Greetings Seibertronians! This news is for our fellow transformers fans down under! According to the Facebook page for
Ozformers, Wave 2 of the Battlemasters class have been found in Australian retail. The wave consists of Slitherfang and a re-release of Siege Rung in Earthrise packaging.
The sighting was made at the Gepps Crossing Toyworld in South Australia. The photo was supplied to Ozformers by a member of their community.
If you want to see more of Slitherfang, check out this video review
here.
While these are now making their way to the shelves in Australia, it remains to be seen when they'll reach other places given current global developments. Rest assured though that we here at Seibertron will try and bring you the latest sighting news as we get it.
Are you wanting to pick these up? Let us know in the Energon Pub and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews!

That was fast. We just learnt that this pretty cool looking figure exists and now it can be yours. Transformers fan T-Hybrid spotted it at an Apple Valley Target in Minnesota. They took some extra images to show that the cape might be purposefully detachable, which could make for a less goofy wolf mode.
This voyager sized toy is just shy of $20.
The images were originally posted on the
TFW2005 boards. You can
click here to see some official images of this figure.

The new mold of Rescue Bots Chase, released now under Rescue Bots Academy, has been found in both the US and Canada. In Canada, he was found at a Toysrus in Montreal for $15 while in the US he was found at a Walgreens in North Carolina for $14. This is a new mold for Chase the Police Bot as he is now a drag racer. I actually purchased this for my two year old and thus I have some more pictures for you.
The size is similar to a deluxe, the same size of other Rescue Bots its size in the previous line before the rebranding. While he turns into a Drag Racer rather than a police car, and thus less show accurate, I can attest that my kid did not care. This new mold actually fixes a lot of design aspects from the original. The robot mode looks better as it is more proportionate and defined rather than just look like the alt mode parts slightly more apart from each other. Also, the original's transformation mechanism broke up the blue of the alt mode but here it's all concealed within the toy. So both modes look great. I really like the headsculpt where he has a nice police cap. The transformation is as simple as ever, very quick and effective, recreating the rapidity seen onscreen. All you have to do is flip down the spoiler and it's done. Here are images below compared to previous Rescut Bot toys and other one steps.

This is sure to be good news for people hoping to find something new on the shelf. The Target exclusive two pack for Transformers Earthrise featuring Skywarp and Thundercracker has been found in store at Target. The price is $59.99 and this particular sighting was at a Target in Fremont, California. Fellow Transformers fan Verkk reported this on the
TFW2005 boards. The other Target exclusive two pack will be for the decepticon clones which are rereleases of the Takara release. Those have yet to be found nor are either sets available online at Target.com.

Thanks to a post on Facebook by Ozformers (a page focusing on Australian Transformers news), we have photo proof that one of the most anticipated (and certainly the most magnificent) Earthrise releases, Sky Lynx, has been found at retail in Australia! This photo shows the splendiferous Autobot in all his Commander Class glory about to be released on a Big W store in Brisbane, Queensland. The post notes that a sale is coming up in two weeks' time, during which he'll be marked down to $119AUD (currently $82.92USD), a $30AUD savings- though not all Big W locations may not stock him until then, and those that do may sell out before then.
So with this first retail sighting of Sky Lynx, is your anticipation still bearable? Can you hardly wait to obtain him? Surely, Australian fans must be excited to have this figure to begin another winter. Let us know what you think below, and whether or not you plan on picking him up.

It has been gradual, but Toysrus is now reopening all their stores in Canada. Of course there are changes, such as single direction arrows, plexi glass, purel stations and a moretorium on in store events, but at least Canadians can go back in stores and get toys for their kids or themselves. Their Transformers section is fully stocked and it even includes some new sightings for Canadians. The latest Cyberverse deluxe toys are there, Grimlock and Hot Rod, and they also have the two Gold Rush Botbots sets. All these toys mentioned are $29.99 CAD.

There is a big sale coming up in Australia's Big W stores in June. The best deal is 44% off all leader class toys, in the various Transformers toy lines. Also, they include Sky Lynx in the sale, meaning he should be in stock there soon. He is meant to be a temporary exclusive where he will only be available at Big W for the first 3 months of release and then come to other retailers as well.
Here is all the info from
Ozformers.
BigW mid-year TOY SALE starts soon.
Transformers toys are on page 16 of the catalogue (already on the BigW website).. with some AWESOME prices.
-
Sale starts Online Tuesday JUNE 16th.
Sale prices in-store from Thursday JUNE 18th.
-
Sale ends Wednesday JULY 15th.
-
WFC Skylynx - $119 (save $30 - normally $149)
WFC & Studio Series LEADER - $49 (save $39 - normally $88)
WFC & Studio Series VOYAGER - $35 (save $14 - normally $49)
Bumblebee Movie Energon Ignitors Nitro - $15 (new price)
-
https://www.bigw.com.au/bigw-catalogues…
Skylynx is noted as a BigW exclusive, which is true for about 3 months, when it is allowed to be sold by other retailers. (Kmart & Target are NOT getting it)
The examples of the Leader & Voyager toys in the catalogue may not be the new items or waves in the stores for the sale... we will have to wait until the new stock arrives at stores in the next two weeks.
Leader class is not a regular size at BigW, so when their Toy Sale stock sells out, they might not get more in.
The Nitro toys also look to be a one-off shipment, so should stay at $15 until they sell out (they used to be $35).
Both Leader & Voyager are shown with examples of Studio Series and Generations WFC toys, so the sale price should apply to both series.
Scorponok was not scheduled for this sale, but should show up at BigW (and some other retailers) around September/October (subject to demand).

We thank fellow Seibertronian Flashwave for sending us word and proof that the Netflix Series Ultra Magnus Spoiler box has been found on clearance at Walmart. Now this is probably not the case for all or even most Walmarts but we wanted to let you know, just in case. For many, paying $60 for a toasted Magnus and a Rung redeco was not ideal, but clearance prices tend to change people's minds. And this clearance price is $35, which is almost half off.
This particular sighting comes from Plainfield, IN.
So, let us know, is $35 low enough for you to double dip?

We thank Rodimus Knight for informing us that Transformers Masterpiece MP-51 Arcee is now available on
Amazon Japan. For most fans, this is usually the cheapest and fastest way to get Takara toys. In this instance, she would only set you back $106 USD for international retailers, since they don't have to pay taxes. You may get import fees depending on where you are, like in Canada, Israel or the UK (the example shown below is being shipped to Canada). There should be no import fees for the US though. The shipping price is around $14 USD and it tends to be the quickest international shipping possible.
Of course, regardless of the price being lower here, the question of whether or not a collector wants this Arcee remains the big one. So let us know!
