Our own SmokeStack has brought us some interesting news. SmokeStack found an article in D Magazine about Transformers Cybertron Metroplex. The article is about how people in North Texas refer to the are as the Metroplex. The writer states that he is tired of people saying that, becaus Metroplex is a big Transformer and we live in him. Hasbro inc. has released their final results for their earnings in the third quarter. The following are the highlights from their press release.

Net revenues up 5% to $1.039 billion, compared to $988.1 million a year ago, with strong performance from a number of brands including LITTLEST PET SHOP, PLAYSKOOL, NERF, TRANSFORMERS, STAR WARS and PLAY-DOH.

Net earnings per share increased 23% to $0.58 per diluted share, this compared to prior year net earnings of $0.47 per diluted share;

Operating profit improved 29% to $165.2 million or 15.9% of revenues;

During the quarter, the company repurchased approximately 6.6 million shares of common stock at a total cost of $131.0 million

Transformers Classics have been sighted in Ontario, Canada at Toys 'R' Us. These include Voyager class, Deluxe class and the 20th Anniversary DVD Edition Optimus Prime.

These were found by myself and Master Zarak of Cybertron.ca.

Meg...Optimus Prime?! Thetransformers.net reports that it would appear that David Kaye, the voice of Megatron for the last few years is gonna be the new voice of Optimus Prime for the new series. This has apparently been confirmed by the man himself in an email to board member Heather!

We'll keep you posted pending further developments.

Thanks to Shoppertron vendor Digital-Toys for the following tidbit:

We've just received official word from Takara that the next entry in the Masterpiece line will be MP-05 Masterpiece Megatron to be released March 2007 for only $99.95.
Digital-toys.com already have a pre-order up.
Also, Takara has officially DENIED the rumors that TFC 06 Megatron will be re-released in December.
