Last month (16th August 2009) Seibertron has brought to you the news that SG Collect is planning to release a limited edition
Black & Red colour Drift-01X.
SG Collect has just released 2 new images of this upcoming special edition Drift. There haven't been any announcements concerning the kit's release date as of yet.
We here at Seibertron would like to remind you that this is not an official Transformers product licenced by ether Hasbro Inc. or Tomy Takara. Buyers purchase this item at their own risk of poor quality control or toy safety issues.

Fan company i-Gear known for their Autoscout figure have updated their
site with an on-line store complete with pre-orders for their upcoming partner product of a miniature Master Piece Optimus Prime. But this is not all they also have a pre-order for a limited to 500 pieces Nemesis Prime version of this toy.
These pre-orders also give us our first idea of when the figure will be available for purchase and how much they will cost.
The release date is quoted as being November 2009 for the Optimus Prime version and February 2010 for the Nemesis Prime version. The prices are $95 for the Optimus Prime version and $80 for the Nemesis Prime version.
To pre-order you have to visit the
online store and follow the instructions.
Seibertron.com would like to inform you of the fact that although these figures are of a smaller size and feature new heads and hands, they still are considered Knock Offs of the original and legendary figures created by Hasbro and Takara so the quality on these is not guaranteed nor is this product endorsed by us.

Since we all know how release dates can slide, treat this with a grain of salt until both iGear and retailers confirm this. I noted today while browsing the iGear site, under the iGear Shop tab, that the pre-order for their Mini-MP Convoy/Prime figure, IG-PP01, has price and release date assigned to it. According to iGear, the release is expected in November and the pricing is 95.00 dollars. Stay tuned to see if that date and price is confirmed by online retailers.

Recently we have seen many images of the upcoming I Gear miniature MP Optimus Prime Prototype, however the toy is still in unpainted stage. So remember that
these are not official.
A user from ACToys managed to apply his Photo Shop skills and gave us a feel how does the mini MP Prime will looks like when fully painted. He managed to make the prototype into classic Optimus Prime colour scheme, MP02 Ultra Magnus, upcoming MP1B Black Convoy as well as colour scheme for Shattered Glass Optimus Prime.

Real Devastator has alerted us that third party toy producer iGear has updated their blog again with more images of their upcoming TF004 and TF004-B trailers. Interestingly, the new images include our first look at the version of Roller that they plan to include with it. However, it appears that instead of giving us a totally new, unique version, theirs copies and up-sizes the version of Roller included with the Hybrid Style Convoy set, including the articulated wheels. Also of note, iGear has gone to the trouble of blurring out the Autobot symbols on the images of the trailers, perhaps thinking it can help avoid potential litigation by HasTak. Still no word yet on pricing though and when we can expect these to be released.

Seibertron.com member Real Devastator has found new info regarding the custom made miniature Master Piece Optimus Prime figure we reported
earlier.
The information he found is that the mold is currently being created and should see completion in mid October, the price is not yet known as it depends on the demand of the figure.
He also found out what the next project is for the person behind this and the Classics miniature Classics
Optimus Prime molds: Master Piece -05 Megatron! This is supposedly going to be in 1:1 scale with the actual Walter P.38!
No new pictures have been given out yet.

Real Devastator has found some information on Asian fansite HK-TF.com alerting collectors of an apparent KO of the Takara Mickey Mouse Transformer. As with many other knock-offs, this one is oversized at 16cm tall. From the image, it also appears that there will probably be some changes to the paint application, potential issues with paint quality, and major differences in packaging. No word yet on when it will be hitting the streets or where it will turn up.

Seibertron.com member Real Devastator has passed us a very disturbing piece of new information regarding a new knock off that may be hitting the market soon.
After the KOs of FansProject's Shadow Commander and City Commander upgrade sets were revealed, it appears that the DIA Powered Commander set will also be KOed.
The KO has not been released yet but is listed as "coming soon" at online retailer
Toy Workers, in a preorder.
This KO is labelled as DIA Powered Commander but, from the photos provided, it seems as if it's based on the Powered Commander version from TFCon Toronto.

Just recently we
reported a custom mini version of Master Piece Optimus Prime. Now Real Devastator found out that the same guy that made that figure has made a mini version of Classics Optimus Prime and has already made a crystal Convoy version of it. This new mini Classics Optimus Prime is the same size as the unproduced Deluxe Class Classics Prime but is not a direct copy of that mold as it's identical to the Voyager version.
Click the first picture to see more photos of it on ACToys.
When any of these will be available to buy is currently unknown.
