That's right! Despite reports and an Amazon.co.jp listing to the contrary, it appears that Transformers Collection #17 is not Soundblaster, but is infact
Blitzwing! Great news for all those Triple-Changer fans out there, but want about all those fans who were excited at the opportunity to own the re-built version of everyone's favourite 'uncharasmatic bore'? Well fear not, as Soundblaster will be the #18, which is coming out at the same time!
Both figures are due to be released on 14 January '05, with Blitzwing priced at ¥3,000 and Soundblaster priced at ¥4,980.

A new rumor this morning has began circulating. According to
Digital Toys is stating that Soundblaster will be TFC #18, not #17. TFC #17 is supposedly Blitzwing instead.
Along with this rumor is the other bit of information that Predaking will in fact be a stand alone reissue, most likely being part of the original reissue line that started in 2000 before the TFC (Transformers Collection) book style series in 2002.
Fact or fiction? You decide!
This rumor / news was originally posted at
Tformers.com earlier this morning and was reported on SEIBERTRON.com on the
Energon Pub by

This post over at Zinc Panic lends just a little more credence to the rumors that the upcoming Predaking reissue will feature at least part of the original die-cast. It's unclear if the figures will retain all original die-cast locations, right now, though.
Stay tuned for more info!

Dragonx76 has posted pictures of more upcoming figures from the Galaxy Force/Cybertron line!
The first image shows three previously unseen figures -
one with a motorbike alt mode and two with beast alt modes! The picture also shows captures of the Galaxy Convoy and Starscream videos.
Next we've got a set of four screen captures showing
Starscream's transformation, closely followed by another four screen captures of
Megatron!
Lastly, we have a scanned
Galaxy Force flyer, which bears the date January 8th 2005 (presumbly the series start date).

Earlier this month, we reported on the upcoming
Transformers Innovation 2005 Event, to be held in Japan. Our very own
LagunaL8 was able to attend the event, and has posted a review of the event, along with lyrics for the Galaxy Force opening song (in both original Japanese and translated English). You can read it all,

An interesting little rumour this. Apparently, although the upcoming Galaxy Force TV series is due to be set in an all-new continuity, the actual storyline may be a little familiar, as it's going to be a re-telling of Micron Legend/Armada! Word has it that this is mostly due to the influence of GONZO, who didn't like the way that the last two series worked out......
