Fellow Seibertronian TF-fan kev777 took the time to build a Transformers Titan Town connected to the recently released Siege Omega Supreme. We knew Omega could connect to other bases, but Kev shows us how exactly and recommends some bases since the connector port is rather high on Omega. You can check out the images below, enjoy!

TF-fan kev777 wrote:So here are a couple of shots with Omega Supreme in a super-duper mega city with all the titans and Titans Return/Legends leaders with base modes.

As a heads up to anyone looking forward to building a city of their own, due to the height of the track, Omega Supreme can only really connect to Fort Max, Grand Max or any of the Powermaster Prime/Ginrai variants. All the other TR/Legends leader base mode ramps are too short to connect directly.

Now separate the Bots from the Cons!

So I might be in the minority here, but I think that looks awful. The connectivity thing was just a bad choice IMHO.

The connectivity was fine, it's just some of the base modes aren't that great. I kind of like the fan made metroplex/fort max combination and then some of the other fan modes like jetfire and ultra magnus could make base lay outs a bit more interesting along with the voyager TR prime variants base modes thrown in.

Topspin, Twin Twist, Sonic Bomber, and Roadfire all have Zone Base Modes too, but no ramps since they're all Deluxes.

This is the perfect example of something that sounds awesome in your head but doesn't work in reality. Instead of a base, city or battle station it looks like a junk parts lot on ebay.

I can't find the video/photos at the mo, but there is a way of draping a fort max over metroplex that makes a beefier base but the placement on these makes the autobot bases look better:

Hit the nail on the head. I think we as a community (yes, I'm pointing at myself here) forget this a lot.

These are childrens toys made for children. The G1 homage and aesthetic are simply to grab extra dollars from the collectors, but that's all we are, extra. We dont even rank a notch compared to parents buying for kids.

Apparently, fans older than 10 represent 30% of the consumers. Obviously still not the majority but a decent enough chunk that I can see why hasbro actually cared enough to redo those dino casettes, make a seeker 3 pack that no one but a few fans would care about, redo the power dashers ect.

I'd definitely support any 3P add-ons for Generations Metroplex that made him officially compatible with other TR bases/cities, but as we can see, it can still be made to look good. ;)^

Honestly I like this idea, but instead of the TR style connectors, I'd go with the newer Siege connectors like on Omega Supreme and Astrotrain's launch pad. They are just better connectors, the TR ones can be a real pain in some configurations.

This looks like so much fun. Especially if there were Headmasters and Prime Masters all over the place with Minicons and Legends. It would be really cool if you got a bunch of the Omega Supreme tracks to connect to Titans together and have long roads from City bot to City bot.

My daughter and I will be doing that in the very near future, well sort of, this is going to be our town for all the Botbots initially. Then I get to take over with the titan masters, prime masters, micro masters, battle masters, just about any other masters and the legends.

I'm stocking up on small transformers for when I get Omega Supreme. I used to love the transforming playsets like the micromachines and Star Wars ones that went from Slave-1 to Tatooine, or an imperial pilot to a training academy. Never had the city bots so I'm pretty excited to play with my kids with the Titans

Is it just me, or is Target being odd with stocking the Battle Masters and Micromasters? There were good with stocking them up to Wave 3 with Walmart stopping, but now they seem to have reverted back to Wave 1?

My targets have consistently had wave 1 and wave 2 Micromasters, but nothing past.

Walmarts don't even carry those size classes anymore, haven't most of the year

Fair enough. We’re getting a bit off-topic at this point. My original post was simply to support the notion that adult fans are a recognized and supported demographic (regardless of percentage).

Here's a thought for a crazy (expensive) custom...
Pick 13 of the molds that will connect, give them unifying paint schemes, custom heads and accessories, and you could have the 13 Primes, and by connecting them, you could build Iacon... :-?

It took me about 4-5 hours to put all to put all the leaders into base modes from vehicle modes, and the titans into city modes from bot modes, and then figure everything out. I came really close to giving up on trying to fit it on the pool table and nearly moved it to the floor.

Glad I persisted though. I could probably get a better overall layout on the floor, but I would have to clean it up every time I was done wit it. Keeping it on the pool table meant I could leave it up for a while. This weekend my daughter and I will be playing with it, the Botbots will be taking over.

While there are several fans collecting all seekers using the Transformers War for Cybertron Siege voyager tetrajet mold, there have not been many images of all seven seekers together. Getting seven of these in one year has never happened before and the only other seeker molds to have as many (or more) so far is the MP11 mold and the classics mold, both of which took far more than a year to get to 7 characters. With the voyager height favoured amongst collectors as the height for these characters in a classics collection, it's time we took a breather and just looked at what this year accomplished for our Decepticon ranks. Below are the name of the seekers along with where they were available in the US:

Starscream - standard retail release
Thundercracker - standard retail release
Skywarp - part of Amazon exclusive boxset
Redwing - online Target red card exclusive
Nova Storm - part of Target exclusive boxset
Ion Storm - part of Target exclusive boxset
Acid Storm - part of Target exclusive boxset

We thank Sabreblade's contact and TF-fan kev777 for bringing these pictures to our attention. Who else is collecting them all?

No! That gray thing isn't Skywarp. Skywarp is BLACK. You can call the thing Hasbro released Smokestorm or some nonsense like that. But that's definitely not Skywarp.

SKYWARP IS BLACK! END OF STORY! You & Hasbro are screwing with my childhood memories & my very first Transformer back in 84. Out of the 3 seekers I chose the BLACK one because he was BLACK. I didn't choose the dark gray one because there was no dark gray version.

SKYWARP IS BLACK, LAVENDER/VIOLET & SILVER.
SKYWARP IS NOT DARK GRAY, LIGHT GRAY & MAROON/CRANBERRY.

Don't argue! :BANG_HEAD: Everybody knows Skywarp is BLACK, SILVER & VIOLET. Just like everybody knows the sky is blue & the grass is green.

If you tell me Skywarp is gray I will tell you Optimus Prime is actually orange or yellow. And then I would be laughed right out of the room.

BLACK! ALWAYS HAS BEEN BLACK! And I never imagined I would be arguing about this. If Skywarp is gray then so is Darth Vader. Sheesh! For Christ's sake! What the hell is wrong with this fandom?
Image

Is Soundblaster gray too? Because Hasbro made him gray once. But the new Siege Soundblaster is BLACK. So which is it? I'm going with BLACK because BLACK looks a million times better.

Skywarp will probably have a selects version with accurate coloring, even the classic seekers varied in colors/patterns between henkai/classic and not all of them were accurate from what I remember. Would be interesting to know what colour blind people see the brighter seekers as.

Easy now, just relax. He is saying that the siege Skywarp matches the original g1 CARTOON color scheme (except the purple - the purple on him is much darker then it was on the cartoon) Also, he is not as grey as pics make him out to be, he is much more of a matte metallic gunmetal. its quite striking in hand tbh.

That being said however, I do prefer the Jet black (pun intended) with silver as opposed to the cartoon colors. Who knows, we may see a g1 toy version repaint down the road at some point. Wouldn't surprise me at all.

I recently completed the set for a friend of mine. He had Starscream and Thundercracker, I got the other five. It was a lot harder to source the "exclusives" in the UK, especially the Rainmakers, than I expected. It is pretty ridiculous for a chain to retain a toy exclusive in countries it doesn't exist in :???:

Unless it is an Amazon exclusive, which is a global company, surely regional exclusivity should end at the country border? Or Maybe Hasbro UK could step up and sell them directly, if they weren't so F'ing useless

But I digress. They do look good, but the overall aesthetic is definitely hurting without the tail fin. They've done well to release 7 of the 17 Seekers so far though. The Tetrajets are also the most faithful to the Cybertronian altmode mandate of SIEGE, to date.

Fingers crossed that maybe someday...

No! That gray thing isn't Skywarp. Skywarp is BLACK. You can call the thing Hasbro released Smokestorm or some nonsense like that. But that's definitely not Skywarp.

Uhhhhh... No? That actually is pretty good with Skywarp's color scheme

Is Soundblaster gray too? Because Hasbro made him gray once. But the new Siege Soundblaster is BLACK. So which is it? I'm going with BLACK because BLACK looks a million times better.

Wouldn't surprise me at all.

coneheads anyone?

Firstly ... to the person that reported this post, please ensure that it actually violates the forum rules in some way.

Secondly ... thank you for bringing it to my attention. I needed a good laugh, and this definitely provided it.

The Coneheads really do need to be a [Cybertronian] mold variant though, not just a redeco.

They will probably use that new earth mode mold and come out next year or so. Would make sense since we never saw them on cybertron, unlike the others.
