Seems odd thing to say when the regular single release doesn't have the hammer either. Only the Takara one does. And mine cos I bought a third party hammer. So it's not really a minus since it wasn't there to begin with. Takara's is a plus.

I was sort of referencing how it was a big thing in the movie and how only the takara version, which I am getting, has it. i still cannot understand why they did not make a hammer for him

yeah I know but it was still kinda backwards.
Would have been nice to include the hammer but I'm happy with the third party one and certainly don't need Takara's figure since the actual figure itself is no different. I was more disappointed that Hasbro didn't put any weapon at all with Hot Rod, never mind his cool time gun from the film.

I ran into the TRU sale. They cleaned out a LOT of stuff I had reported in the toy sightings page. Went from having 5 or 6 Infernocus down to 2, and I think all the MPM Bee's went off the shelf. He also comes with his own titan master, Dreadnaut. He has both robot and battle station modes but can split into a tank and jet at the same time. Which means this figure is a retool of Titans Return Sky Shadow, though these two figures are sculpted different to set them apart. From the unique colors, shoulder armor and head sculpt Overlord looks a lot like he does in the Titans Return mini series.

Considering the variety of brands they carry, I doubt it's a conspiracy, but man it always seems to work out this way. Just like when TRU does a TF exclusive BoGo deal, the pegs always seem to empty!



I did snag a Ramhorn (which was in stock for way longer than expected) and a few other figures to pad out the shipping. All in all getting one and for less than I expected to pay was a win win. And that's the important thing here
