Kicking things off, we discuss the launch (and relaunch) of the TFCC Exclusive Over-Run and Shattered Glass Drift figures, as well as the problems the Club managed during the sale.
We discuss the issue with preorders, offer suggestions for the future, and discuss the figures themselves.
Next up, we lament the unexpected end of Transformers Prime: First Edition toys. We analyze the problems with store exclusives, discuss the costs involved, speculate on reasons, and get rather salty about the whole affair, including the shortage of Takara First Edition toys to compound fan desire.
Moving on from First Edition to Robots in Disguise, we give our thoughts on the recently revealed Ratchet and Optimus Maximus, as well as some of the other, upcoming figures.
We then jump to other side of the world, and review the just-released United Rodimus and give our thoughts on his over-the-top paint apps.
We have some Micron talk up next for those collectors with a tiny figure predilection, with the recently announced Arms Micron line.
Finally, we discuss a few pieces of excellent art floating around from the likes of Jim Sorenson and Guido Guidi showing us some new sides to the art we've come to know and love.

I gotta admit, even though I'm Canadian, I'm still pissed about this Prime First Edition crap. The whole thing, to me, reeks of poor planning all around. I still don't quite understand the rationale behind making two deluxe Cliffjumpers, Bumblebees OR Arcees... it hardly seems cost effective for a company that's all about making money to produce two different molds of the same character, from the same show, in the same size class when engineering the toys and making the molds costs so damn much.
Anyway, I could go into that forever, as I'm sure many of us could, so I'll just depart saying: Awesome job, guys, keep it up, and if you ever find yourselves shorthanded again, hit me up on Skype, (I think CP has my username from when you guys did the call in show) I'd love to fill space and shoot the shit with you guys again. 'Til next time, keep on rocking in the increasingly more expensive world!

It feels like I've been importing microns every month for the past few months. This addiction is a curse...

1)I missed out on the collectors club exculsives. Is there any chance it'll be back? or is the secondary market the only way to go now.
2)I listened to the show and they keep talking about how many pieces of a certain item BBTS has or TFsource or the TFCC has left. where does one go to check? I don't see any options to show me.
Thanks in advaice

Probably not, though they did do an extra run of P/CP. If you can secure a "reseller preorder" for under $80 shipped for each, that's probably your best bet.
Most retailers have a flaw in their ecommerce systems where you can enter an extremely large quantity, update the cart, and then see what the system adjusts the quantity down to. This should be their on hand.

1) They're probably gone, but they have gone back and offered another small run in the past. Either way, if it were me, I'd just wait it out, let the hype die down, then hit the secondary market. Last year's Ramjet can be had for practically the same as it woulda cost you with TFCC's inflated shipping right now and that's probably because so many people bought extras with the intent to sell later. I'm sure there were a hefty amount bought for the same reason here.
2) Act as though you're going to buy a ridiculous amount, like 500, and if they only have 247 left, it'll come back and say that many are in stock. If it fills the 500, enter a higher number.
*Guess you should check if a post has been made when you step away for an extended amount of time... Oh well, double the answers.

I don't mind criticism, so long as it's justifiable and not "bashing for the sake of bashing". The criticism in this episode has all been very reasonable.
Another good one, guys.

Thanks! This has been a very bad time to be a fan, and we know it *could* be better.

That scratching sound is a sound file that is supposed to be Blaster tuning us in (from one of his G1 cartoon appearances), and there is supposed to be at least one other time he appears.
But that's me trying to add a little zing to the intro and outro when I edit it, and I obviously do not have the hang of it, as it plays fine on my end, but not so much on others' end.
Sorry man. Intro and outro is in progress, and I tried to add a little creative flare to it.
