The former TakaraTomy employed Transformers toy designer Alexander Kubalsky has now gotten himself his own DeviantArt profile. He has already uploaded a few Transformers toy designs and concepts amongst other non-Transformers related toys (like Batman, Gatchaman), and he will continue to do so in the future.
Should the name Alex Kubalsky not ring a bell, he was the main designer behind the fan favourite Transformers Classics line having created most of the designs and the overall aesthetic of the line, he's also the man you can thank for the Movie Bumblebee craze.
In the toy designing community he's known for preferring to draw toy concepts by hand instead of using software.
We have mirrored just a small selection of concepts in this news-post, click
here or any of the following images to visit his DeviantArt profile.
Stay tuned to seibertron.com for all your Transformers related news!

BWTF has posted interviews with Transformers Prime voice actors Sumalee Montano and Tania Gunadi, who voice Arcee and Miko respectively. The full interviews can be viewed at the following links:
Sumalee Montano,
Tania Gunadi
How would you describe Miko? What is your favorite aspect of the character? Could you tell us any more about her character and how you approached the role?
Miko is a 15 year old Japanese girl who loves her freedom! She loves adventures, punk clothing, playing guitar, hangin’ out with Bulkhead at Monster Truck Rallies, and of course, she loves inviting herself to go on any and all missions with the Autobots- especially the dangerous ones. Ha! Not to mention, she very much likes to break rules. Hmm..I’m kinda’ like that too, a bit, so my approach to the role was to have as much fun as I could possibly have leading up to and throughout each recording session!

Arcee is very different than many fans expected. She's tough, haunted, caring, smart and fierce all in one package. Did you expect such nuance in the character when you originally read for her? Is there anything of yourself that you have injected into the character to add a layer to her personality?
Based on the audition script I was given, I didn’t anticipate such a cool exploration of her haunted past. But I love that we got a chance to live through it, so people can really understand where she’s coming from and how her character grows.
I think an actor necessarily injects who he/she is into every character. That’s the beauty of it. No two actors can ever play the same role in the same way, because we’re all different. If I’m doing my job right, there is quite a bit of me in Arcee. Not all of me, of course, but definitely certain parts. I love her determination, her sassiness, and her vulnerability. I think you really see that human aspect of her through her relationship with Jack and how much she cares about him.

Writer Alex Irvine has updated his
blog with an announcement for Transformers fans, a new writer will be taking over writing duties for future Transformers novels. Irvine penned
Transformers: Exodus and it's recently released sequel
Transformers: Exiles.
To Transformers Fans
An announcement, because many of you are asking:
Someone else is going to be picking up the reins on the Transformers novels from here on out. I enjoyed writing Exodus and Exiles, and enjoyed the conversations with fans even more. Time for me to go do some other things, and for another writer to dig into the rich history of Cybertron and its valiant refugees. (And their dastardly enemies, of course!)
If you liked Exodus and/or Exiles, check out my other books.
Here's a good listing to get you started.
Thanks for reading!

gameinformer has posted the latest article in their month long Transformers: Fall of Cybertron coverage. This article titled "
True To Form: Safeguarding The Transformers License" focuses on intellectual property development and licensing. High Moon game director Matt Tieger and Hasbro vice president of intellectual property development Aaron Archer cover the following:
- On the creation of the first game
- On game narrative
- On managing Transformers lore
- On scripting a game
- On creative limits
- On designing characters
- On the War for Cybertron toys
- On Dinobots

It may seem strange for a toy brand to have its own encyclopedia of chronicled narrative. Properties like Barbie, Hot Wheels, or LEGO aren’t known for their large wealth of fiction, for example. One of the first toy properties to pioneer the concept of branching off into additional media was Hasbro’s Transformers. Since the franchise was first introduced into the world in 1984, the brand has constantly been reinvented for different markets and audiences.
High Moon’s Transformers: War for Cybertron was significant in that it translated the core Transformer’s concepts into an entertaining game. Few licenses are able to safely make this transition. We sat down to talk with High Moon game director Matt Tieger and Hasbro vice president of intellectual property development Aaron Archer about how they avoided traditional licensing pitfalls and what they learned that will make the upcoming Transformer: Fall of Cybertron even better.

It was just last week that rumors started swirling around the possibility of yet another Transformers film sequel. First Hasbro
CEO Brian Goldner stated in a conference call that "active discussions" were taking place with Paramount, Bay, and Spielberg for additional films. That was almost immediately followed by
several entertainment websites posting stories that resurrected the Jason Statham rumor and mentioned back to back filming of films 4 and 5. However,
Bay and Statham were both quick to dismiss the rumors of their involvement. Out of all the rumors one thing seemed to remain steadfast, Shia LaBeouf would not be coming back.
Now Transformers Dark of the Moon's leading lady, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, has chimed in on the possible future of the Transformers movie franchise, and seems to think LaBeouf might be game.

Heart of Cybertron. We get nice a background depicting Megatron's inner workings. Take a look below then click

Next,
Monzo has posted a set of storyboards from the G1 pilot
More Than Meets The Eye that originate from a series of Heritage Auctions that took place back in 2003. We've mirrored one of them below, it features a rather "cute" version of Ravage. Click
