Scroll down, you'll see it. So what, no honorable mention?
I can tell you, these just have yet to export to BBTS or any of the other sites, so don't hold your breath on this one.
I didn't bother reporting this as news cause it probably is gonna end just the way you're seeing it.
IF anything, the $250 dam good G1 HeadMaster Arcee which they've had for a while is far more noteworthy than the clay annoying kid.

While human characters would be nice (though at the end of the day, not really necessary), static ones would just be too boring. Energon Kicker was a good example of how to fit human characters into the TF toy line.

Seriously, what are the odds of that??!!!!

You'd be amazed at the number of people that asked the Hasbro panel at Botcon whether or not there would be a Sari figure. Thats the only reason I even posted this as its not much to go off of in the first place. Plus that Arcee looks awesome.

I thought so too.
Which is precisely why today I bought a G.I. Joe scale Shia Labeouf from the new Indiana Jones toy line - . -

True. And while I have no real problem with human characters getting toys (provided we're not flooded with them) i'd much prefer a jointed figure like Energon Kicker over a static one.
I mean how am I suppose to play with my humans and TF's if the humans can't move and be posed?

Ah yeah, thats just dumb. Like the old school army soldiers that came 1000 in a bag, lol.
I wonder what scale TF's she'd go with though. And she'd definately have to have poseablity and the Allspark key necklace.

I'm gonna guess that she would be scaled to deluxe Bumblebee, she does spend a lot of time with him in the show afterall.

Am I the only thinking they need to pick up this figure, grab their G1 Perceptor, put her beneath his magnifying glass and line it up with the sun?

And really, those army soldiers were pretty cool. Mostly because "back in those days" we hadn't, or were still discovering, Transformers so the army dudes entertained us immensely.

Or maybe I was just a very lonely child.

Yeh come on, those army guys were freakin great! You could do all sorts of crazy things with them, and they metlted so quickly. You could simulate Slag's fire breath with such realism. Or just watch the red and yellow Indians have a big fire to sacrife the blue and green cowboys...I guess I was probably lonely too.

Later on in Animated, maybe they'll release a Sari figure with a key that unlocks functions similar to the keys in the Cybertron line. The functions would need to feel more creative and more significant, though, and not be used across the entire line, otherwise kids and collectors alike would feel annoyed. Done right, though, I'd very much enjoy Sar incorporated into the toyline.
Just not like this.

That sounds frighteningly like Kiss*Play...

Eep! Mock me not! It's a bit similar to BTA, before Takara decided to make the human partners into hypersexualized figures who started Transformer motors revving with a kiss. With the Allspark key feature, I understand what you mean, though it's worth mentioning that the Kiss Play figures didn't actually have any toy interaction. So yes, there's the commonality of a female human partner to a Transformer toy, but it's thematically quite different.
And yeah, maybe you were only teasing, but Kiss Play... eesh!

Even if they could fit into the vehicles (which would be a stretch), how/why would kids play with them? I keep remembering the scene in the TF movie where Megs flicked a human into a car and he made a little screaming sound; that's about how useful a tiny figure would be.

Well, I wouldn't go ahead and waste money just to destroy a figurine of Sari, or even KP figures (the latter I'd only get with the acompanying figure and manga, then sell the human and manga on E-bay for a proffit

The reason they don't sell is less to do with having human figures and everything to do with them costing double the price of the included deluxe figure that most collectors already have anyway.
I'd like them to do human figures from Animated, but this isn't the way to do it.

Yeah, I'm not paying $20 for a movie-accurate Longarm with major QC issues (beeding paint, sloppy decaling, and cracked translucents just to name a few examples) and a little legless BB statue that doesn't do anything. personaly, I'm holding off on movie BB untill that BB Legacy pack comes out at Walmart.

I wouldn't mind having some of the scaled human figures for display purposes, but at that price, it's just so not happening.

They look more like handpainted army men mostly to me.

I got my sets on clearance for $13 bucks and proceeded to sell the TF figures to reclaim most of my money. What a pain. Hasbro should have sold sets of these figures along-side the TFs when the movie line started. I'm thinking something like the small Star Wars Unleashed figure packs that seem to be warming shelves nationwide.
I'd have bought a pack of three or four movie characters for $10, no problem. I'm a sucker for having the human sidekicks. I'm still on the hunt for a Heroes of Cybertron Spike to display with my classics....
