Blu-ray.com has listed the Blu-ray 3D Edition of Transformers Dark of the Moon with a release date of December 6th, 2011.
engadget.com is reporting that our Japanese friends will have to wait a little longer, January 20th, 2012. The disc will feature both English and Japanese soundtracks.
Lastly,
Amazon.co.uk has the 3D edition listed for a December 12th, 2011.

World's Only Maker of Arcade Quality Pinball Announces Plans for Launch Parties and Pinball Expo 2011
MELROSE PARK, Ill., Oct. 17, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Stern Pinball, Inc., the world's only maker of real pinball games, today announced plans for Transformers Launch Parties as well as their presence at Pinball Expo 2011.
In support of the highly anticipated debut of the Transformers pinball machine, Stern will be hosting a series of launch parties across North America beginning the weekend of October 21st. According to the
Hollywood Reporter Hasbro is reporting a 10% increase in third-quarter profits with the Transformers brand being "a major contributor" to that growth. That in itself is great news, but there's more! During a conference call on Monday Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner stated they are in active discussions with Paramount, director Michael Bay, and Steven Spielberg for a possible fourth Transformers film! Goldner went on to state he hopes to have more news to share in the next quarter.

With respect to TRANSFORMERS, we currently believe full year revenue for the brand will be between the levels reported during the past 2 movie years, specifically between the $482 million we reported in 2007 and $592 million reported in 2009. This is in line with our original 2011 plans. And despite beginning the year with carryforward inventory, TRANSFORMERS has been a major contributor to our revenue growth during the year, posting strong shipments and point-of-sale gains versus last year, with the year-over-year point-of-sale trends improving since the movie launch.
Given this was the third movie that focus on the same core cast of characters, we did not have the same collector pounce at product launch that we had in past years. However, the broad global consumer base has responded to the movie and trends have improved. In several markets, including several mature markets, TRANSFORMERS shipments year-to-date are up in the triple digits year-over-year, and point-of-sale in many countries during0 the third quarter was also up greater than 100%. On September 30, the Blu-Ray DVD was released, which helps to continue the momentum in the brand and serves as another opportunity to engage with our TRANSFORMERS consumers.

Yes. We do have a couple of movies from Marvel that have already been announced in Iron Man 3 and Thor 2. As you imagine, with the success of a franchise like TRANSFORMERS, we're in active discussions with our great partners at Paramount with Michael Bay, with Steven Spielberg and our writer to talk about what's next on TRANSFORMERS. And hopefully, I'll have some more news to share with you in the next quarter.

Fender Bender attended this weekend's
Slagacon convention and has an update on their Vector Zeta exclusive Powermaster upgrade for
Classics Optimus Prime.
The bad news, the exclusive has been delayed for six to eight weeks. Apparently there were some mold defects with the prototype that are going to require some additional time to work out.
The good news,
Fender Bender got to handle the original custom and the prototype and reports this feels like a "solid" piece. There is also a reason behind the sets rather odd looking trailer mode, it's incomplete. Next year's
Slagacon exclusive will be the front half of the trailer. Fans willing to take the plunge on this year's exclusive and pick up next year's should have a complete trailer. No new images, but here are the previously released prototype images for reference.

- Optimus Prime/Orion Pax with the Decepticons story will be fleshed out, expect the unexpected, Prime will receive a Decepticon symbol (we witnessed this in the season two teaser posted earlier today)
- Unicron is not the Earth, rather the Earth formed around Unicron's body (we pretty much already knew this from the season one finale)
- Bumblebee's lack of voice and why it's never been repaired will be explained in two episode arc early in season two. They would not commit to Bumblebee regaining his voice.
- Expect existing characters to get upgrades and gain new abilities
- Storyline will leave Earth at some point in season two
- New Autobots and Decepticons will be introduced. Expect characters that don't necessarily turn into vehicles
- Starscream and Wheeljack will return
- Dinobots are "definitely on the radar"
- The Tony Todd voicing Dreadwing rumor is confirmed in what they refer to as a "compelling character arc"
- Expect a higher body count in season two, and "anyone" can die
