I was loving the diorama Ark in the background. Man that brings me back to just being a kid and playing with action figures in the backyard.

Just checked, it definitely does. Doesn't necessarily mean it'll be on the final figure, but it's a good sign seeing it turn up again.

Maybe it’s something cool and dangerous like the Decepticon air guard sigil, pshh, because you know Seekers, so elitist.

Or the designers can't tell (or rather, don't bother with) the minute differences between the G1 and Movie styles.
Again, definitely getting the Off Road Patrol. btw, did anyone else notice that aside from the Air Strike Patrol, the members of any given Patrol chosen for Siege are not gang-molded (i.e. share plastic colors) back in G1?

Makes me hope their "other partners" might be hiding somewhere... but I've been pleasantly impressed with the diversity of colors in the two packs.

The legs look weird on the car bots to me photo wise but not been tempted to get any yet.

Barricade's (Prowl) legs? Yeah, they don't photograph well, but they look much better in person. Some of that is the weird "heel" on them like the MP "Zs"

I'll raise ya this:
Has anyone seen a resurgence of Wave 1 in their local area? I've seen Wave 2 Deluxe and Voyager only for a while, but now Wave 1 is back with a vengeance.

The Micromaster Combiner Mega-Mega-Mega...Mega Missile Firefuseblaster (tm pending) is a fearsome force on the Cybertronian battlefield. Although it's ridiculous appearance induces peals of disabling laughter, once the fireblasts are attached the enemy is rapidly reduced to heaping piles of smoking Deceptiswiss cheese...Predacon Provolone...Combaticon Camembert...Terrorcon Teleggio…I could do this all day...

I think the battle damage paint applications have been rolled back on Barricade since the last time we saw him. There are only a few scratches on the driver's side bumper/fender. (The paint apps might mirrored be on the passenger side too, but you can't really tell from these pictures.) Maybe that was the compromise to add the "To Punish and Enslave" Cybertronian text to his doors? What's more interesting, though, is the story this tells through paint applications. It looks like Barricade is no stranger to using the PIT maneuver, just like police do in a high speed chase to stop a fleeing vehicle. That's exactly where you would see paint scraping on a real car trying to spin out another car along side them.
Anyone notice that Highjump has a bit of battle damage paint on his passenger side front fender? I thought the Micromasters and Battle Masters were to be spared the battle paint applications. This could just be some paint slop, but then again, there's another weird splotch of silver paint on his chest. Or maybe, that paint on the chest is supposed to be there...on Powertrain. If you look at the G1 toy and the initial renders of the Siege version, you'll see Powertrain has an offset silver rectangle decoration on his chest.
Maybe something got messed up at the factory level and people started putting the silver rectangle on Highjump instead? Then maybe the silver paint on the fender of Highjump is just paint slop/residue left over from the hand painting process...applied to the wrong toy.

Yes. I.... I do believe that is the movie version of the Decepticon Symbol that was also present on Starscream.
Unexpected consistency...
What is the big deal with movie vs classic symbols? It took me until 2014 to learn there was a difference, and even then, it is so subtle and hardly a thing to be concerned with.

It's more just that Hasbro can't seem to keep it straight themselves, frequently mixing up the two versions of the Decepticon symbol within a line, or even within a boxset.

Those hoping for a bruiser of a 'bot, like Ironhide, will likely be disappointed- Brunt is barely taller than Prowl. Given that this is the first time he's ever had a robot mode (though his tank mode is fairly faithful to his G1 toy), and the fact that he adds to the Decepticon ranks, this is likely something that can be overlooked. Brunt should be showing up in Wave 3, along with his wavemates, Reflector Refraktor and Red Alert, sometimes in late June or early July.
Let us know what you think of the first look at Brunt's first toy in 32 years, and comment down below with your thoughts!

I used to not be able to tell and thought super fans were being way too scrutinizing and I’d be chastised were my secret ever revealed...then one day I saw it, and now I can’t unsee it, and the eyes are funky why the hell did they change it in the first place.

Yeah, one of my local Walmarts restocked with Deluxe wave 1, enough to fill the pegs. Both stores have been restocking wave 1 of everything else pretty regularly, but Deluxe had moved on to wave 2 a while ago.

Good eye! That does seem to be the case. I hope they fix that on release. What I do like about these two is they both look like they'd form acceptable guns on their own, especially Powertrain.

Guys, you can still post anything related on the boards. No one will and should stop you. With Optibotimus though, we wouldnt front page it, since he asked us not to. But that's only something for news staff to worry about, anyone can post his reviews on the forum.
The reason we wouldn't news this regardless is because we already posted a video review on jetfire a while ago.
Also, if you guys want to better post the videos, just use the last bit at the end of the youtube links that has a wierd code. In the case of the jetfire review, its: 9WPFUSO8SOI
then wrap it around with the youtube button we have above ""
that would give you this:

They have been known for translating errors that brought hope to fans before. So i would just wait to see if there is anything different at all.

My dad was a recreational photographer back when I was little, mainly family pictures and natural scenery. He had an old-style photo camera, same style as G1 Reflector, even with switch-out lenses. He had a knack for it.

Not that that really means anything considering how quickly the popular characters get remade. This line is supposed to go three years with different sub names, right? They just did Jazz in Power of the Primes, so no Jazz in WFC? Is that really how it works? Wasn't that long ago Prowl, Ironhide and Mirage (and others) got made in Combiner Wars. Wasn't Chromia from Titans Return?
Anyway, my point is probably more that this toy could easily be retooled into a pre-earth Perceptor moreso than whether they'll actually do it.
