Sounds ok...but nothing will ever compare to his first score.I have listened to Arrival to Earth more times than I can remember. I still have the original CD I purchased off Amazon on release day...I remember my parents asking me why I'm wasting money on a orchestra score for a Transformers movie. Still one of my favorites in my collection. The CD was sold out, then out of print, and now only downloads to be had. I like the CD best.

the "secret history of transformers" trailer is brilliant.

but no one ever said bay couldnt do a trailer.

its the bleeding movies he's the problem with and i expect it to be as stupid and mystifyingly dull as the others, and prob too long to boot.

i almost feel sorry for the animators. i mean im not a fan of the designs but can well recognize the effort that goes into em. must be gutting to see all that work tied up with the dumbest dialogue ever.

im just this side of keeping an open mind with it though as im intrigued to see what the writers room came up with (and im still fascinated to see how micheal bay can do a film thats meant to have a "girl power/ female empowerment" character in it whilst simultaneously focusing on said 15yr old girls tits bouncing around the screen. that ALONE could be gloriously mental )

STATUS : Expecting shyte , but hopeful.

Listened to the track before it got pulled. I think Jablonsky is the best composer for this series and he's done a good job of making the Transformers scores for the live action films synonymous with him like John Williams is synonymous with Star Wars.

After the Transformers-themed Chinese Coca Cola cans, as reported here, we now also have another company joining The Last Knight's promotional campaigns, as spotted by TFW2005 member Shark! Crush Soda not only has art of Bumblebee, Barricade, Megatron, and Optimus Prime, it also features a promotional free movie ticket with three 12-packs bought. Check out the images below!

In theory you should be able to poke/drill a couple of small holes in the bottom of the cans to drain, then rinse/clean them, if you wanted to safely keep the cans.

The Transformers: The Last Knight marketting campaign is taking a fun turn focusing on the historical implications of Transformers existing alongside humans at pivotal moments. We had a poster based on their appearance throughout history yesterday and today, the official Transformers Twitter feed gave us 5 images of Transformers found throughout history on different mediums, like in world war two, the middle ages and even the American revolution. Enjoy!

As much as a fan of these movies I am I have to admit that some of these photos make no sense specifically Tlk Megatron and Ironhide being there.

That's why I think some of these are only for promotional advertising only.

I hope we get toys of these designs, Hasbro, if you can read this, now is the time to repaint DOTM Legion Flak! He already has a Bumblebee-esque head!

This would have been way cooler if it didn't contradict everything in the last four movies. 'Bee and Ironhide active during WW II? I guess those were some other 'bots who came to Earth in the first movie. Megatron active in the late 1880s? Guess that was his twin brother frozen in the ice for thousands of years.

I just hope there's a better explanation than "we're ignoring the previous movies to start our own continuity."

Paramount has provided us with a new poster from next month's Transformers The Last Knight. This new poster, titled "Every Legend Hides A Secret", features Bumblebee (or at least a Transformer that looks very similar to Bumblebee) confronting a building flanked with Nazi flags presumably during World War II. In addition, we now have a larger version of the new "They Have Been Here Forever" poster from yesterday.

I agree about Ironhide and Megatron (Although for Ironhide's case it is never stated it's their first time on Earth but this is just a loose excuse because it's still stupid)

But Bumblebee was already on Earth for some time before he came to Sam we just have not known how long until now so Bee being there does not break continuity.

I think that the idea fo giant stealth robots interacting with humans could generate thousands of movies itself, without messing around with this "rethink the past" idea, which is a complete reboot.

Agreed although the room with the stuff is in the movie itself since it was in the Imax prview.

I do think the ones with Bee, Hound, Drift, "Bulldog" (Tank guy), Hot Rod and the old knights are actually canon events some of them like Hot Rod are obviously using their obviously non canon at the time modern looks so the general audience can tell who they are.

I can see Hound and Drift being on Earth before the first movie since we don't know when they actually arrived the question is what were they doing I can see Drift being a loner and not participating if he is a former Decepticon like the toy bios state but unless Hound's on some secret missions for Prime I can't see why he never joined up during say ROTF or DOTM.

I remember at the end of the imax event there was a "trailer" that so far has not been released on the net and one of the clips was of Hot Rod also attacking the Nazi's at night although until now I thought that was a scene that took place during the present so it seems that both Bee and Hot Rod were working together for sometime before the two were separated with Bee doing scouting or something and Hot Rod working with The Order of the Witwiccans also since it was a blink or miss it moment I could not tell if Hot Rod had some new military kibble like Bumblebee.

They look exactly like them though and while Megatron's new look could be inspired by this "other" guy the Ironhide guy has the exact same look with all the kibble that should not exist at the time which is WW1 you can tell with the soldiers as well as sharing the same black color as him.

I don't see people reusing Ironhide's exact look as another character.

It would be interesting to see the Transformers being a part of Earth history, but I think that the concept will get old pretty quick since human history and Cybertronian history intertwining has been a theme since Revenge of the Fallen.

As for me, a Transformers movie taking place entirely on Cybertron with nothing but our favorite robotic characters as the cast is a popcorn movie for me.

Okay, so what if it's a time travel thing to undo the future, AKA Future's Pasting the whole thing? Like, everything that's happened has caught Unicron's attention and they need to go undo a few things by traveling to the past? Or maybe the Decepticons go into the past and ruin stuff, and they have to go back in time to fight back (A Decepticon In King Arthur's Court)?

It's one of the only things that would make sense given all the guys who were protoforms coming to Earth suddenly showing up in the forties.

Meaningless speculative plot that will probably be entirely unlike the movie:

So what if the Allspark was the Matrix of Leadership in this timeline, being the one thing, the only thing to stop Unicron from eating the universe? And, finding out that it's gone, Unicron scoots on over to Earth to have a feast since that seems to be turning into Cybertron Mark II.

So, after the Decepticons find a way to time travel, they figure that if they went back in time to wake Megatron, they could take Earth and the Allspark before the Autobots even caught wind that it even was on Earth to begin with. That way, when they poop on Autobots by establishing a stronghold, they could even use the Energon Harvester and the Allspark-made robots to fight back against Unicron, and after him, the rest of the galaxy.

But, a select few of Autobots catch on and head back in time as well, hijacking the Decepticon's time machine to stop them (likely Bee, Hound and such) and they send word to their past forces that the war has a new battleground, which is why so many Transformers show up in the past, including the ones that are supposed to be dead.

In other words, friggin' Days of Future's Past.

Hopefully.

Things are super convoluted right now.

I had been thinking this was all the result of the Transformers in the present being 'time scattered' into the past at some point in the movie and having to make do until they could find their way back to the present (possibly the long way - by waiting) but Ironhide does muck with that idea.

Odd, though, that he's the only deceased model they've used for this promotion. If they were just throwing out things to look cool, without it having any actual bearing on the movie, you'd expect to see more 'retired' animation models with tweaked details.

Though to be fair I suppose a lot of characters' alternate modes are pretty recognizable. Starscream, Blackout/Grindor, Bonecrusher, Barricade, Soundwave, and the Constructicons... they really have pretty recognizable kibble. Brawl and DotM Megatron are about the only ones among the previous Decepticons I could see getting a vintage face-lift - Maybe Galvatron since he didn't really look like anything. And the Autobots are pretty similar; Ratchet and Jazz's chests would need to be altered pretty heavily to make them look like anything other than a Hummer and a Solstice, respectively.

A picture of Jetfire during the Cold War would have been cool, though.

It could be time travel maybe Bay and the crew were inspired by the rumors of time travel that like Unicron has been something people keep saying is going to happen since ROTF.

Maybe this "supposed" early draft for TF4 "AOE" had something to do with it? (Still don't know if it was legit or not)

Edit: Can't attach PDF files can someone tell me how I can post the file?

Might also be interesting if they mash together the idea of Unicron with the storyline in IDW where Shockwave tried to stop time. The name "Unicron" is sort of suggestive of a temporal singularity.

I imagine that stopping time, and effectively eliminating the concept of "change", would cost Unicron street cred as a god of "chaos" but I always thought his motivation to consume everything in existence ran contrary to that anyway (Primus seems more like chaos, and Unicron order) and if one considers Unicron's general motives, rewinding the universe back to the beginning of time might actually be more practical than eating literally everything.
