Earlier today, we reported that Seibertron, himself, found the newly released Wal*Mart AOE exclusives at a local store in the Chicagoland area, which you can see here.
Seibertron has taken the time to make a Mini gallery of these items, in packaging, so we can get their UPC info. Why, you ask? Because these are part of Wal*Mart's upcoming seasonal reset and most, if not all stores, have these sitting in the back room awaiting a chance to be stocked on shelves and pegs. However, since they're on hand and active in the computer, you can buy them now. With the aid of the UPC info, the toy department associate can help you get them out of the back. (However, not every employee will be able to or be willing to help, so be polite when asking and try someone else if they won't. Manners go a long way in the collector world.)
NOTE: Sometimes Wal*Mart's computer system modifies the UPC for internal stock keeping purposes. If the full UPC doesn't work, give the UPC with the last number removed. The computer should be able to recognize it, then.

Not to mention every mass retail store outside of TRU in the Salt Lake City metro area. I've seen Voyager Hound and Galvatron at TRU, once or twice, but aside from ONE Target that had Wave 2 deluxes briefly, I haven't seen anything past Wave 1 of Deluxes or Voyagers. Every single Target and Walmart still has a bazillion Power Attackers and Dino Sparkers. And like 16 Deluxe Crosshairs. Surprised he's the shelfwarmer of this movie.
And, I kid not, my local Walmart has about 10-15 Evasion Primes on the shelf. They're never going to put anything new out if they can't sell those. Ugh.

Well, here in the U.S., they're $29.99 for the set, which isn't bad at all, if you consider a Voyager is about $23 and a Deluxe around $10-14. So it saves a few dollars. I just have both molds, so I wouldn't consider paying for them a second time unless they were less expensive.

You should be happy. Over here we don't have ANY of the IDW stuff. Or the 2nd wave.
Actually we do get the IDW legend stuff, like the prime and starscream, the asda near me is chock full of them (For £6, opposed to the exclusive legions £3), as is the toy r us. We sometimes get the IDW deluxes...Just not with the comics.

I just spotted the AOE Hexbugs at my local ToysRus on Decarie Blvd in Montreal, Qc, Canada.
The prices listed are in Canadian dollars. And also, I wanted to point out that they are found in the transformers section, thus taking up shelf space alloted to transformers.

Yeah, I first saw them the day I went to see Age of Extinction the day it came out, and picked up a set to use Grimlock as a Classics Grimlock (since the old Deluxe was too small, IMO), and have Optimus in a separate display. My Target still has a handful of these sets for full price.

I only bought the old styled Bee deluxe , and it is smaller then TF's 1&2 lines . I walk by them in the store and just shake my head saying nothing here for me...
Glad we have 3rd party and some MP's to look for down the line.

The deluxes were getting smaller before the movie. Just check out the Prime Line (RID). Sargeant Kup is the smallest deluxe I have ever seen. It is so odd to make him stand to First Edition Cliff Jumper.
Also, I don't find these movie toys bad at all. Evasion Mode OP, Hound and Galvatron have very interesting transformations and both modes have limited kibble (though Galvatron's backpack is a bit annoying to me but that's more the fault of the film having them morph instead of transforming). And the dinobots have great designs and sculpts. I dislike Strafe's easy transformation but his resulting robot mode is very nice as well as all dinobots. They look very majestic (I own Scorn, Slog, Strafe and Grimlock). They are also not easier to transform than previous transforming dinosaurs.
SO in the end, I am not annoyed by the smaller size in this particular line, since this has been happening for a few years, and I don't find the transformations of the movie toys I own simpler than the previous lines.

The strafe repaint is beautiful, and.I wasn't expecting another grimlock repaint so quickly.
Now only question is, where do I get them from? Are these exclusives or general release...

I think they're the second wave of the "unclassified" (no TF4 logo) Legion releases, after Legends Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Starscream.

Ironically I find these custom sets a bit lacking. The weapons and clips and other not-Kreon parts are amazing, but I'm not sure what to do with the long arms, clear torsos, or chrome helmets. How many Transformer characters need those?

I did see a Scorn (Wave 2)at Target, who doesn't seem to have made such a large initial order of this stuff as Walmart did. Same goes for 1-Steppers. They have culled the hundreds of 1-Steppers at Walmart, but there are still ALOT left. I think the later waves of Power Battlers and 1-Step are going to be what we see at TJ Max and the like this Christmas.
I was thinking that too hence why I jumped on it off of Amazon. The later waves are up there for pre-order now too.
