Via the official product page for the figures over on Gaki-DVD.Yoshimoto.co.jp, we have some new images of the previously reported set of Titan Masters molded after the Japanese comedy duo Downtown: Transformers Hamada Robo ~ Donalimas ~ & Transformers Matsumoto Robo ~ Guilty Mass ~! These two new robots turn into the faces of the two comedians from the Science Laboratory skit of their show “Downtown no Gaki no Tsukai ya Arahende!” (“Downtown’s This Is No Task for Kids!”), where they are dressed up as scientists and have round glasses.
We also get to see the Cerebros head ready to be attached to Fortress Maximus, which was missing from the previous story. As a reminder, the promotional set will only be available via puchasing the Limited Edition BluRay/DVD of Downtown's work, which will come with a serial number to pre-order the figures, which cost ￥9,504, between November 28th 2017 and January 31st 2018. Release is expected to take place in summer 2018. Take a look below!

You would want Flywheels to be an exclusive straight repaint of Blitzwing?
Because these and those Street Fighter figures are not "replacing" any possible main Transformer figure their exclusives made in small amounts in addition to the main line.
The only reason the Street Fighter ones are being made is because it's their 30th anniversary.
Plus Takara has already released the head as a separate thing, if he was being made it would have happened by now.

On one hand I'm obliged to get every single headmaster using the Titans Return system on the other hand this is just too weird.
(Where I could make the Street Fighter ones into Transformer versions of the characters like Metallikato or Circuit-Su martial Artists with names like Vegatron I can't really justify flesh faces)

Well if Funpub cant make it, somebodys gotta do it. Especially since the official head actually exists. Im considering buying the M. Bison set just to use him as a stand in for Flywheels. Thats unless Hasbro suprises us with a POTP Flywheels to go with their leaked Battletrap that we know is coming. Also, I crap on the term "exclusive". This is the age of internet shopping and the only thing exclusive about any of these niche repaints is the price. If you want em bad enough they can be shipped to your front door for a price.

But Im not a big fan of painted customs that start to chip if you touch them. I could care less if it was a KO, as long as the plastic is the actual colors of Flywheels.

"Exclusive" means "what company gets the lions share of the rights to sell it." thats the difference.
Pretty sure Flywheels got leaked too. I want to say the leak was actually for "Flytrap" and "Battlewheel" and they came with each other's pantsso you would be "forced" to buy both (even though 98% of us already would) but I coukd be mistaken

That would be the corporate definition of "exclusive". But since were not suits I would argue that the collector definition is same mold made in the same factory sold for a different price.
I wish you were right about flywheels, but no leak. But after we got the clones plus a kickback to complete the insecticons, I believe we will see a Flywheels. But it still would be nice to complete the Botcon duocon team as well.

No matter how you cut the "exclusivity" cake, the exclusive venue in question will always be the first in line to sell these items, either directly to its Japanese customers, or to Japan-based resellers (aka the "middle men") and from there on to sellers outside of the country. That's all there is to it.

With the Tokyo Comic Con in full swing, we have some new images to share with you courtesy of Twitter users Masabon2011 and 7777_diver. To all those Titan Master completionists, there are still two out there. They are part of the Transformers & Downtown no Gaki no Tsukai ya Arahende!! Crossover, and part of a set that includes a Cerebros/Fortress retool. The two Titan Masters that come with it, Donarimasu and Guchirimasu, are made to resemble the stars of the show Downtown no Gaki no Tsukai ya Arahende!! (which means “Downtown’s This Is No Task for Kids!”) in their scientist roles. This was a mail order exclusive in Japan, and the offer was only given to those who ordered a DVD of the show. The sets are coming in and we now have in hand images, which gives us our first look at the packaging. The images come to us from twitter users @akahukutoorimon and @INCHIKIBANCYO
The images also show us how the retooled head looks like on Legends Grand Maximus.

SON OF A BISCUIT! I thought there were already images of this, I literaly saw this dude at a collectable place on sunday called frank and sons! shouldve snapped sum picks!

Yes, it was in the u.s., there were only two of them, they are in a place called frank and sons in socal city of industry, they were 350 a piece, and i cant snap pics cuz i hardly go there cuz its a long drive, sorry.

Every time Trump says something stupid about trade and imports with our allies I fear he's going to say something about instating consumer custom fees to get us to buy domestically. I feel like it's coming eventually in the next two years.
