Transformers Game.com has been updated once again with new content.

Firstly, new images from actual gameplay have been uploaded in the gallery on the site.

Secondly, the opening sequence for the game has been posted!

To view the opening sequence, go to Transformers Game.com and click "Video" from the menu on the top of the page.

The new video will automatically be selected and will start playing.

Here is a brief synopsis of what you can expect by viewing the video:

The video starts off on planet Cybertron and shows thousands of Transformers laying dead from a battle. We then see Frenzy digging through piles of bodies, looking for the Allspark. Then we see Megatron flying around Cybertron in vehicle mode.

Next we see the Allspark falling to Earth. Various scenes from around a city are shown, including a construction site where Blackout does a fly bye in vehicle mode.

We then see Optimus Prime crusing down a road and the camera moves away, just far enough that all we see is his shadow as he transforms.

After this, we get to see Brawl transform from vehicle mode to robot mode. Of note, his barrel retracts into his turret telescopically when changing.

After this, it's non-stop action. Battle scenes featuring all the Autobots are rapidly played. The one that stands out most is when Bumblebee clubs Starscream and sends him flying into a building. A scene with a wrecking ball is also entertaining.

Lastly, we see the battle of all battles. Optimus Prime vs. Megatron. It starts out with Megatron flying around a city and Optimus Prime hunting him down by leaping from rooftop to rooftop. Prime eventually leaps and lands on Megatron (who is in jet mode).

The scene changes, then both leaders are on a rooftop, and the brawl begins.

I like the intro looks almost the same great CG quality like the Movie. And the greatest thing of all it's the realtime grafic from Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. :D

Yay! Brawl does something, finally!

Such a cool robot, shame my two favourite movie bots (him and Bonecrusher) are the most underused.

It wasn't an insult. And if you can't get over that the movie designs are complex, you might as well just quit posting, cause nobody wants to hear your bitching.

If you don't wanna hear bitchin, then let it be.

Megatron does look like crap. ILM and the makers of this game are miracle workers.

Give me a G1 transformer, or even an Armada transformer over that pile of turd.

And really, Geewunner?

That "insult", if you can call it that, is not only incredibly lame, it actually sounds, for want of a better phrasing, gay.

Understand that last bit is not meant to offend anyone, but it's how me friend would say it, and I spent all day with him today, so his poison kinda seeped in :P

I read that you didn't mean it as an insult, but my comment still stands.

Besides the point anyway. The game looks excellent, and I look forward to purchasing for my lovely Wii. I will thoroughly enjoy bashing that fugly Megatron to bits with Bumblebee.

wooooooooow :o :o :o :o

Those are some AWESOME cinematics! Im glad they got these animators to do the FMV.

Glad to finally see Brawl in action, and Jazz has some snazzy moves on him which is great!

The intro is very Terminator-esque isnt it, i felt like i was watching the beginning of T2 for a while then. Its not a bad thing by no means, i think its a nice homage.

Prime jumping onto Megs mid-air was great too, i hope we get to do all this stuff during the game. This will look great on the 360 and i cant wait to play it! When is the release date again?

im pretty sure its a different developer doing the cutscenes and FMV sequences. so the in-game graphics should be just fine. not wasting time. the only thing i do hope is that there isnt a terrible framerate and slowdown for ps3 like in Spiderman 3 the game. other than that. im really happy with the way its shaping up. anything on downloadable content for ps3?

Well, that video pretty much sold me on the game. Definitely going to get it now. But, since it's not co-op I don't see the point it wasting $60 for it on 360. It'll be the PC version for me.

I also think it would be cool if a Transformers game like Marvel: Ultimate Alliance was made. Hope it happens.

You are indeed correct. The guys doing the FMV have nothing to do with the actual game play side of things, and as far as i can tell the in-game graphics are looking pretty sweet too. Well, at least the 360 version is.

i thought so. is there any word at all on downloadable content, for either ps3 or 360? the ps3 in-game graphics at the moment, look either exactly the same, or a very very little bit worse. (extremely small bit). which i can understand because as of the moment, developers are still favouring 360. but im hoping thats not the case. they will be alot better soon im guessing. (not starting a console war arguement,if thats what it looks like)

Multiplatform games usually look better on high end pc's, but as for the consoles the 360 usually wins on that one since it does actually have better hardware than the PS3. The PS3 lacks power in vital areas, and its alot more complicated to develop for hence why it usually has the inferior graphics because the developers get lazy, or simply cant figure out how to push the hardware. Sony messed up big time there.

I dont think we will see much difference when it comes to graphics between the two systems any more though. They are both (relatively) comparable systems and it wont be the massive difference we used to see when comparing xbox games to ps2 games that we saw in the past.

The only difference we will see is maybe slightly better load times for the PS3, better frame rates for the 360, better lighting and exposure for the 360(because all PS3 games seem to look washed out and bleached), slightly sharper textures for the PS3 and better particle effects for the 360.

Not really anything huge or drastic like last gen. The main differences and advantages and disadvantages now take the form of price tags and online capabilities and you havnt got to be an expert in games to know which of the two systems has the upper hand in that department.

I wont even give the Wii a mention as thats not even a "next-gen/current-gen" system.

And its amazing how stubborn some fans are being and not accepting the fact that its not G1. People can accept megs with a head that looks a Stag Beetle, or the power ranger optimus with his "megazords". But the minute they reinvision characters for another interpretation people get pissy and complain to no end.

S.O.R.D.D. Same old rant different day!!!!

I am definitely going to get that gmae, on 360.. its graphics are way better then all other systems.. wii has its good points, but 360 has the graphics engine i need for hi Definition and quality.. if i wanted the things that the Wii has, I wouldn't have bought my Laptop, Acer, DVDRW, dual processor, with the ultra graphics card for high speed gaming online...I actually bought this with those features for work. I had it built when i opened this company of mine...

I wouldnt give Nintendo any credit for being "innovative" since all they do is use old gimmicks and release sequel after sequel of mario games...

I wouldnt take anything that GS says seriously, they are idiots. Plus of course Sony is going to claim the ps3 is only using 20% of its power, they are full of lies and want their system to sound good. Every company is going to try and make their crap sound good, its called business. :P

Fact is developers are having alot of trouble even getting close to realizing the systems full potential because it just doesnt have power where it counts to fully take advantage of the cell processor. Check out IGN and their technical comparison charts for the PS3 and 360, you will be surprised just how lacking the PS3 is in most areas.

As for GS's graphics comparison, i think i saw the 360 take more wins than the PS3 did, but for the most part they were identical.

Truth is niether system has come close to realizing its full potential yet but when you look at the technical sheets for the PS3 and how hard of a time developers are having with the hardware things dont look good for it. Especially when you take into account the stupid price tag and useless online compenent and the overkill expensive gimmick that is blue ray.

I expect the TF game on the PS3 to have some major frame rate issues like its version of F.E.A.R. did, and Spiderman 3.

I am only getting the PSP version as thats the only system I have that they currently still make things for.

I know thats the same ole rant, but then you have people like kimmer that keep saying the same ole' "complaints"

It still looks like a pile of moving donkey poo. I don't see why you 'consider this a victory'. Seriously, stop all the 'geewunner' wannabe insult crap.

It wasn't an insult. And if you can't get over that the movie designs are complex, you might as well just quit posting, cause nobody wants to hear your bitching.
Complex does not equal good. Too bad you have yet to realise that.
Some people are just so easily pleased with piss poor designs.

yeah, it's amazing to me how easily pleased some people here are. i'll never call that junk pile megatron and i'll never get over how the people behind the movie screwed the g1 fans over. all the bots suck ass but "megs" and fuglyscream definately take the cake.

Its amazing to me how lame this arguement continues to be.

I just find it sad that some people just can't accept change.

Hey, keep it on topic people.

This argument about the designs has been going on for a long time now, this thread is about the intro to the movie game, nothing else.

Is that Ironhide throwing the wrecking ball into Brawl, or is that Prime? I can't really tell.

Last I heard psp version still has the open evironment and the ability to destoy mass amounts of stuff, its just the graphics will suffer only slightly. :P Plus the G1 content is cool because its like a true exclusve to the PSP. I may eventually get a WII, the wife is warming up to the idea somewhat, but not enough to warrant getting it, If I ever do, thenI'll get the game for that system. Or if the ps3 goes down to 150 dollars then I might get that. :-?

You would have thought the way GM has a huge stake in most of the cars in the film they would have forced a Vette into the film, and, naturally, it would be blue, and named...Tracks.

I feel your pain. Tracks needs more love.
