They'll keep all the Arcee's company. In hindsight, if Hasbro wanted to rerelease ER Deluxes, they should have picked characters from wave 3, those had very little distribution in the United States. I never even saw them in store. I'm glad I ordered them online.

I'm glad they didn't. Not only does using Russian letters as English not make any sense ("я" doesn't make an "r" noise) but it's also tacky as all hell and one of my biggest pet peeves.
Turning Ravage to Russian (using direct sounds) would look like: "Равэгж" or "Ravehj" (there is no J in Russian so you often combine their G and Zh letters). I'm not an expert in Russian, but I can just barely speak it.

I love that the reviewer got excited about the upper body transformation (if I interpreted that correctly) and that he added "Wakanda forever" haha especially because I like to make other teams out of transformers characters and ravage would definitely be my Black Panther. And maybe shadow panther as Shuri
I’m excited by the upper body transformation too!
Watching the review, I’m liking the way the arms fold in to fill the gap, the way the head has the extra piece to fill out the neck, the nice waist swivel, and just the overall aesthetic. It’s quite obvious that the head is a Tigertron repaint from the review so it’s interesting that we’ll see the “repaint” version before the actual version.
The head isn't Tigatron's as Tigatron is a Voyager in this line, more likely they've taken his transformation scheme and applied it to the cheetor retool
The head definitely looks like a black painted Tigertron head and it seems bigger than Cheetor’s head so I could still see it on a voyager sized body.

I'm not defending him. I'm just saying there's room for someone to buy more than one and NOT be a scalper. maybe the guy just wants two. Or has a buddy who also collects. OR, maybe he is a scalper. I don't know that for certain, so I'm not sure how you do.
I don't like scalpers any more than you do, but generalizations are bad.

This is very true, and I am extremely lucky to live in an area with good distribution. I can't toss a brick without hitting a Walmart.

Lots of stores does not equate to great distributing either unfortunately. I can drive to 20 Walmarts in a 30 mile radius of my home, but they have very little Transformers in stock most times. I also have probably 10 Targets. They do a little better, but not much. Ironically, more often than not I am able to find what I'm looking for at the closest ones, but it is always random.
I am starting my vacation later this week, which will entail 8 day road trip across most of the western US (CA, NV, UT, ID, MT, WY, WA, OR). I'm sure I'll be hitting plenty of Walmarts and Targets along the way to stock up on provisions, it will be interesting to see what they have/don't have as far as Transformers.

It's an early sample (he doesn't show the box, so it's not a production run). It's possible that the production run will include the extra paint ops on the faux eyes.

Selfishly, I don't want that change. I'm happy to be skipping at least one of the WfC earth mode updates. I already repurchased Datsuns and Lambos, this is $50 I don't have to spend.

To be honest I don't really care about Mirage enough to care about the shoulder thing. He was always just kind of a bonus to getting grimlock since I never got siege version. I was just gonna put Deep Cover's shoulder cannon on Mirage's back and use the port to mount Mirages shoulder cannon like I've seen on instagram from kremzeekreviews and a couple others. Easy fix, and not a big deal. Mirage at least has a good paint job

It’s because the figure lost functionality with this Earthmode “upgrade.” The remolded parts also look less on model to the G1 cartoon than the Siege version. They went out of their way to “fix” something that was never broken. All they needed to do was ditch the clear plastic and change some tampographs.

It looks more accurate now though? It has a less bulky spoiler, looks more like a racecar, and the fake robot chest is not showing in altmode. And the shoulder cannon IS included. Making the cannon would be difficult, but mounting it is a matter of just finding something to hold it. You can mount it using an adapter you make yourself, out of whatever you find lying around, it's literally an L shaped strut with a peg on one end and a hole at the other end. If you want to get fancy, you can 3D print one. You don't even have to design it, the internet will be SWARMING with free printables to mount the cannon on his shoulder.

The problem is though, that is a lot of effort to fix something that was never broken. Like people wanting Earth Mode Sideswipe, the Siege one was clearly an earth car wanting to pretend to be a Cybertronian.
It's great that you like it, but bare in mind that some don't and their problems with the mold, aren't imaginary.

Never said it was imaginary, in fact, I suggested a fix for it. I wouldn't suggest a fix for something "imaginary". It's just that it seems like a shame to pass on a figure that improves on the previous one on like five things just because it's worse on one other thing, and one that's very easily fixable at that. You can't change Siege Mirage's transformation scheme and tampos and clear plastic and molding. But you can very easily make a DIY shoulder mount for Kingdom Mirage's cannon.
Here's what I mean about the alt mode:

Here's what I mean about the alt mode:
My biggest desire for an earth mode Mirage was never an incremental revision of his Siege version but a model closer to his real car inspiration. The CW Mirage retool from Dragstrip is more faithful to his alt mode than the Siege or Kingdom versions. If I'm not going to get a better car, and I'm going to lose the shoulder cannon too, it's not a net improvement.
I'm not mad about either of these things, there might be legal concerns with the relatively unique car model, and I get that a new transformation means making choices like with the cannon. It's disappointing to expect "improved" when it's not, but for me that means I'm satisfied with the original.

I'm not trying to make anyone feel like their opinions don't matter, it just seems like a shame to miss out on something you want because of a minor issue.

Apology accepted, it can be very easy to misinterpret intentions online and obviously im guilty of just that. Seems like it was just a misunderstanding
As for the release, I was talking about the battle Across Time Maximal Grimlock that comes in the 2 pack with Mirage. I'd appreciate if the final product has the feaux eyes on the chest painted, but if not it's no big deal and I can hopefully fix it with toyhax labels down the line or ill just get over it
As for Mirage, I'm not too attached to the character but I have yet to see a mainline Mirage figure done well imo. Classics had a cool design but wasn't without flaws. Since then all the Mirage figures just seem mediocre. MMC's sphinx is probably one of the better ones I've seen, and this Mirage has a better paintjob than siege but as other fans have pointed out is not without its problems. The shoulder thing at the very least should be an easy fix, but it's unfortunate that's an issue in the first place

Wait...that was Wolfman Jake who replied to you about the eyes on the chest!
For the record, my thoughts on the chest eyes are that you should wait till we have in hand shots of the retail version

As for Mirage, I don't have a horse in the race as I never bothered to get Mirage in the first place (don't care about G1).
Jesus Christ I apparently need to go back to school and learn how to read lmao sorry I guess I'm not good at telling wolves apart, not trying to be bigoted towards wolves here
Agreed! It's all speculation at this point

Hell yeah!
I double confirm this.
Thanks in advance!
