Thanks to a tip off from fellow Seibertron user, TFanPage101, we've learned that YouTuber TonTon Reviews, has just reviewed the highly anticipated Commander Class Jetfire figure from the Transformers War for Cybertron Siege toyline!

In the review he goes through the basics of transformation, scale to other transformer figures (namely Leader Class Galaxy Upgrade Optimus Prime, Deluxe Class Prowl, Studio Series Leader Class Jetfire and Studio Series Voyager Class Movie 1 Optimus Prime), all the points of articulation, and a run down on all the action points of the toy. This includes showing its interaction with other Siege figures and how Titan/Prime Masters can get in the fun via Jetfire's cockpit!

We have embedded the video below for your convenience.

What do you think of this figure? Are you looking forward to adding Jetfire to your collection? Let us know in the Energon Pub and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews!

haven't watched the thing in detail... but it's shaping up to be an awesome toy. TF of the year will prolly be a battle between this and omega supreme for me.

Really wish he would have also used a CW Combiner for size comparison to see just how accurate Hasbro's 11-inch claim really was.

When Hasbro first revealed Jetfire, they claimed it to be 11 inches tall.

That height, however, would make the figure shorter than the likes of the CW Combiners (who are all about 11.5 inches tall), when all images of the toy make it appear to be much taller than that.

Eyeballing it he’s 2 “leaders” tall or 3-4 deluxes.... i’d say 11-12” is on the money.

He’ll certainly be bulkier (if not heavier) than the combiners. He’s got a big ol’ empty chest and backpack shell

Recent fallen n love again with TF toys..a.fter a long time to not buy anything, but the Siege line is really cool form...you think there any possibility Hasbro will realize Wheeljack and Bumblebee into this line too? I know Wheeljack was asking to fan to choose, but I just still hope the will give him another possibility...and maybe some Dinobots too? thanks for replies

Hello there! General Kenobi

I think at some point in the next 3 years, Wheeljack and Bee will be realized in some form, not this year, but maybe the next 2 years after that.

I doubt we are going to get a full Dinobots team again soon, after the PotP ones

Tell us how he colors on Sixgun match up with Takara Tomy's release of Metroplex. I have the SDCC version of Metroplex, and the reds are just a bit off from one another, but not enough to be distracting.

Just found Sixgun at Target today, so I can do the comparison that was requested:

Sixgun's red is noticeably darker than Takara Metroplex's red. Not enough to really mismatch, but it's fairly noticeable.

That seems to be the case with Hasbro's SDCC release as well. They're not quite the same, but they don't at all clash with one another or look out of place when displayed together.

The Facebook page for In Demand Toys has been updated with images revealing both the Skywarp Battlepack and the Firestorm Battlepack from the Siege line. These are all exclusives, like Greenlight, which is also shown. The Firestorm pack includes a black redeco of Siege Sideswipe which sacrifices his G2 symbol for a Battle Master, along with Slamdance who is a reuse of Flywheels. Skywarp comes with his own squad of Battle Master redecos. From previous listings we know that both of these sets are priced at the leader class price point. From what we know of Greenlight, these will probably be Amazon exclusives in the US, though that is still to be confirmed.

Enjoy and tell us what you think!

Skywarp looks DOPE. Obviously excited to finish Oritha(sp?) combiner (insert Chromia/Lancer complaint).

I haven't and still don't really care about G2 Sideswipe. Slam Dance makes sense, but I wish they would commit to the cassettes.

I NEED to know whom the Battle Masters are.

The black and grey one with skywarp might be Kup’s targetmaster but I’m not 100% positive.

It's nice to see Slam Dance back, even if not in cassette form.

G2 Sideswipe instead is quite pointless, unless it is meant to represent a new character sharing its deco (something that I previously read referred to Soundblaster).

I'm curious about the Targetmasters, although Skywarp alone would justify getting them.

Same colors (sans arms but that’s probably due to the limbs being gang molded), double-barreled cannon mode, and a complete lack of an official name yet doesn’t completely rule him out from being recoil. I’m not sure if they’d actually use the name but he fits the bill.

Once again a Seeker mold that looks great, but won't be getting for Starscream. Love the look of Skywarp and Thundercracker, but Starscream's colors and the battle damage looks too off putting to me. I'm probably gonna just pick TC and SW up and wait to see what the rumored Redwing will look like if it happens. But I'm loving the look of these sets though, though I'm a little disappointed with Sideswipe's lack of spiked tires

I guess in my "personal continuity" G2 Sideswipe would have to be a different character. Lambo? Spinout? Fish-Tail?

Why can't they make jets look like jets anymore?! Both Raindance and Skywarp have horrible blocky growths under them that make them look about as aerodynamic as a brick. How is it that the "updates" have worse jet modes than the originals?!

His G2 toy had a G1 symbol on it, so I'm pretty sure he didn't sacrifice anything for it. Maybe some decals though, but yeah.

Don't worry about it though, I didn't know about it till I looked at the original toy ;)

I'm confused, even greenlight will be $50? By the way I did some quick math and the Skywarp and Sideswipe sets come out to around $45 USD, looks like the extra few bucks are for the privilege of being able to buy official Hasbro product. I'm really disappointed with Slamdance as I would've hoped we would've gotten the proper weapons.

I hope not. In the past 2 years when Deluxes figures came with a *little something extra* (thinking TR Arcee, Grotusque & last years Punch, Blast off, and Repugnus) they were between $25 and $30, I would expect/hope Greenlight, Lancer and the other Deluxes to be around the $30 US Price Point (20 dollar deluxe plus 6 dollar Battle Master plus a small markup for packaging and exclusivity)

Skywarp having 3 battle Masters would normally retail for 30 + 6x3(18) So $48.... Meaning $50.00 would not be a bad price at all for everything included.

Spinout is already taken, he's the red redeco of Sunstreaker. And a Chef... Who got promoted to a field commander... Because the Cons ripped tjrough everyone else above the chain of command.

Okay, well, not the Slamdance I've been hoping for, but it's nice to see that someone remembered him, and that he's not just a redeco. Also, is it me or does it seem like whenever one of the original three Seekers is made an exclusive of some sort it's always Skywarp?

IDW's previous universe introduced a black, white, and red bot born after the war in Trypticon's hatchery, whom Arcee named Sideswipe after the original was finally taken off life support.

To be fair they are supposed to be Cybertronian alt modes, in the seekers case, the tetra jets seen in more than meets the eye part 1. I suspect we'll be given earth mode jets again at some point ;)

Thanks for the info, I wasn't aware of its existence. I'm a little behind schedule with my readings (right after "Dark Cybertron", actually), since I didn't manage to get the whole IDW first run until recently, thanks to Humble Store.

Aw man I hope Skywarp isn't going to be too hard to get. For one thing, his colors are crisp and a lovely shade of purple, as opposed to some Skywarp which are a bit too pink. He also come with his own little squad of Battlemasters and these little guys are always fun. And finally he complete the main seeker trio.

I hope I can get my hands on that set. :-(
