These images really show us the extent of the retooling done to the molds, as these 3 figures are based off of Titans Return/Legends Misfire, Twintwist, and Overlord. Important to note is that the tank half of Overlord appears to have had the turret removed entirely, allowing Dai Altas to have 1 singular alternate mode as a jet with tank treads underneath.
We also get a good glimpse at all 3 figures in what appears to be "base modes" and we also see their cool new accessories.
The figure is currently up for pre-order from the Mall for 15,000 yen (Around $135 USD) and has a March 2019 arrival date.
Check out the images below, and let us know what you think of this figure in the comments section below!

Of so, can they make it into the Deluxe-sized master version of Cyclonus that we should have gotten?

Why would cyclonus be a deluxe?
Anyways, Sonic Bomber is taken from Misfire

Oh jeez!!! I couldn't even tell! I do see it now... But only in the shoulders...
Anyhow, Deluxe because ALL of the other Target master characters in Titans Return were Deluxe, and I would like a matching set.

Start by preordering this one. The listing states that if there are not enough preorders, it will not be made.

How about we start with just Star Saber and work it up from there?

I'm still under the impression that John Warden wants to make a Hasbro-released Star Saber.Skritz wrote:Ultra Markus wrote:they are a thing of beauty! now lets have Victory Saber as well

Then go online and get the CHUG Cyclonus that came out ten years ago. It’s been released a half a dozen times

I have that one about three times, myself. But it still doesn't match the others as it isn't a headmaster titanmaster.

Of note is that the Dai Atlas Headmaster confirms him to be based on the Sky Shadow version of the tooling, not Overlord as he uses the Ominus parts, not the Dreadnaut ones.

And as perfect as the OverShadow mold turns out to be for Dai Atlas, this makes him the third character I can hear screaming at me in unison: "How has this mold STILL not been retooled into Thunderwing?!?"

You need to ship it to a japanese adress. but there are shipping forwArding services out there in Japan that let you ship to them and then they ship it to you.
Emerje can tell you more about that.

Mayhaps a good time to recycle the name Roadburn if it ever came to that.
william-james88 wrote:Emerje can tell you more about that.
Sure, but the shipping and fees would be so high on a set this big and the impact on the order numbers so low that I wouldn't recommend it. I won't be doing it, I'll be sticking with TFSource.
But I'm not seeing anything on the order page about an order minimum needing to be placed before these are produced, where is this stated? Instead I see a spot that says a limited number is being produced and sales will end when the number is reached. "This item has limited quantity. If it reaches sales reserve number, sales may end before the due date." Sounds like production is a sure thing to me.

BBTS should be a safe bet, I'm pretty sure all the LG-EX release have shown up there. That's where I'm looking out for it.

Ha! How timely, BBTS has it up for preorder for $159 this morning. Reserved mine.

The quote comes directly from TFW's front page:
Big Powered is scheduled for release in March of 2019 and will run 15,000 yen. According to a fast Google translation, if this set does not get a minimum number of pre-orders it may be cancelled
But now i am pretty sure it was a misinterpretation of that statement. So its all good.
And as TF Fan Kev said, this is up on BBTS.
These are always a bit trickier for me since it gets very pricey for me to buy from an importer. I usually wait until they show up on the secondary Japanese market and buy them there to offset the cost. I end up paying as much as if I was an american buying from BBTS, but it takes a while.

The little guys are the characters' real selves in Japan, not separate-character partners. In this case, Dai Atlas and co. are the small guys while the larger ones are just lifeless bodies they control.william-james88 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:You do know why that is, yes?JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Pics are up of the whole package, robot mode and vehicle mode. It wouldn't make sense for the little guys to look like Speeder, Sonic, and Drillbuster when they're supposed to be Dai Atlas, Sonic Bomber, and Roadfire themselves.

Nice. $160, I guess I'll have to see how things turn out next tax season. I'm not going to pre-order this unless I see the potential of it selling out quickly. There are still plenty of LGEX Grand Max, Metroplex, and Greatshot that are still all on my want list as well, but are quite plentifully in stock at BBTS.

Its cheaper than past LGEX toys.
Past LGEX toys have been at these prices (from importers):
Deluxe: $40
Voyager: $60
Leader: $80-$95
So 2 deluxes and a leader could have easily been $175. I am glad its not.

Here are the listings:
BBTS: https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/Product/ ... ails/81630
TF Source: https://tfsource.com/legends-series/lg-ex-big-powered/
Since thes are LG-Ex figures, they will not be available from Japanese retailers like HLJ or Amazon Japan.
This set comprises of Dai Atlas, Sonic Bomber and Roadfire, which are all very heavy retools of the Skyshadow, Misfire and Twin Twist figures released last year. How heavy? Well, we laid out some images below for you tom compare between the original mold and the new toys we are getting. You will also see what the original G1 toys looked like, to see how faithful (or not) these new designs are to them. You can compare between robot modes, alt modes and even base modes. Most G1 images come from this blog post by fellow Seibertronian Scotty P.
Sonic Bomber
Roadfire

Decepticon Stryker wrote:Part of me is hoping for a Violen Jiger toy... Wonder what figure could be remolded into him?
Not sure how they would pull that one off. Plus making an Autobot leader doesn't guarantee we will get his Decepticon counterpart. My Masterpiece Star Saber is still waiting for a proper Dezarus (I'm not counting that awful Sky Lynx repaint) to do battle with & Fort Max & Grand Max really need Scorponok & Black Zarak to go on shelves next to them.
As long as it took to get A new Trypticon, I think we can expect to wait much longer for a Violen Jiger. But I would be glad to be wrong on that one.
