Omega Supreme has ports on his track which are compatible with the bases in Titans return including of course the other Titans Trypticon and Fortress Maximus. This is so that fans and kids can build their own massive citis with the huge bases. You can see those connecting ports on the image below.
Jetfire also has backwards compatibility but with Prime Masters and Titan Masters. Both of those smaller kinds of bots can sit in Jetfire's cockpit.
These are just fun Easter Egg type features that will not be documented since they are meant as a bonus to fans who already have figures from prevous lines. If you don't have those previously released figures, don't worry there is a lot to enjoy from these fgures which each have their own special features.
Another point regarding Omega Supreme, John Warden did confirm that his bot mode is meant to scale with Devastator.
Let us know if any of this info makes you happy and if you feel Hasbro is taking things up a notch with their Transformers toys.

So I'll take this opportunity to give Hasbro some much do appreciation and respect. Well Done. I know I've been critical, and I'll continue to call out things I feel are glaring omissions and missteps, but I'll try to do better to give props when do. This is about the best outcome one could imagine. I fully intended to make Siege Omega Supreme fit within my giant city network, prior to this announcement, but this just makes it all the more satisfactory. Also I fully intended on getting Jetfire, since I never got the T30 one, and this one is actually (seemingly) better...The TM/PM BWC wasn't necessary, but is certainly welcome. These little things definitely do push the RIGHT kind of buttons with and old fuddy-duddy like myself.

No, there are some serious gaps in the pre-orders for both Siege and Studio Series. For Siege, no sign of pre-orders for Brunt, Refractor and presuming Barricade in wave 4, and no sign of the micromasters at all past wave 2. For Studio Series, the first 3 constructions are missing from pre-orders, while later numbers in the series do have pre-orders.
Basically Hasbro jumped the gun in the excitement of all the new "announcements" and put wave 4 up (minus one secret figure, likely Barricade) ahead of wave 3. Although as of yesterday Entertainment Earth was taking orders for wave 3 Deluxe cases, but they're no longer listed.
I'm also seriously wondering whether the rumored Leader Astrotrain was some bad info. It is weird that we heard absolutely nothing about him. The rumor was from something found on Walmarts site, right? Isn't Walmart also going to have the G1 re-release for Astrotrain? Could that have been the mix-up?
It was found in Walmart computers, but the codes matched other Siege Leaders. If it's real it wont be released until the end of the year so they're just holding it and Barricade for later, probably SDCC.
Reissue Astrotrain isn't coming until 2020 and we only just had the poll so I doubt it's in their computers yet.

Perhaps wave 4 is pioneering the individual figure ordering system?

Maybe? I know siege in general is the first time Target had DCPI numbers for each figure.... so I think it may have started with wave one.

The first time I saw this yesterday, tape mode wasn't bad, but it wasn't great since the legs didn't seem to sit flush with the body to make a decent tape deck. Now, it looks great, because the legs look like they can sit flush, so that's awesome. A triple changing Soundwave is superior

- There is a preorder for a voyager War for Cybertron Siege Apeface figure. No image and while it has a ridiculous price ($60 CAD), CMD store is known for it's very high markups. The product is said to be out in December.
- There is a preorder for leader class Astrotrain. Also out in December.
- There is a preorder for the wave 4 deluxe figures from Siege which confirm that Barricade is the wavemate for Mirage and Impactor. There is no image of the actual toy provided. It will be out in October.
Finally, we have in hand images of Starscream and Soundwave. They can all be found at the snakas blog but we included some below. the big takeaway is that a boombox-type mode for Soundwave is possible. It is unknown if this was intentional or not form Hasbro.

Although... what if LC Siege Astrotrain is a retool of VC TR Astrotrain with transforming armor? Sounds pointless maybe, but they could turn that around and recolor it as Leader Class Sentinel Prime with the Apex Armor from Megatron: Origin.
Edit: 35th Anniversary line already has Soundblaster, right? Probably means we won't get a 'clean' version of Soundwave with red optics. Also, after all these years, why has Soundwave never gotten a G1 Marvel inspired deco?

I knew that's why.
I really like both of these. Soundwave looks awesome, and Starscream is great. I thought Starscream would have a kibble backpack, but it actually cleans up quite nicely. Although, I have seen pictures of those thrusters on top, and that they can rotate to sit against his back, and even that doesn't look kibbly at all.
Soundwave and Starscream are both gonna be awesome, and I hope to get them both.
I hope that Astrotrain and Snapdragons are confirmed, because that excites me

Soundwave's 'boombox' mode looks pretty much like any robot that can fold it's legs up like that. It's not quite up finding out the rather awesome bat-mode of RotF Mindwipe or anything.

Soundwave is giving some serious side-eye.
Getting back to the newly leaked Apeface listing and a possible Snapdragon to follow, how do we think Hasbro is handling the Horrorcons this time around? Will they be completely compatible with the Titans Return system of play? If so, it's hard to imagine the Headmaster units would retain their original G1 gimmick of forming both the robot mode head and the beast mode head. I assume that if TR backwards compatibility is important, Spasma and Krunk will only form the robot mode heads. Which route would you rather they take, or are there other ideas on how to either compromise on these gimmicks or alternatively to have it all?

Personally, I feel like it might not be backwards compatible to Titans Return, but maybe back to Thrilling 30 Brainstorm. Just for the head to look normal sized. But, considering this line is about returning to the original gimmicks, I'd be surprised if they weren't pulling double duty, and backwards compatible

I doubt they will ever go back to the T30 BS headmaster size (one off size figure) and be much more likely to stick with TR titanmasters (Jetfire is already compatible). My guess is maybe the beast modes heads would have a helmet type gimmick like the TR leaders did. So the new head/titan masters would form the robot head and plug into a beast helmet or mask type scenario.Sentinel_Primal wrote:Wolfman Jake wrote:Getting back to the newly leaked Apeface listing and a possible Snapdragon to follow, how do we think Hasbro is handling the Horrorcons this time around? Yeah, since we've got an "easter egg" for Titan and Prime Masters being able to ride in Jetfire's cockpit, I would assume Hasbro would stay with that standard for any additional Headmaster gimmick characters for the foreseeable future. That said, I like the idea of the beast mode heads being a helmet or mask that pops out and covers the Titan Master head or face, akin to some of the Voyager and Leader Class figures in the Titans Return line. Let's just hope Hasbro has learned from the mistake that is Voyager Galvatron's "mask," though.
Posted by Skritz on February 20th, 2019 @ 3:50pm CST
As for Siege Horrocons, if they do happen, I wouldn't be too bothered if they didn't have the Titan Master interaction. However, in a line which is all about staying true to gimmicks (well mostly) and with Hasbro having all the groundwork laid out already for Headmasters via the Titan/Prime Master engineering it would be silly if any future Headmaster leftover was not compatible. I'm aware the horrocons are weird for headmasters but there are plenty of ways to have them have the beast head without compromising the Titan Master interaction, include simply making the beast head a kibble part. Of course its also plausible that the Horrorcons have a headmaster gimmick which is stand-alone for the sake of G1 accuracy.
As long as they happen and as long as they got headmaster integration I'll gladly add them to my collection to complete the Decepticon Headmasters.
