While the Transformers Cyberverse Optimus with Battle Trailer playset is a Toysrus exclusive anywhere which still has a Toysrus, we now know who is going to carry it in the US: Walmart. It has been found in stores very well stocked for the rather affordable $30 USD (see this Optimus actually comes with a trailer and costs $20 less than the upcoming G1 reissue). This was part of a new Bumblebee themed display sent to Walmart from Hasbro. The display also had Studio Series figures and the latest wave of deluxed sized Rescue Bot Academy figures which includes Hot Shot. Those were priced at $7.88 and you can talk about them in their thread if you so desire. We thank Scottimus Prime for letting us know of this sighting.

Easy. The Cyberverse deluxe and that's it.

Probably Spring of next year. I want to see her in stores as I'm strongly considering her as well.

Well, for one reason or another these have been somewhat hard to find in certain areas but I got lucky and am VERY happy to bring them to you now. If you're going to buy one, Starscream is my personal favorite, but all of them would make for great desk toys.

This is very bizarre, could you please report your problem in the problem reporting thread: seibertron-com-problem-reporting-thread-t216.php
Also, if ever you post a new review and want to bring it to our attention, please send a link (just like you reported for Hot Rod)

These are basically what you'd expect from the Scout class; barely acceptable bot modes and half an alt mode with an action feature. Ratchet's "Grapple Grab" is a crane that swings up over his shoulder. Shadow Striker's "Stealth Sniper Shot" isn't a shot at all, but rockets that come out of the back of her "car" mode. Because of her feature being in the back we've yet to actually see any pictures of her alt mode from the front as the rockets have been the focus.
So are you a fan of the Cyberverse Scout class or are these the bane of your collector existence? Sound off in the Energon Pub below.

Instead, she has a rocket-powered, ground-based, rolling skydiver mode.D-Maximal_Primal wrote:It's kinda disheartening to see how close Shadowstriker is to actually having a proper alt mode. A backpack and a flip up chest would have done it for her.

They're the greatest Transformers made since G1

Was gonna say the same thing. Is that Soundwave's new alt-mode now? An oven? Eh, still probably a better alt-mode than a tape-deck these days since most folk still use ovens.
These toys... they look pretty lousy. I dunno. Maybe they're more fun to play with than look at. One step and flip and change thingies were pretty poor looking but I could understand the quick transform appeal for younger folk.

If so they can retool him into Helex (DJD).

BTW, been playing around with Ultimate Optimus and he really isn't a terrible figure. He isn't a particularly good figure, but he does have some interesting features that he probably didn't have to have like the folding panels on his shoulders and the panel under his feat that forms the sides of the truck. Plus he has a TON of paint on the cab. His chest doors are clear blue and mostly painted over along with large spring-loaded portion of the top of the truck. All for the sake of having clear windows. I also like the atypical leg transformation so his toes aren't sticking out the back. I'm sure we've seen that before, but I can't think when. And I'm digging the low profile truck mode, it's wide and low. Shame the gimmick is annoying as all hell and likes to pop out if you accidentally hit the button or just barely tap the top of the truck. Still, if you like the cartoon and can find one on sale then go for it.

Some already beat me to the chest burster.
Looks like a fun gimmick and is that the Soundwave with that sweet mural?

Ha, jeez and thanks. I can't keep track of all these toys. Guess you newsies need to do a "all the Soundwave toys of 2019" articleZeroWolf wrote:Nah Cary, the mural Soundwave us part of the Bumblebee Movie line
I remember seeing the pop-o-matic chest minion gimmick somewhere and thought it was cool and fitting of the character and the line wide gimmick. Both Cyberverse and the Bee toys have very fun toy gimmicks.
Whelp, I guess that's two C-list Soundwaves I'll be considering

They are meant for an even younger audience than the R.i.D. toys so don't complain. They are not meant for you
Just get the Generations toys.

I've seen some of the Ultras on clearance as well, but not Shockwave.

In whose right mind thought that those would be a good idea or even be selling well?

I know that, but at the same time, RiD was meant more for little kids, but its warriors still kicked butt. I wish they had kept that frame of mind

Me too. Some if those transformarions and designs were more originsl than what we were getting in the generations line. What I find crazy is that its the same Hasbro team behind both toylines.

Both the Warrior and Ultra class toys for Shockwave are pretty well articulated (compared to the rest of the line, that is).Nathaniel Prime wrote:I'm only interested in Soundwave and the more articulated(ultra?) Shockwave.
