DeathReviews wrote:It's a little late to be 'promoting' TLK isn't it? The movie went in and out of theaters, and it's been on DVD for a few weeks. Seems to me the ship set sail a long time ago. Unless of course, they're trying to lure people into buying all the TLK figures that they made too much of...
It's not out in Japan until December 13.

The event took place at the Main Stage area and featured a guest performance by musician/comedian Junichi Davidson, along with some toy showing off, what looks like some singing and a transformation contest (perhaps), according to Japanese movie news website eiga.com. Snuck in with all the promotion, Takara also showed off a Gold Version of the Optimus Prime figure from the movie's toyline, to accompany the likes of the Golden Vector Shield and the Clear Voyager Optimus available in the country with the BluRay released of the film. Check out some images below!

There are also some nice pieces to help build the world these characters live in such as the knights and statues. You can tell by looking over the pictures in this set how well all of these things create an environment that feels truly epic. One of the coolest features in the gallery is the up close look at all of the detailed swords in the movie, including Excalibur.
If you enjoy Furio Tedeschi's Artwork, we reccomend having a look at his concept art of Barricade and the Giant Robot Snake.

The latter was apparently involved in launching his latest single, a collaboration between the artist and the Transformers franchise, titled Emblem. This is not the first song connected to the movie, as Torches received both the Chinese release treatment with a cover by Zhang Jie and the original version in the trailer from X Ambassadors, as well as Steve Jablonsky and Celldweller working on the score. The track, which you can find on iTunes here, or check out a sample below, is closer to the style of the latter as you'll see - give it a listen!

The instructions are simple enough, all one has to do is to rent the movie from Tsutaya's chain of stores and From there the entrant must answer a brief questionnaire to be entered. From there you will stand a chance to win (A) TLK-15 Calibur Optimus Prime, (B) TLK-19 Megatron or (C) RC Autobot Sqweeks. It's pretty simple, best of luck to our Japanese fans in entering the contest! More information can be found on Tsutaya's page regarding the contest.

Burt, meanwhile, has shared two images through his Twitter account. The first is an early concept for Barricade's appearance in The Last Knight, hewing much closer to his appearance in previous films with iconic character features like his long arms and insectoid face. (An animated version of the Barricade concept can be found on Burt's Instagram by following this link.) The second picture is another rough idea for Daytrader (simply called "Trader" here), appearing much thinner and far less similar to Hound in body-type, as well as sporting long "hair", goggles and a bandanna.
Check out the images below, and share any thoughts you may have in the Energon Pub Forums! It seems like concept art for The Last Knight is showing no signs of stopping either, so keep your optics tuned to Seibertron.com for any more Transformers news - movie-related or otherwise - that comes around!
