And now, we have the full Thrustinator gallery for your perusal. Thrustinator is a merging of Beast Wars Waspinator and Beast Machines Thrust. An homage to the BM storyline where it's revealed that Vehicon General Thrust is powered by the spark of Waspinator. The original figure was known as Dirgegun, from Beast Wars II (a Japanese exclusive line and TV show.) and now, Hasbro's take on the mold is finally available to the fans!

I know I asked this before, but how many TFs can do a gunface sort of thing, where the robot head is replaced/covered/transforms into a gun? Not including instances where a bot can shoot/spit things with their normal noggin.

Maybe Dirgegun and BWII cartoon Bighorn were the only ones who can shoot projectiles from their face before Lockdown. I wouldn't count Dinobot or Unicron because they had laser eyes.
By far, the only Transformers toys with gunfaces.

Seibs got an advance copy during BotCon. That's also when we found out he's last to be sent out (he's number 6a) along with Eject

Switched upper arms I believe. Currently there are a lot of QC fails:
- Cannonball has switched upper legs, and weak plastic on the hips of some figures which cracks easily
- The Wingspan Type Pirate has the wrong fender: it uses the car type which causes a gap in vehicle mode. Apparently nobody realised the Jet Vehicon mold has its own fender, separate from both RiD and the retooled AM Car types.

Sabrblade wrote:The back pieces of his armpits are each upside-down and on the wrong sides of the body.
To use Energon Scorponok for visual reference, it's the orange armpit pieces seen in these pictures, which are purple on the BotCon toy:
Notice how, in these pics, the pieces each have a slope that runs down the body. On the BotCon figure, since the pieces were swapped and attached upside-down, the slopes run upward on the figure instead of downward.
Thus, the big shoulder pieces are unable to fold outward all the way, making him look like he's constantly holding his shoulders in a mid-shrug position, as seen here:
Instead of like this:
The way to fix this is to simply unscrew both pieces with a small Philips head screwdriver, and reattach them on their opposite sides of the body in their correct positions.
But note that front half pieces of the armpits are NOT swapped (at least on mine, they weren't), so those may not need to be swapped either. Take note of their position in this pic (the blue pieces with the gold outlines behind the translucent yellow side cannons):
This is the correct position for these two pieces, and Ryan's figure seems to have gotten it right for these two pieces as well (which are now orange with a green outline):

That's right, we won't be showing you images right here, but rather linking you to the first Members Only gallery on Seibertron.com. You must be logged in to click on the images and reveal what's beneath, so as not to ruin the fun for anyone still waiting for their own new toy. So buckle up, brace for spoilers, and head to the gallery if you're ready for its sheer magnificence. We'll be holding on to some red banners for a while yet.

Eventually. Once we get confirmation that the mystery figure is starting to ship and wait a little bit afterwards, we'll unveil the mystery figure's true identity.

I have happily been running with Energon Towline as Twincast for a while now. Its, uh, a news van for an alt mode, and the right general colors... well, close.
Posted by Sabrblade on July 30th, 2014 @ 11:24pm CDT
It's been said to be too close in colors to the deco of the standard Soundwave version. It'd just be another primarily blue version of that toy, which has already been done twice between both the Hasbro and Takara releases of that mold.AutobotAlvaron wrote:Does this make anyone else wonder if Has/Tak will ever make a Twincast out of that Blaster mold? It would have been better had Takara released the original Twincast in any other color than blue back in 1987. At least Soundblaster didn't sport a mostly red deco, emulating the original deco of his rival, like Twincast did with his blue deco.

That's rubbish, as I mentioned they already posted 2 news stories revealing this figure identity already. If they really respected the clubs wishes they won't have posted either story. Similar if they wanted to respect the Club's wishes why not actually wait until the official release to show the gallery instead of jumping the gun and doing this mess.

Why wait for Hasbro ? Pick up a Blaster and Soundwave and you can do it yourself...
On a side note, covering each individual photo with a "teaser alert" was tremendous overkill. Just leaving the teaser alert on the link would have been sufficient. The one person on Earth who cares about not ruining the surprise wouldn't bother to click on the link.

This was just me having fun with all of this. It just took about 10 hours of programming, creating graphics and extensive testing to change the functionality of the galleries to make it so we can now have select "Members Only" galleries and "Spoiler" galleries if needed. Each individual thumbnail wasn't replaced, it's just some simple programming to make the gallery display the real thumbnail or a "spoiler" thumbnail.
Now that I have implemented the new gallery functionality, I will probably start using this on special galleries in the future. I already have some special galleries planned that I don't see the point of having be available to the public initially.

We provided spoiler space in both stories and didn't put the character's name in the title.

To avoid the opposite of your statements which are ... "thanks for spoiling this for me" and other similar comments. This little experiment just shows that there's just no pleasing everyone. Damned if I do, damned if I don't!
leokearon wrote:All it does it makes it more inconvenient for everyone.
It's not really inconvenient. There's ONE extra link that you have to click to disable the spoiler view and go back to the regular gallery view. That's it! Just one extra link you have to click.

Seibertron.com exists to bring fans news, information, and entertainment . We jump through all sorts of hoops to do this. If we wait until a figure is released, someone will inevitably jump the gun. We always like to be first with news ... it doesn't always happen, but we certainly try to be first!
If you have any other questions, please let me know. Thanks for participating on Seibertron.com.

Thanks Ryan. My friend Eddie did this custom for me. He used a certain type of paint that comes in a tube to match the shade of blue perfect. I wish I could remember the name of the paint. Also, there were a lot of pins that needed to be popped out and a heating pin was needed to do so. It was no easy task. Props go to Eddie.
