The Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast is looking to make big moves while not jumping the shark. Sort of. Join host ScottyP, Megatronus, Epic Voice Guy, Kuhlio, and Aaaarnhide19 as we peer into the abyss, I mean future, of the latest Legacy: Evolution toys, the Rise of the Beasts movie, and more.
Episode #318 “Junkion Thunderdome” is available directly and in our RSS Feed, and should appear on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher Radio and many other Podcatcher sites within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
Here are the deep thoughts we discuss in this episode:
- We start with reveals from the recent Pulse livestream, and boy were we pleased to have made the cut. This podcast, coming to a store near you.
- We answer a listener *ahem* cast-member question from Kuhlio: what's a figure from an older line that needs a chance to be Evolved like Hot Shot, and what's a figure that doesn't need to be updated, like Armada Starscream?
- We move on to the surprisingly faithful Rise of the Beasts mainline, and some of the more fun-looking gimmicks. Special mention to Cheetor and Scourge, who are both looking mighty fine indeed.
- The next 8 episodes of Earthspark Season 1 (part 2 of 3) drop on Paramount+ March 3rd, with a juicy trailer building our excitement. TM2 Tarantulus, Grimlock, Breakdown, Shockwave - this show is shaping up.
- Listener kurthy asks: "With Legacy giving us a bunch of reimagined pretenders, what would you you all think if Hasbro did a line that had the articulation and polish of Marvel Legends or G.I. Joe Classified but used it mostly for pretender shells and action masters?" RED & Super7 need not apply.
- We wrap up the show with everyone's favorite segment: Bragging Rights.

The Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast is looking back on the best and worst the world of Transformers had to offer in 2022. Join host ScottyP, Megatronus, Kuhlio, and Aaaarnhide19 as we pin down 2022 superlatives across toys, media, and more.
Episode #316 “2022 Year in Review” is available directly and in our RSS Feed, and should appear on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher Radio and many other Podcatcher sites within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
Here are the categories we discuss in this episode:
- Objectively, the best Transformers toy of the year?
- Subjectively, our favorite Transformers toy of the year?
- Best / favorite media (comic, TV, etc.) of the year?
- Worst Transformers toy of the year?
- Worst Transformers... anything... of the year?
- "Most 2020 Transformers Moment" of 2022, personal or otherwise?
- Biggest collecting achievement of the year? (i.e., a cool acquisition, hitting a major milestone, etc.)
- Staff member and gadfly D-Maximal_Primal asks: "would you guys mind doing a Top 10 purchases of 2022 on the Twincast, basically the same way the article I just did describes it?" We'll do 2-3, how's that?
- 2023 Prediction: Sure Thing/Layup/This-is-Definitely-Going-to-Happen/WEAK SAUCE?
- 2023 Prediction: Wishful Thinking/Hot Take/Never-Gonna-Happen/BOLD STRONG MOVE?
- We wrap up the show with everyone's favorite segment: Bragging Rights.

The Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast is back with the Transformers PulseCon news you need and maybe even the news you don't. Join host ScottyP, Megatronus, Seibertron himself, and Black Bumblebee, in his Twincast debut, as we discuss the latest toys, news, and more.
Episode #309 “Pulse Con 2022” is available directly and in our RSS Feed, and should appear on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher Radio and many other Podcatcher sites within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
Here's what we discuss in this episode:
- PulseCon Day One included the Transformers brand panel, and we start with the core class reveals: Dinobots and Volcanicus are top of mind.
- We dwell on deluxes; Stunticon Breakdown elicits baseline enthusiasm, but opinions diverge across the unusually strong remaining bench, including Junkion Scraphook, Armada Hot Shot, and Needlenose.
- The voyagers round out a strong menu of toy reveals. Lio Convoy's beast mode reminds some of a certain FMA chimera-based meme, but is still reason to get excited. Tarn simply delights.
- Magic: The Gathering is... happening. So is Light Bright. Let's speculate on the Legacy: Evolution poster instead:
- Shattered Glass Soundwave is neat, but... kind of expensive at the $62.99 USD price point. That green head band must be going to his head.
- We wrap up the show with everyone's favorite segment: Bragging Rights.

The Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast is back as villains Mr. Starscream, Megatronus, and the nefarious ScottyP vie for control of the galaxy. Will one be mistaken for Needlenose, or will the power of shattered glass send things into an alternate universe where all the latest Transformers news is discussed at length? It's the latter.
Episode #259 “Podcast Convoy” is available directly and in our RSS Feed, and should appear on Apple Podcasts, Google Play, and Stitcher Radio within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
Here's what we discuss in this episode:
- It's the 10th anniversary of Transformers Prime, and a commemorative boxed figure appears to be in the works. But who exactly will be in the box?
- The next Titan has been revealed - we think. Hazy images of the Ark are infiltrating the inter-webs, opening up speculation on how this mystery Titan will be executed.
- Shattered Glass has entered the main line, with a new Optimus Prime and Ratchet 2pk up for preorder. We nitpick.
- Continuing on the redeco train, Cordon & Spinout have been announced in the Generations Selects line, begging the question, will this set beat Sunstreaker to collectors' hands?
- We take this Diaclone beat to introduce the utterly surprising Diaclone Battle Convoy which looks amazing and a literal ton of fun... for $300. Tough sell for a 7" homage, but the nostalgia will not be denied.
- Volcanicus is back, this time as a Takara box set in the Generations Selects line. Takara's version may sport cartoon-accurate decos, but we're just disappointed it's not Dino-pope.
- Runabout is not a surprise, but will we see him in Earthrise? We raise questions about how the end of Earthrise and what to expect as we speed full throttle into Kingdom.
- We briefly touch on comics with Transformers '84 #3 and the entrance of Star Saber, and generally appreciate the fun old school tone of these issues.
- We close out this episode with an entertaining round of bragging rights. Enjoy!
