We were handed a list of case contents based off of what retailers have/can order/ed for 2022 so far for the Transformers Generations Selects line. None of these are exclusives, they can be ordered by any toy retailer though as you can see from the case numbers below, they come in bulk, making them more likely to be ordered by online retailers who ship from a warehouse.

We do not know what Guard refers to though some fans speculate as to it being a black Ironhide redeco. DK-3 is the Blue Trailbreaker that was released under the Diakron line in the US.

Clampdown will depend on which mold with the siege one being poop.

I'll skip Cyclonus just because it feels like I have too many of him already (G1, classics,CW, Takra, Kingdom).

Guard is probably a no unless it's off the the rumored new sculpt of Ratchet tho it's likely a cheaper way of painting one up as iron hide or Ratchet than trying to find the doublepacks.

If Lift Ticket is red, I'd like to think I could pass on him but I know I won't.

DK3 is a must even though i'm trying to limit how many uses of a mold I get.

Black Zarak was preordered Day 1 for me.

Would Cyclonus’ Armada be him in a toy accurate deco?

As much as I like the diaclone homages, I was hoping that there would be more diversity. Though there will be several exclusives that might be interesting too.

I'm not expecting it, but I'd love to see this be based on the "Dirgeclonus" coloring error in FFoD

Whatever, if SS86 Sweep, a slightly differently colored Scourge can work as the "no name" troop builder, I can see that Select Cyclonus having that exact same purpose.

I can see us getting a Cyclonus repaint. Eventually. The toy deco is really different and, IMO, superior. It might take a while, but I can see it happening.

Considering the Target listing for an exclusive Legacy "Silverstreak" that popped up with all those mainline Legacy listings, I'm pretty sure he isn't Selects.

I welcome our new Diaclone overlords! I hope we eventually get a Loudpedal repaint of Tracks/Road Rage, as well as Crosscut, Burn Out, Screech, and Reboost from the "rumored" new Skids figure to come out next year in the "Transformers Legacy" line. :D

"Dirgeclonus"? Will have to look that up! Been a damned long time since I saw FFoD! :D

*Edit*

Whoa, he actually looks pretty damned cool!

Agreed. I'm not a fan of the lilac but the figure is far, far too good to pass up.

While the toy has been available to preorder on Hasbro Pulse for a while now (at $169.99 USD), we have some new product shots from Takara now that they are revealing the product themselves for their own preorder.

It turns out, while these are real photos and not renders, they have the exact same poses found on the renders on Hasbro Pulse. These give us the best indication yet at the finished product.

You can order it here : https://hasbropulse.com/products/transf ... lack-zarak

BZ will be going into PotP Predaking's space (next to Legends Grand Max), on my Titan Shelf. I'll have to find a new spot for PotP Predaking and his *eventual* Rival MP Raiden. Ark is currently in my sons bedroom in ship mode as the odd Titan out, and it looks as if he will be that way for a while.

You mean the Takara price for Select Black Zarak?
My condolences.

I feel privileged to have paid 225$can plus tax and shipping for mine. Especially when the normal price for a Titan is 250$can plus taxes over here.

I think I am going to put this guy in robot mode and Scorponok in either city or scorpion mode (probably scorpion). The head on this one is absolutely stunning. It kinda makes me wish I got Grand Max so I can display Fort Max in city mode, oh well.

The OG Scorponok can be considered a leader. A big leader, but still. If you can tolerate getting an incomplete one, as long that it have it's headmaster, you can get one for a (very relatively) reasonable price.

With his bulk, he's more like commander class I think. And I wish I could get 2 of Black Zarak to display in both robot and scorpion mode.

The only option for a "leader" Scorponok is the Energon one.

I'm surprised that not even 3P thought of making a Marvel comic accurate "G1" leader Scorponok yet. :-?

And definitely lighter.

I wonder how much they would charge today if they'd make something as big and as massive as Armada Unicron today? :-?
100$us?

The reissues of Cybertron Starscream and Primus in Platinum Edition and TLK, respectively, were exorbitantly more expensive than their original price, and Starscream was among the simplest Supremes while Primus was the among the smallest.

I'd put the starting price at $150 at least. That was the Toys R Us (RIP) price in the US for TLK G2 Primus back in 2017.

Edit: I forgot about Greenicron, who I got for $100 from Amazon Japan in 2019. So I'd say somewhere between $100 and $150.

Almost the same price as a titan then.
This makes the old Supreme class pretty pointless for new toys today.

Ditto. I just got one for Artfire (delayed until 01/15/22). Nothing on BZ yet, though I figure that one will come closer to the expected ship date. Kind of disappointing that with basically 78 days (roughly 2 1/2 months) left on the Calendar year I will be getting zero new toys. I'd like to have the payment for these off my books prior to the end of 2021, but oh well.

I got Zetar when he first came out. But I ve seen several fans claim they obtained him from Hasbro as fan complaint/ damage control. Every time someone would call to complain about a QC issue with a toy, of course they wouldn't have another of the same toy to replace it, so it was basically "Sorry for your trouble, have a free Zetar on us"

There could definitely be worse choices though, I actually think it all 3 powerdashers were redone quite creatively.

That would have really irritated me personally. Usually, with Takara Tomy, if the toy was released recently, and there's a problem, then they'll send the parts. If not, I suspect they wouldn't fob me off with something akin to Botbots...

Howevet, horses for courses, I suppose.
