As for Fire Emblem Heroes, it's FREE. Sure, there's way to be more powerful quicker by paying, but there's plenty of gameplay. FUN gameplay.
You do need a Nintendo account though. But if you already own a 3DS, Wii-U or Switch, you may already have one. You'll just have to link it to your mobile.

I did tried a few other mobile games, but most all boil down to wait-n-pay. I flushed all of them. Only Fire Emblem remained.
Also, A Girl Adrift. Because kawai anime girls chain fishing is mind-numbly fun.

I just started playing A Girl Adrift in the last week, super cute game.

Fun thing about Fire Emblem Heroes, there is easy access to earn their premium in-game currency (orbs), in-game, and is easily do-able without endless grinding. Plus you can upgrade units to the next rarity level (one stat to two star, etc)-something Earth Wars *won't* do.

Like what? I'm not on the game 24/7.

You only get the 6th shuttle slot at HQ8, upgrades are less than 24 hours at that point, and 3* bots don't max until level 50, which you can't get to until the HQ12 upgrade. So I think you are mistaken about your Soundwave and blissfully ignorant about how long upgrades are going to be. To put it inperspective, I'm dealing with 14 day upgrades right now and my highest bots are level 48.

|Depends on how the term "unit" is used, as it can be used to describe both a single entity and a squad.

Bots can upgrade every 10 levels, up to their max.
1 stars: level 20
2 stars: Level 40
3 stars: level 50
4 and 5 stars: level 60

You can upgrade your research lab at the following levels:
Lv 1 (10-11): HQ4
Lv 2 (20-21): HQ7
Lv 3 (30-31): HQ10
Lv 4 (40-41): HQ12
Lv 5 (50-51): HQ15

• We’ve had reports regarding bots who are assigned to an outpost that would follow aerial bots after they use a tank rush Special Ability on them such as Fire Rush and so on.
  Thanks for all your reports, we’ve now been able to fix this. You should notice this no longer happens. Any strange behaviour, please let us know.

• Lot’s of reports regarding replays not being viewable.
  This issue is actually down to Android and IOS versions of the game being released at slightly different times. Once both platforms are at the same version you will notice replays will work as intended again.

• There have been reports that Combiners could be causing people to crash or get disconnected during a battle.
  We’re actively investigating this, and if anyone has a similar issue we would like to hear from you. If you have any steps which could help us reproduce this behaviour that would be very helpful.

Yeah they will, it'll just take time. This current rotation of 5* bots is being retired and another batch will take their place.

SpaceApe probably just realised that not many people have 5* bots (unless you're willing to pump thousands of dollars into the game) and have done the event this way to help people along.

Transformers: Earth Wars page posted a new video showcasing their newer planned combiners Predaking and the new Dinobot Combiner announced as part of the Power of the Primes line, Volcanicus!



These assets should be available in the mobile game on September 21st.

If that's what the new Predaking will look like, I am so buying it.

I'm only missing Predaking's legs, so I might get a functioning unit by christmas...

I need a Headstrong above a 2* and I need a divebomb period, and then I'll have Predaking.

She is the epitome of the femme fatale and, while she wears the insignia of a Predacon, has no great regard for Megatron's leadership and always looks out for number one first and foremost.
Forever planning and plotting, weaving devious web-like strategies to trap the unwary, Blackarachnia makes sure she always comes out on top.

We’ve had reports regarding some troops like Slog are still getting stuck on Sharkticons
This issue has now be fixed and is expected to roll out with a future content release

• Some reports regarding Ratchet / Hook and some of the gunners drive backwards when they use their ability
  We are investigating this at the moment

• There have been reports that sometimes game crashes restarting the game after a connection loss
  We are investigating this, too. If this happens, please force quit and relaunch the game

So this must have been the weekend of the seeker. Got a 3* Skywarp and a 4* Starscream from crystals. Really was hoping for a Hook

If I achieved one thing this weekend, it was to retire my 3* Mixmaster.

It seems so long ago that Mixmaster was THE bot to have.

I haven't played the game in... almost a year; did Mixmaster's ability get nerfed?

My 3* Mixmaster is in the 32 area at the moment.

3* Long Haul is closest to retirement, being at the upper end of the 47 level. Brawl is in the lower 47

I was able to deploy "The Expendeds" to Zone 12 for some extra points.
I'm running out of 3*'s, need more 4*'s!

I'd happily take a 3* Mixmaster, as I still need him and Bonecrusher to complete Devs.

I dunno. Maybe the toy version looks better (I haven't seen it combined) but that thing up there is a cluttered, badly proportioned, overly-colourful mass of crap. Dunno why the Dinobots have gotta combine anyways. It's ok to have a team of five bots who don't turn into giant body parts... The Dinobots were totally ok with not being combiners for years. And instead of really awesome new toys of those guys we get CW-type crud that look worse and cheaper than the original toys and have only the addition of extra articulation as a true benefit.
