Its more cool when you see them in real life. Ive seen countach, diablo, testarossa, lotus on the street. Ive never seen none of these bay cars on the street. And I live in miami, not some small town. These cars might as well be pure fiction. Dont get me wrong, they look awesome, but it makes the movie kind of fake.

Anyways, million dollar European collector cars are go fast super cars. I personally would love to see such cars in the Transformer Franchise so I can collect them as awesome figures.

I see what you mean. It's cool when you can ACTUALLY own a car that was a transformer. But still.
Just for shiggles, I once saw Countach on the road, driving to Denver. It was all white. I look in my mirror and see it coming up on my tail, and I said "that thing looks like a jet fighter!"

It was never in Chicago after the scene in Washington where it scans the garbage truck...it was never seen again therefore it never died in Dark of the Moon
although if this is the same character i will be surprised that Bay (or whoever) remember such a minor character
then again it is a remold of Long Haul the very same Long Haul that was based on that concept art by Josh that got him hired so i wont be surprised if Josh asked Bay to use him again.

For about 15 seconds. Just like Jolt, the shameless Chevy marketing ploy 'bot.
Posted by TurboMMaster on March 12th, 2014 @ 4:02pm CDT
Yet another guy killed without any chance to even defend himself. Megatron already killed Jazz that way, why we need to see this again?
Yet if he is a decepticon, then his fain't propably won't be any better, either way I already feel sory for him.

Just because you've never seen them doesn't mean there out there. I take frequent trips to Montery Ca. and have seen the Pangani a few times. The Aventor alt mode of Lockdown makes an aperance every now and then in Walnut Creek where I work. Are they rare? Yes. Impossible? No. Don't get me wrong, i hear what you saying. If your trying to stay in disguise then riding around as a 1,000,000 super exotic sports car isn't exactly under cover. Optimus beat up flat nose alt mode really makes more sense than his flashy Western Star truck mode.
....But, i understand that flashy sells. Bright colors, rare fixed up vehicles, concept cars, big trucks.. all look far better on screen than a mini van, or your average SUV or sedan. And for the most part I agree. Moving BB from a VW bug to the new Camaro was proabaly the best thing to come out of the movieverse. From a marketing stand point, it brought loads of attention to the movies, as well as significantly helped GM come back from their bankruptcy.
and lets be honest, nearly every Tf Universe has had wild and crazy alt modes that have been anything but disguises...

So this ins't a bay problem, if anything its a Transformer problem and bay is just keep true to TF roots.

Personally, I think the Trax' will be the movieverse equivalent of Vehicons. There are multiples we've seen together during filming, with Galvatron, so I'm not sure who/what else they could be.

It is not like the character will have any robot screen time save some background shots. They showed Jolt in car mode quite a few times too. But only twice in robot mode. Because it was nothing more than a shameless marketing ploy. They are plugging the car, not the bot.

Yeah, I'm sure the fact that it's expensive as all hell to have these guys digitally rendered had nothing to do with having more shots of him in alt mode than bot mode.
I afraid I have issues with your use of "Shameless" in reference to the marketing. It's actually a smart business move. The cars on set are practically donated, thereby saving the studio money. That's more money going into the CGI, which got ramped up exponentially for each film which is exactly what the fans wanted and yet still you found THIS little marketing nugget to grumble about? Endorsement and product placement has only been going on for practically the entire history of cinema. And the Transformers brand in particular has been about two things: The cars and the bots so what else were you expecting to have happen here?

Of course they are not supposed to have screen time the traxes are vehicons
Jolt was added very late into filming so that's why he had little screen time
Jolt had 4 robot scenes too

Yeah, they are. They were created for one single reason. To sell cars.
Just like every other autobot in all four movies, save Prime and Ratchet. Of course, Bumblebee would have been in it even if it were a yellow jalopy due to Spielberg's stupid idea of a "boy and his car". The whole movie premise was a mickey mouse operation from the word go. Created exclusively and only to fulfill the greed of the people who conceived it.
The movies could have been real cool too. Take away Bay and his dick and fart jokes, add some seriously good writing, and choose a cast of better autobots that hang in there, rather than background fodder. Create the actual devastator, rather than apeboy the testicle bot. I could go on and on......
The ONLY good thing that came out of the movies was the transforming eye candy, and that wears thin after the first movie. And any studio could have done that.
Hopefully about ten years from now it will get a reboot and we will finally get the TF movies we deserved. And this whole abomination of a series will be a distant memory.

Dude,
1. The movies aren't that bad. They are awesome!
2. Why are you criticizing on the movie fourms when you don't like the movies?
3. If u say the movies are bad, then why did dark of the moon take in as the 5th top-grossing movie of all time?

Boo Fucking Hoo Bay does not nor never will give a shit about a single individual or a small group of fans
he is making a movie for the general audience who only watch these movies as a summer popcorn flick
they don't care about what Optimus Prime did in the past or who Ratchet is they are not watching this for Shakespeare writing they are watching this for robots pulling each other apart.
and most parents don't care about crude humor anymore in fact back in grade 9 (2 years ago) when i got off my bus a bunch of kids in grade 1 gave me the middle finger and told me to suck a stick kids swear these days... a lot and don't get me started about my fellow teenagers people think i am anti social but really i am trying not to be influenced by them
as a friend of mine from tfw2005 once said
" Action is what makes these movies successful, drama does not appeal to children, giant robots fisting each other does. "
Do the movies have bad jokes: yes
do they have bad writing: yes based on opinion
but bro once again Bay does not care about you or me or any other transformer fanatic.
the perfect Transformers movie will never exist there is no perfect.
