least, we will be getting another Studio Series Leader Megatron. This will be different from the DOTM leader though it is not sure if that means it will just be a redeco/retool or a totally different mold for his Movie 1 self. Afterall, he is the only one missing from the 2007 line up in Studio Series.
Let us know what you think!

Five years ago Hasbro went all out with Thrilling 30 to celebrate the Transformers franchise's 30th anniversary in 2014, and now it looks like they're once again in the festive move! While Hasbro hasn't made a statement on their plans we did get a quick glimpse of what appears to be a 35th anniversary subline displayed at Toy Fair based around War for Cybertron: Siege. Thanks to a photo posted on the personal Twitter account of
Ryan Penagos of Marvel we're shown a series of repaints featuring Soundblaster, Bluestreak, Optimus Prime and Megatron. Or, more specifically, mockups of the packaging as the only figure actually shown is Soundblaster. There's been some speculation that the two faction leaders may be given toon shaded decos, but this has not be confirmed. The side of the box shows a large "35" rather than the more
elaborate logo shown by Takara Tomy at Wonder Festival 2019 Winter.
After the photo was taken the figures and boxes were removed before media representatives were allowed to view the displays. Considering they're shown next to the Walmart exclusive G1 reissues it's entirely possible, but again not confirmed, that these will also be exclusives and only displayed to shop to buyers from different stores as Toy Fair is, first and foremost, a trade show for the toy industry. There's even a small possibility that these will never see the light of day.
So what do you think of this potential celebration of the franchise's 35th anniversary? Any characters you hope will turn up? Sound off in the Energon Pub forums below!

The character born from a BotCon 2013 comic error may finally be getting his first figure in Generations Selects! And, appropriately, we're learning about this possibility thanks to an error on Hasbro's part. When Hasbro Pulse first listed the upcoming
Combat Megatron figure they accidentally gave the package content for a figure that is decidedly not Megatron.
Includes: Voyager Class Decepticon Red Wing figure, 2 weapon accessories, and instructions.
The page has been since updated with the correct contents; "Generations Selects Combat Megatron figure".
So why is this a big deal and who even is Red Wing anyway? Well for starters he was supposed to be an orange Seeker as the original incarnation of Hotlink in a collaboration between BotCon and Japan's e-Hobby which was going to contribute a new Sunstorm figure, both using the Classics Seeker mold. That plan would fall through and the name Hotlink would be given to the purple Rainmaker figure that same year. However, a cameo for the unnamed orange bot was planned for the BotCon 2013 comic in homage to their original plan, but after printing the character turned out red! And thus, Red Wing was born, though he wouldn't receive a name until fans spotted him in the comic and wanted to know who he was.
And it didn't end there. He would surface multiple times over the years, including a Japanese Kre-O comic and a character in the Transformers Legends game. Despite a strong fan demand a figure has remained elusive all these years. Could Red Wing finally be getting his first figure, likely a repaint of Siege Voyager Starscream? Time will tell. For now, let us know what you think in the Energon Pub forums below!

Well this was unexpected if it turns out to be true. User
Mr. Chaos on the TFW2005 forums has posted some new UPC codes for known figures from an anonymous source, but included was a new UPC for a figure that we haven't heard rumors of yet: Leader class Astrotrain.
WFC Leader Class Astrotrain. E3419. UPC 63050988227
Now, obviously, this hasn't been confirmed by Hasbro so take this rumor with a grain of salt. We are heading into Toy Fair starting Friday so there's a possibility this figure may make an appearance at the event if it's true. Thanks to Seibertronian Autobot N for making us aware! Feel free to speculate away in the Energon Pub forums below!

So this is still very much a rumour at this junction, but two of our fellow Seibertron users,
TFanPage101 and
Cyberpath have shared with us a rumour first circulated on the TFW2005 boards by a user over there by the name of
TTEmploy
The rumour states that the masterpiece following MP-44 will be none other than a new version of Bumblebee, with a robot mode closely resembling the G1 animation model and with an Alt mode to match the chibifed cartoon model which was done to match the original G1 toy.
The rumour also gives a run down on what he'll include and a Japanese price as well as his release date. These details are included in the original and subsequent posts. He also states that preorders will open on the twelfth of February. Apparently included is the figure itself, a Spike figure, two different faces, a gun effect part, a numberplate, seal and instructions.
Prehaps as proof to these claims, or as a reaction to the rumour, the
TagHobby website created a listing for the figure, with matching details.
Here is what the listing says:
[BREAK NEWS]
TAGHOBBY get the updated news!! TAKARATOMY will release the TRANSFORMERS Master Piece Series MP45 Blublebee Ver.2.0 in Sep 2019. It include figure, weapon and effect part. We are very surprise for the price of ver.2.0 is 13,000Yen(Not included tax).
No source is given on the TagHobby site.
So again, it must be stressed that this is all rumours currently.
Till then why not have a look at Seibertron's own gallery of MP-21 Bumblebee to see the old version or check out a top 5 list of non-movie Bumblebee toys as compiled by several Seibertron.com users:
