Q. Will their be more Shattered Glass figures in the future?
A. Maybe... And we are revisiting the timeline with the Prose story Dungeons and Dinobots due out this Fall
Q. How do you choose the paint scheme and details when you do an exclusive? Does Hasbro have a say?
A. Just depends on the theme of the set. Plus, you have to take into consideration the other characters in the set, you don't want 5 green autobots lol...
Q. I am curious about the decisions to limit figure production. For example: I tried to order the 2007 botcon set but it was already sold out. Now I am trying to collect all the seekers but they are way out of my price range. If the demand is there, why are the production runs of set or exclusives increased? Or, why are the figures not reissued, maybe as a "second printing" like books?
A. We upped production at the last second but were still short. We are only able to do one run though, so when they are gone, they are gone... Trust me, we wish we had made more!
Here you get your chance to ask that nagging question you've wanted to know without having to be a member! So what are you waiting for? Get on over to the Q & A Thread and ask away. No doubt you are, because of the 25th Anniv and all. I am however bummed. Can't go. Too far and the new son Jordan will not be old enough to travel then and his mom will not want me leaving our new family, nor do I feel that I should at that time.
Rant over. Hooray for everyone else. Non-attending package here I come.
Pete can I please have some hookups on add on toys though??? Please.... For my newborn (in May) son of course!

"Far be it from me to wreck your all's ideas. I just know that this year's set is going to rule!"
Anything more you can hint at for us here???? Is this related to that movie painted BLUE EVAC that was rumored to be Wrecker's member WHIRL?

have you thought about makeing it more affordable for non U.S residents to join the offical club, we've just had a hard sell to join, but i for one can't afford to pay $us89.00 a year, simply for 6 magazines and a slight discount at the from the club store.

darkqueen01 wrote:So here is a random question from a noob. *points at self* Say you miss the deadline for the getting the heatwave figure free. Any chance that this will become available as a TCC member exclusive to buy in the future or will those that sign up after the deadline have to maybe possibly buy it off of Ebay in the future? Any help is appreciated, thanks!
You can usually purchase these figures at the club store (through the club), at Botcon at the club's booth--until they are out of stock--, and also the other options that you mentioned.
At least that has been my experience at Botcons. There are usually plenty of these to go around.

Most things the club offers is in general not something we need 2 of. Would it really be necessary for both of us to join. The reason I ask is can just one of us join and can that one then buy 2 discounted tickets to Botcon. If not have you considered offering price point higher then single membership but tailored for a couple. So couple doesn't have to take it on the chin for two memberships and save the trees on a unwanted second copy of the bi-monthy mag. Offer a Single copy of the bi-monthly, 2 discounted Botcon tickets, maybe two club forum memberships?
Thanks again for your time.

Hi Classy,
Seeing as Pete and the Crew over at the TFCC have had their hands full with the recent GIJOE Convention and trying to lock down a location for Botcon 2010, I'll answer this question for them.
As long as you have a membership to the Official Transformers Collectors Club, you would be able to get a variety of member priced packages for Botcon. Members are allowed to by more than one Primus package during early registration, this is the package that includes the boxset exclusive toys for Botcon, an all access pass to the dealer room, panels and pretty much every event occurring from Friday to Sunday.
With one membership I believe you can also sign up you and your wife/husband for the special customizing class normally held the Wednesday prior to the convention, along with any tours or special trips planned before the main event opening on Friday. If you don't want to get two full Primus sets, you can get a lower cost Protoform package that includes everything save the boxset, or a Minicon package add on that is available with any Primus package purchase and has all the liberties of the Primus pack save the boxset also.
If I missed anything, Im sure Pete will clear it up for you.

When looking at molds to use for Botcon and the TFC Exclusives, do you limit yourself only to Transformers molds, or are the TF:Crossover lines fair game? Some of the star wars and marvel crossovers might make decent figs with a new head mold.
