For any collectors waiting for a better deal on Transformers at Walgreens and who may have missed out on Black Friday sales, you may well be in luck thanks to tips from Seibertronians carytheone and ScottimusPrime! Until the 2nd of December, Walgreens is holding two different deals for selected products including some Transformers items. It is worth noting here that both deals are only available with a Walgreens rewards card, however.

The first deal is a simple 25% off select Transformers toys - the catalog depicts Rescue Bots, The Last Knight One-Step Changers, Titans Return Deluxes and Cyber Battalion figures; Cary and Scottimus have also both reported that the deal applies to the Walgreens-exclusive Titans Return Clones two-pack, and the similarly-exclusive Brainstorm is also available and discounted on their website. The need for a rewards card does not seem to apply to Brainstorm online - Walgreens is holding a similar site-wide 25% off promotion online during this same time period.

The second deal is a Buy-2-Get-1-Free offer on select "Children's or Plush Toys and Stuffed Animals", depicting a Rescue Bots Chase Epic figure. Both of these deals could well apply to other Transformers toys outside of what is depicted in the catalog, as well, but these are what seem to be confirmed so far.

Check below for the catalog pages, and images from Cary and Scottimus showing the deal's applicability to the Clones set. Well as Hasbro's main outlet, I always felt they were just all placeholder listings and completely unrelated to availability. They are just there to serve as the standard product listing and if there is stock available eventually, the listing is already there and they just have to activate it to show that there is stock. It may never come though. Walmart canada works similarly, but it makes more sense for HTS to work that way since they do establish the standard.

Problem is that HTS doesn't feel like hasbro's main site. They certainly don't take advantage of it like Mattel does with Matty Collector or other companies do with their own websites. HTS often feels like a second thought that only gets overstock.

Not sure if it was reported during Black Friday, but there was a $10 off $20 eBay coupon code floating around. I think it worked for some people who tried early in the day, but not for many, including me. I just checked my eBay inbox and noticed that eBay sent me a new $10 off $20 code yesterday and good until Wednesday. Apparently it was a technical glitch that didn't allow the use of the code on Friday. It's all good now, and I was able to use it to snag a TR Misfire at a decent price. So if you tried the code during BF and it didn't work, definitely check your inboxes if you haven't already.

I had been waiting for Black Friday to pick up Trypticon at the best price possible, but I missed him during the Amazon Lightning deal. The Cyber Monday price is certainly a nice consolation and I was able to snag one for $88 after tax and a few Amazon gift cards from Bing! Super happy with that price and hopefully it's a later version with all the issues fixed.

The new code is definitely specific to me. But the old one was a generic one. I'm guessing eBay has a record of who tried it unsuccessfully and is sending them a new one, but can't confirm this. I learned of the old code from another forum and I know a lot of folks didn't have luck initially.

I do not know if anyone else had luck this morning on Hasbrotoyshop.com. I was able to get a Dreadwind this morning at 5:32 AM Central time for $13.74 shipped with 25% off and free shipping. The only other POP figure in stock at that time was Jazz. Jazz sold out soon after as I have been checking all morning for restock. I'm glad I snagged Dreadwind as he was only available from third party on Amazon. I did get a full set of POP Dinobots on Sunday from Amazon ordered.

The Bumblebee Evolution 3-pack was originally released at a $59.99 price point on Amazon and contains 3 deluxe class figures. The first figure is a repaint of the original 1970's Camaro Bumblebee figure, representing the very first appearance of movie Bumblebee. The 2nd figure to be included is a repaint of the Age of Extinction Bumblebee, who turns into a 1967 black Camaro. The final figure in the 3-pack is a repaint of his newer The Last Knight design. It's also noteworthy that this version of Bumblebee has been difficult to obtain, so anyone looking for this particular figure may want to seriously consider the set!

Seems odd thing to say when the regular single release doesn't have the hammer either. Only the Takara one does. And mine cos I bought a third party hammer. So it's not really a minus since it wasn't there to begin with. Takara's is a plus.

Would have been nice to include the hammer but I'm happy with the third party one and certainly don't need Takara's figure since the actual figure itself is no different. I was more disappointed that Hasbro didn't put any weapon at all with Hot Rod, never mind his cool time gun from the film.

I ran into the TRU sale. They cleaned out a LOT of stuff I had reported in the toy sightings page. Went from having 5 or 6 Infernocus down to 2, and I think all the MPM Bee's went off the shelf. Some of the shelf-warmers moved as well. I'm hopin' that after the sale we might see some new stuff. I'm still hopin' deluxe Cogman will hit the shelfs sometime. I don't wanna pay $50+ on ebay. #-o

Starting a few days ago and continuing for another nine, Hasbro Toy Shop is running a "12 Days, 12 Ways to Save" promotion where each day reveals a new online deal that can be used for 24 hours. On the third day of the promotion, we finally have a code applicable to Transformers: Using the code 12DEALS at checkout, you can obtain 30% off one item of your choice! Naturally, this includes Transformers items.

Unfortunately, though all Power of the Primes Wave 1 figures except Leaders are listed (Prime Masters, Legends, Deluxe and Voyager are all on the site), they're all "Out of Stock" currently - or in the specific case of Legends Skrapnel, have an availability date of December 11th. Thanks to our very own, Cyrano we are now aware that Titans Return Overlord is Amazon's Deal of the Day. This figure costs $34.84 and comes with free shipping. This offer is only for today so be sure to place your order before tomorrow. Titans Return Overlord is a leader class figure with four modes which makes him pretty cool. He also comes with his own titan master, Dreadnaut. He has both robot and battle station modes but can split into a tank and jet at the same time. Which means this figure is a retool of Titans Return Sky Shadow, though these two figures are sculpted different to set them apart. From the unique colors, shoulder armor and head sculpt Overlord looks a lot like he does in the Titans Return mini series.

If you are a fan of Overlord, you definately should check out his design artwork.

Looks like they are doing "slow" free shipping on orders over $25, must be a holiday or select items thang.

Thanks to a tip from fellow Seibertronian Emerje, we have word of yet another online sale as we enter the holiday season! Amazon is holding a deal on "Favorite Character Toys" at the moment, with up to 35% off selected items, including some Rescue Bots toys and the gargantuan blue 'bot himself, Titans Return Fortress Maximus.

The Rescue Bots are all reduced by about $4-5 and average about $10 each, while Fortress himself has been discounted from $149.99 all the way down to $84.70. This price also seems to qualify for free shipping within the United States, so for those still on the fence about grabbing the toy, now might be the time! We have yet to receive news of Power of the Primes figures showing up in the continent, but this may just fall for the first distribution wave of the new toyline, if we're lucky.
