But Dreadwing and Skyquake was never even a seeker! Now if they would have gone with the names Dirge and Acid Rain, that would be a plus for the show, but this way it's just lame.
Or even Darkwing and Dreadwind... that would even explain the similarity.

sorry to me any decepticon who turns into a fighter is a seeker. plus seekers tend to look similar to eachother. just my opinion....don't even know if there are seekers in this continuity.

IMDB = fake.magirus wrote:According to IMDB were getting jetfire, crankcase and crowbar this episode. I wonder if any are going to be permanent or just more flashbacks?
They already did the "Is Wheeljack an enemy?" story. Though done differently, it still involves the same character.Janus Prime wrote:You know what would be totally cool? If Wheeljack and Dreadwing were partners, killed Seaspray and had a plot to kill Optimus.

Ho yeah, I forgot all about that. I was just trying to think about a way this show could surprise me, since in all it´s episodes it hasn´t... but taking a bit of the story to outer space is actually very cool.

IMDB has posted nothing but lies about new episodes of Prime, all of which were confirmed by the actual episodes themselves resembling nothing of what IMDB described upon their airing on TV.magirus wrote:IMDB has David Kaye listed as jetfire. And its already been confirmed David kaye is in transformers prime. And the other twoactors have been in star trek which seems to be the trend. They touched on this in the tfcc mag.

Whaddya mean "nothing happened"? We got two new recurring/main characters.Janus Prime wrote:Wow... I just can´t belive nothing happened... again!
This is no different that the Beast Wars episodes that gave us Tigatron, Airazor, Blackarachnia, Inferno, etc.
Plus, we got more character background, which is always a plus.

You forgot Rotorstorm.
Well, it looks like the writers actually read the new comics, that's a plus. The minus is, the show is slow as hell, and there aren't many characters fully used in episodes - they are either just lurking in the background, or not showing up at all. The writers should ask for some advice from Roberts.

More like they're probably just taking names from Hasbro's Binder of Revelation, which itself is an amalgamation of elements taken from past TF fiction prior to the year 2010.Chaoslock wrote:Well, it looks like the writers actually read the new comics, that's a plus.
Which main characters haven't gotten spotlighted yet?Chaoslock wrote:The minus is, the show is slow as hell, and there aren't many characters fully used in episodes - they are either just lurking in the background, or not showing up at all. The writers should ask for some advice from Roberts.

Not "yet" - they should use more cast per episode, some variety.

You said some were just in the background or not showing up. Who are you referring to?Chaoslock wrote:Not "yet" - they should use more cast per episode, some variety.
Optimus Prime/Orion Pax, Bumblebee, Arcee, Ratchet, Bulkhead, Megatron, Starscream, Soundwave, Knock Out, Breakdown, the Vehicons, Airachnid, Jack, Miko, Raf, Fowler, June, Silas, and now Wheeljack and Dreadwing have all been used and focused on to an extent. Though, Soundwave's probably been given the least attention, but still. That's the whole main cast. How is there not variety among 19+ characters?

Clarifying: They have a relatively big cast, but they aren't using it in each episode how they should be used - for example, in the last episode, only Prime shows up to rescue Wheeljack, where's Arcee and Bumblebee? And why did Megatron simply wait with his hands folded to get his newest (and perhaps one of his most capable in a fight (since he doesn't have any more unique airborne heavy hitters now)) soldier get slagged? Did he get depressed?
In BW, there were lots of fights where both sides took all of their soldiers on the battlefield at once, but Prime lacks such battle royales.
Some positive thing:

It's called specific character interaction. They brought in just Optimus becuase A) He was all that was needed for this mission, and B) So he and Wheeljack could have some spark-to-spark moments of getting to know and understand each other better. Bringing in more Autobots would have diminished the personal interation between Optimus and Wheeljack.Chaoslock wrote:Clarifying: They have a relatively big cast, but they aren't using it in each episode how they should be used - for example, in the last episode, only Prime shows up to rescue Wheeljack, where's Arcee and Bumblebee?
Plus, they all wouldn't have fit inside the Jackhammer together.
Dreadwing wanted to have the chance of personally eliminating Optimus to prove himself to Megatron, and so Megatron agreed to let him, this time. But Dreadwing had also disobeyed Megatron's orders, and since Megatron was already doing fine without him, Megatron simply didn't care whether or not Dreadwing survived.Chaoslock wrote:And why did Megatron simply wait with his hands folded to get his newest (and perhaps one of his most capable in a fight (since he doesn't have any more unique airborne heavy hitters now)) soldier get slagged? BW could do such grand scale fights since their war was no kept secret to the planet's populace. In this series, the Autobots try to keep the fights contained and as small scale as possible. The last thing they want is to draw attention to themselves and so must keep all the battles as minute as best they can.Chaoslock wrote:In BW, there were lots of fights where both sides took all of their soldiers on the battlefield at once, but Prime lacks such battle royales.
