Up first, we get a sample shot of the packaging artwork for Spinout, which features him running headlong into battle screaming his mechanical lungs out, while his car mode races out in front of him through the desert.
Second, we get a good bio for Spinout, which gives us a lot of detail about the character himself, and his connections to the Diaclone universe. It's quite an interesting read too. Now mind you, this was printed in Japanese and translated via Google, so some things might appear a bit odd, but you can follow the link above to read the original and translate it appropriately.
Check out the packaging artwork and the bio below, and let us know what you think of this 3rd use of the MP-39 Sunstreaker mold below!
● Role… Assault Rescuer
● Inscription on the right side… “Not suitable for prolonging history with trivial details”
● Profile
spinout originally used to be a battle machineof another world's earth, but an ancient computer of Cybertron It is an extraordinary existence that was given a life by and became a super robot life form. Although he is a straight-hearted passionate zeal, he shows strong loyalty to the earthlings and is obedient. It clearly remembers the previous life, which was a battle machine, and has internal anxiety about fighting without a pilot.
The appearance of the Lamborghini Countach LP500S, which is a vehicle form of a spinout, is the element that most strongly shows the mystery and paradox of his origin.
The outline is described below.
[Private record of Delta Magnus]:
Our rush operation to secure the outer space facilitywhich preserved the huge memory data of the ancient cybertron was also the worst development. The facility was severely damaged by the fierce battle between Destron and Quintessa, and much valuable information was lost. Fortunately, he was able to recover Cordon's original memory, but he does not seem to install it. And what we got ... was something that was completely different from what we had expected, shaking the history of Sabertron stars. A robot discovered in the deep depths of Dyadem was stored in the chamber at rest for nearly 10 million years. In other words, from that past, an autobot that transforms into a vehicle on Earth has existed in this world!
What is that? According to the records of the Anterior Zeta of Dyadem, spinouts were originally another dimension of the Earth's fighting machine, a castaway thrown into our past world by some spatiotemporal change.-That is the name of the power that the spinout belonged to. Zetas, who analyzed their spacecraft, seemed fascinated by the story of the battle between Diaklon and his enemy, Walder. Or was it already crazy or hijacked ... Anyway, the Zetas took secret measures in hopes of letting us take over Diaklon's mission. Upon sensing the presence of Walder, he created a genetic command that would take the highest priority for automatic extermination behavior and propagated through the worldwide repair device network. It's hard to believe that there was such an intervention in our race, but there are already examples. That is the , in which the streak that encountered the Walder Corps probe insector mutated. You have to take measures!
If Walder were an evil threat to the left, he would fight anyway. But it should be done by our own will and determination!

Every series in the franchise should have it's own designated fuel preparation specialist on the team truly.

No, not what the text says, but how it's written. It's littered with typos and Engrish nonsense.Bumblevivisector wrote:But that's part of the fun! These other translations are better:
MP-39+ Cybertron Rescue & Assault Spinout
Function: Assault & Rescue
Motto: “Don’t embellish history with trivial details.”
Profile: Spinout was originally a battle machine (Car Robot) on an Earth in another dimension, which was unprecedentedly given consciousness by a Cybertron ancient computer, becoming a Super Robot Lifeform. Although impulsive and hotheaded, Spinout demonstrates obedience and loyalty to the Earthlings. He clearly remembers his past life as a battle machine and doesn’t feel confident about fighting without a pilot.
Spinout’s vehicle form is a Lamborghini Countach LP500S, which illustrates both the mystery and paradox behind his origins.
“Delta Magnus’ personal log”
In our haste to secure the outer space facility “Diadem”, which stores vast amounts of ancient Cybertron data, events took a turn for the worst. The facility had been decimated in a fierce battle between the Destrons and Quintessons, and a lot of valuable data had been lost. Fortunately, I was able to recover Cordon’s original memory, but he refused to install it. What we also discovered...was not what we expected. Evidence which completely changes the view of Seibertron’s history. One robot, “Spinout”, was discovered in a chamber in the depths of the Diadem, and had been in stasis for nearly 10 million years. In other words, an ancient robot with an earthen vehicle mode existed on this planet! What is going on? According to the Diadem memory banks “Anterior Zeta”, Spin-Out was originally a battle machine from an Earth in another dimension and was castaway on this ancient planet due to a space-time anomaly. Spin-Out was affiliated with the “Diaclone” force. Zeta had analyzed their spacecraft and seemed fascinated with the events of the Diaclone war against their enemy, the Waruder. Was Zeta crazy or was he hacked...anyway, Zeta ensured the Diaclone mission would continue and put into motion a secret protocol. He created a genetic command program that was spread throughout his repair network on the planet. Upon detecting any Waruder presence the program would automatically take over and ensure their destruction was top priority. It’s hard to believe there had been such an intervention with our race, yet we have already seen examples of this programming. There had already been the “Bluestreak Case”, where the Streak who encountered the Waruder army’s Probe Insecter completely changed. We need to take action! If the Waruder are such an evil menace, I would fight them anyway. Nonetheless, the decision and determination should be our own!
Profile: Spin-out is truly one of a kind. Originally a lifeless war machine known as a “Car Robot”, he was granted true life by an ancient Cybertronian supercomputer, becoming a super robot life-form. Though impulsive and hot-blooded, he has a strong loyalty towards Earthlings, showing a more gentle side around them. Having clear memories of his original existence, he harbours doubts regarding his ability to fight without the directions of a pilot.
Spin-out’s Lamborghini Countach LP500S vehicle mode speaks to the paradoxical nature of the mystery of his home universe. This is outlined below.
from the private records of Delta Magnus
Our plan to assault and secure the ancient Cybertronian Interstellar Storage Installation Diadem, and the vast quantities of data it holds, had taken a truly dismal turn. In the ensuing melee with the combined Decepticon/Quintesson forces… most of the precious data was lost. Of course, I’m delighted that Cordon was able to restore his memories of his origins, but it appears he has no desire to install them. What evidence we were able to recover was not what we expected. Our understanding of Cybertron’s history has been well and truly shaken. Discovered using the mysterious doctrines of Diadem, we found a single robot, Spin-Out, who had been frozen in a capsule for nearly ten million years. This means that Autobots who turn into Earth vehicles have existed in this universe for aeons!
What could this mean? According to the records of Diadem’s artificial brain, Anterior Zeta, Spin-Out is a war machine from the Earth of another dimension, one that became adrift in time and space and landed in our past. “Diaclone” - That is the name of the force he had once belonged to. Through analysis of his spaceship, Zeta came to learn of both Diaclone and their enemies, the “Waruder”, and took interest in their history. Perhaps Anterior Zeta had already lost control, or had been taken over… Regardless, Zeta entrusted to we Cybertronians the mission of Diaclone in secret. The ability to sense Waruders, as well as a genetic command to make their extinction our number one priority had been drawn up, and disseminated using the Cybetronian global repair network. Though it was difficult to believe that our species had been altered this way, there was already evidence for it. The Blue Streak Incident, where Streak went rogue following an encounter with the Waruder probe Insector, was proof. We must create countermeasures! If the Waruder are truly such a menace, how should we fight them? Whatever strategy we come up with, it must be one of our own volition!

Rescue Assault Spinout, an homage from Diaclone, the precursor of Transformers, joins the MP series!
The color palette, dimensions, and specifications are modeled directly after Car Robot NO.1 Countach LP500S type from Diaclone.
A completely new Masterpiece branded character transforms from the Lamborghini "Supercar" LP500S to Rescue Assault team member, Spinout!
The specific variations of the original Diaclone figure have been faithfully reproduced, while maintaining the excellent articulation and vehicle mode features that were already exhibited by Sunstreaker and Cordon.
The concept of the original Car Robot NO.1 Countach LP500S type has been made into a reality with a product that strongly adheres to the modernization of Transformers.
MP-39+ Autobot Rescue Assault Spinout
CYBERTRON ASSAULT & RESCUE SPINOUT
Role: Assault Rescuer
Motto: “Trivial details aren’t suitable for extended history.”
Profile: Spinout was originally an unconscious existence as a combat machine (Car Robot) in another dimension, but was given life by an ancient computer on Cybertron and became a cognizant lifeform. Although Spinout is passionate and zealous for his fellow Autobots, he shows strong loyalty and obedience to humans. He clearly remembers his previous life as a war machine dependent on humans and has internal anxiety about fighting without a pilot.
Spinout’s vehicle form, the Lamborghini Countach LP500S, is strongly reminiscent of his mysterious and paradoxical origin.
Extended Bio: [Private recordings of Delta Magnus]: Our rushed operation to secure the remote space facility of Diadem saved vast amounts of data recordings of ancient Cybertron, but it couldn’t have come at worse costs. The facility was severely damaged by the fierce battle between Decepticons and Quintessons, and much valuable information was lost. Fortunately, I was able to recover Cordon’s memory files, but he refused to reinstall them. So, that aside, ultimately what we got… was something so completely unexpected that shakes the very history of Cybertron! A bot by the name of Spinout was discovered in the depths of Diadem. He was found in a cryochamber and must have been resting for the past 10 million years. In simpler terms, we found an autoboot, that has an Earth altmode from millions of years ago! What the hell is that?!? According to the data files of Anterior Zeta on Diadem, Spinout was originally nothing more than an unwitting machine from a different Earth dimension. Nothing more than some detritus cast into our spacetime continuum. Hmm. Diaclone… That is the name of the force that Spinout belonged to. Zeta, who analyzed the anomaly, seemed to have been fascinated by the battles between the Diaclone and their enemies, the Waruders. Was Zeta losing his mind by this time? Perhaps he was infected by some alien force? I can’t be certain… Anyway, Zeta took extreme measures to lead the Autobots to Dialcone’s missions in hopes of taking command. Upon discovering the true threat of the Waruders, he created a team of professionals whose highest priority was the extermination of the Waruders, and he programmed them to infiltrate a vast array of systems via a repair network. It’s hard to believe there was such meddling in our people’s ancestry, but there are already examples. I’m speaking of the Blue Bluestreak incident, in which Bluestreak had a run in with the Waruder Insectorobos. We must take extreme measures to halt their infiltration!
If the threat of an evil Waruder invasion was immediate I know that Spinout would fight on our side. But I think it should be done out of a sense of personal freedom; not one of controlled obedience.

Fixed it for ya. If you don't listen to the Twincast Podcast on this website or wherever Podcasts can be streamed*. Its a great show and they have lamented the Masterpiece Numbering schemes in the past.

Except the Robot Mode uses the toy-accurate Cordon version, not the show-accurate Sunstreaker one. Like Tigertrack, Spinout's a hybrid.

Yes, but the numbering seems to be based off which flavor of the altmode is used.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:I'll say again: It's the lightbar versus the lack thereof. The numbering is based on nothing.
