Don't antagonize. Stop it. And just so you know, he does indeed know how to use it. Like he says below, he has several news credits because of it. Quit picking on people.

It works, you just don't know how to do it.

As for the spot, Air Grimlock FTW! :D

Seems like there will be a lot of ass-kicking in this movie. I bought my advance ticket today. Bring it on! :D

"you just don't know how to do it."

look at my news credit i did know how to do it.

maybe the video was to new (it was 12 minutes old when i tried to post it)

I see what the error was and it was very easy to miss.

You posted this YouTube code: wLkv3UPoq
This is the one that worked: wLkv3UPoq-Q
The -Q part is what threw you off, it did it to me, too. In the future, if you're not sure where the code begins or ends, try this:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v= wLkv3UPoq-Q &playlist See where I bolded? The code starts after the = sign and before the ampersand. As long as you get all of the gibberish between those two, the coding will work. Dashes included. Like I said, it was easy to miss and I almost did it myself.

And thank you for sharing this new ad. I'll get on it and you'll have a new news credit!

EDIT: Never mind. Mindmaster got it. He should also give you credit for it, because you were the one who brought it to our attention, even though CBM was the original source. So, 'master, git crackin'!

We have a trio of new Transformers: Age of Extinction clips to share this morning. The first two come to us from CBM Trailers, and the third from Chevrolet's Official YouTube Channel. The fist is a clip from the film featuring Cade, Tessa, and Lucas, the second another IMAX featurette, the third is really more of a commercial for the 2014 Camaro, but contains footage. Check 'em out embedded below:

Update: Fourth clip from Fandango added.

Indeed it was. I'm surprised we haven't heard any reviews hit the internet yet. I'm downright shocked, actually. I was expecting someone to come on here and spoil the whole dang thing, but to my surprise, no one has yet.

I'm impressed. I like it. I don't want to be spoiled. For once, this is a TF film I want to go into with no foreknowledge of much of anything. I blew it with DOTM. I read the novel beforehand. Like an idiot.

Yeah, that's exactly why I was wondering. I figured someone would have said something by now, even if it was overhyped fanwank. No word even on the performance by Imagine Dragons after (or was it before?) the premiere.

I'm impressed. I like it. I don't want to be spoiled. For once, this is a TF film I want to go into with no foreknowledge of much of anything.

I agree 100%. Especially since there will be very little to nothing to do with the previous 3.

I blew it with DOTM. I read the novel beforehand. Like an idiot.

That's another thing. I have all of the novels of the movies so far (and even the prequels to them) and I couldn't find the novel for Age of Extinction. There must not be 1. :(

I read a review. I didn't read too much of it, because I didn't want to be spoiled, though. I remember 2 distinctive minor spoilers, but that's it.

The link is only to exerpts of the reviews and they are spoiler free. I do not know about the reviews themselves as I have yet to read them. What I find baffling is the quote from one review saying that BumbleBee adds MUCH NEEDED comic relief to the film. I would have NEVER expected a transformers Michael Bay film to be much in need of humour, so that statement means a lot. All we need to know is that so far, everyone who has seen it has liked it overall and thats good enough for me.

Oh man, you guys have no idea how happy I am to read this quick spoiler free quote from a reviewer:

"It’s not just that the Autobots look more distinctive and easier to tell apart than ever in “Transformers: Age of Extinction” — as Optimus Prime never tires of reminding us, these robots have actual souls. So who cares if the human characters are even more dispensable and the plot even more scattershot than usual? Resurrected to take on man-made knock-offs of themselves, these metallic superheroes cause so much destruction, it’s as if they’re trying to find a literal new definition for the term “blockbuster” — and indeed, as in the 2007-11 trilogy, which raked in $2.6 billion globally, helmer Michael Bay continues to evolve ways to make robotic shape-shifting look increasingly seamless and realistic in 3D."

All I ever wanted was for the robots to be the stars of the film and to be able to follow them and the action and it looks like finally I will have this simple wish come true.

So the story is "weird" and "scattershot" but the images are "better than ever". Not sure what to make of that. I'm still seeing it, and I will probably love it, but that kinda raises a flag.

Also, the previous trilogy was also reviewed badly, and I ended up enjoying all 3 of them on 1st and 2nd viewings. So I don't put much stock into Bayhaters' reviews. I'm gonna go to the theater, get my big-ass bucket of popcorn and drink, and I will enjoy myself for 3 hours. I just have to remember to go to the can beforehand.

Dont worry about those lines, they raise no flags to me. Critics greatly disliked the last 2 films but people are actually enjoying the fun ride that is this one for once and that speaks volumes to me. What I get from these reviews is that, though the negatives can be pointed out, they do not take away from the enjoyment of the awesome visuals and action. And that is much much better than when the same critics would go : "Wheelie humping Megan Fox's leg and Devastator's balls really ruined the fun film for me".

So what I mean is if these critics actually had some fun this time, then there is no reason it should not be a blast to anyone who liked them before. And I like the fact that this has a heavy plot, I really look forward to it. Scattershot is not such a bad thing when its happening in the background of grandiose Transformer action and what it tells me is that there is a lot of planning to ensure more story material in upcoming films. I mean think about it, they are actually discussing plot regarding a Bayverse transformer film!

Simply said: a scattershot plot is better than no plot and IF you dont like the plot then the amazing transformer visuals in the foreground will help you ignore it. It's a win win.

Also, all these reviews confirm the early review that was posted a week ago. I guess that guy did see the film after all.

It actually looks like they're putting a heavier emphasis on the Transformers as characters for this one. Albeit only a little, but I like the looks of what they seem to be going with. The tone of the movie actually looks a bit more light-hearted- the Autobots are having a bit of fun and making snide remarks in a way very reminiscent of the old cartoon, and I think I like the look of this a lot more than the heavily grim tone of the 3rd film (where we see people vapourized on screen, and the Autobots don't exactly do a whole lot other than die horribly...RIP Ironhide...).

So yeah, I'm actually pretty pumped. I don't think it will be as good as the first movie (which in my opinion was the best) but it looks to be better than DOTM and a whole lot better than ROTF (which I actually liked, scrotums and all).

Earlier last week we've reported that Transformers 5 was promised by Paramount Pictures Senior Vice President Edward Ryan in 2016 (here) at the TF4 Screening during CineEurope 2014 Barcelona. But NOT SO FAST reports ign.com. According to IGN's Roth Cornet who spoke with Transformers: Age of Extinction producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura the release date seems to be inaccurate. In fact the next movie might not even be part of a trilogy!

"We're not planning on doing a trilogy," he told Roth. "We're not not planning on doing a trilogy. It's really a one-movie-at-a-time philosophy. It feels a little arrogant. Both [director Michael Bay] and I feel like it's a little arrogant of us to presume success each time. We know our fans are really out there and they're going to come, so we presume a certain amount of success. But all the energy will be thrown into the next movie, if we're lucky enough to get there."

unless the next one is a reboot its going to be a sequel or prequel theres no way around it. You could do a spin off but even that would be part of the established story line.

I think they're going to do like they said the 1st time. They're just backtracking now to not look like overconfident blowhards. Saying that they were ready to make a trilogy made it sound like they were taking the success of this film for granted (and why shouldn't they?) and the next 2 are a foregone conclusion.

Oh PUH-LEEEES, the movie's aren't going to end. They're a summer blockbuster that always makes money with the masses. No way they're going to stop making them. (I mean this all in a depressive sense, mainly because I really dislike the movies)

My hope is just that they'll get a new director for the next bunch of them.

What's so surprising about them saying that AOE does not necessarily start another trilogy. This news doesn't suggest anything so different from how they handled the first three. They made small connections in order to link three different plots about Decepticon's trying to destroy the world. The connections were simple enough for them to not worry so much about tying things together. That's probably how they'll approach any sequel to Age Of Extinction.

Yeah that's horse poo considering how this movie ends. It's literally the first act.
And leaves it needing a next film to end the over all plot.

The very end of the last TV spot showed Grimlock snapping someone in half with his jaws. Not sure who, it was just a mess of parts and green fluid. (Made me think it was Crosshairs for a second, but that wouldn't make sense.)

I wish Bee would keep that '69 Camaro alt mode. Looks so much better than the new one.

Off to see AOE! Hope it's good, or at least better than the first three. :)

I'm pretty sure that's just a Vehicon.

The Chevy Trax bots aren't Vehicons.

This is an AOE Vehicon:
